An inexpensive authentic Dominican spot that is unfortunately no longer open for business. The service wasn’t the greatest but the food was superb. Not sure if they relocated or are closed for good. You will be missed.

We went by but the place was closed! I think permanently. Too bad, we really wanted to try it!

Great AC lunch spot! Headed over with 5 friends after night out in AC. The food here is top notch Spanish food with great prices and laid back atmosphere. They even let us BYOB(even though we were hungover lol). My friends and I have a tradition of coming here since they’re always consistent with their delicious food. A+++

Good food, but the service is so bad that I won’t return. I’ve had several bad experiences(service-wise), but on my last experience, I called for takeout. I was told 15 minutes, and I arrived about 20 minutes later. Sat there for another 20 minutes waiting for my food, as I watched several Dominican customers come in and pick up their food before me. I ordered only 1 item. Not only that, but each one of these customers was greeted much more warmly and attentively than myself. Each time I asked where my food was, I was basically ignored. Again, I will never return.

This place is awful. First of all they serve you food that it looks like it has been made the day before, and very salty. They don’t ever have anything from the menu special and even if you send something back because it was so disgusting you could eat it they still charge you for it! I would never come here again

So disappointed with place… Service was terrible and it made this one of my worst dining experiences. I had to beg for my change back, the waitress actually was playing us like she deserved a huge tip. And I waited for a while until I asked her for my change she gave me the look like I had to be kidding. She really disappointed my whole party. Never had experienced such a thing, won’t be back ever again. Not even if they supported the Little League team to bring customers. So sad, I thought Bonita was all good until I got Finca’d. Hopefully the Dueños look at Unilocal when they smoke their little leños, to wonder where their cliental is.

This local AC resto is breakfast perfection in hospitality and DR fare. Was tired of the hotel and diner breakfasts and Unilocaled a real local place off the beaten track. We couldn’t have found a better place which was open and preparing the day’s menu and flexible to create anything we wanted. There is a traditional DR breakfast of mashed plantains(mangú) and tres golpes, salami or sausage as we know it, eggs and fried cheese(queso frito) which we had to try, a side dish of the just freshly made pernil(roast pork) and passionfruit juice and coffee! What a feast it was and so much better since it was served with love and a side order of white rice and frijoles! Skip those AC breakfast buffets and pull up a chair in this homey family restaurant and eat like a king!

This food so needs 5 stars for its authentic and amazingly delicious flavors. Oxtail, mofongo, tostones, the rice! So so so good. A small joint without the frills but great Dominican food and friendly staff.

Walked in and got zero service. Not even a hello or welcome. Felt cramped and uncomfortable. Boyfriend and I just left. We were in there for a good 10 minutes and not even acknowledged our presence. And they saw us too. Didn’t even drop off a menu or give us water.

The fact that im 100%spanish its hard to find places that actually have authentic food. I must say i was in shock. I read many reviews before placing an order. It was worth it.

If you like to eat at an unsanitary dive where everyone speaks English until you question the charges on the check, this is the place to go. Half the menu isn’t served anymore and except for their flavorful rice and beans, everything else is blah. By the way, watch out for your wallet when you are here. They charge a 20% tip on the check automatically yet state it nowhere that they are doing so. We almost double tipped them on accident because of their lack of transparency.

Came here for some authentic food, and we got what we came here for. The food is not really to my taste but I can tell that they made it very well. Had the mofongo which was a lot of food. Pretty decently priced!

For first time Atlantic City go-ers looking for a nice local mom and pop shop specializing in ethnic cuisine, avoid LaFinca! My friends and I wanted to try something different after a whole day and a half of eating American food and we thought LaFinca would be a great alternative after reading many reviews. 1) The waiters do not speak to you unless spoken to. We chose our own seats and after 5 minutes of waiting, the waitress came over and dropped off the menu. 2) After waiting 10 minutes for a waiter to drop by, we were on our phones expecting someone to come check up on us, as there were at least 6 employees there and us 4 as the only customers. Nobody came up to us until we decided we didn’t want to wait any longer and finally flagged someone over. 3) Food came — portions are large and seasoned fairly well and priced decently. None of us could finish any of our food and needed to take it to go. The mofongo is definitely an acquired taste for some however. On the day we came, two of our friends ordered tap water but instead got bottled water priced at $ 1.00 each after citing that their pipes for tap were ‘frozen’. It was a high 63 degrees today, but okay. 4) We asked for the bill and when it came, we were astonished by the discrepancy of the numbers. In total, we ordered only about $ 53 worth of food and drink but were billed $ 75.12. We asked the waitress to explain this to us and she said that the remainder was tax and tip. Tax at 7% for $ 53 comes out to be $ 3.71. Our bill should have been ~$ 56.71, instead we were forced to include almost a $ 20 tip for worse service than we would get at an Applebees. All in all, unless you are a regular customer here who’s local: avoid this restaurant at all costs. You will get nothing but poor service, attitude from the staff, segregation, and a headache that is not worth the price of the food. This place was incredibly shady and untrustworthy and it has resulted in me cancelling my credit card to avoid being scheisted any further.

My family and i were craving authentic spanish food and had checked on Unilocal for a place to go to. I read about this place and it seemed like a good choice. All the reviews were good. And i’m glad that we came across this place. The food here was great and authentic tasting. And decent prices. Definitely come here compared to anything else in atlantic city.

My friend and I were so excited to try this place out while we were in AC for one night. We thought we would check out the local spots, rather than spending $$ at the expensive casino restaurants. So disappointed to be giving this place a low rating — we had high hopes after reading the reviews! Overall, the food was a bit salty, bland otherwise and underwhelming. I ordered the chicken and rice, which was good. It would have been delicious had their been less salt used in the dish. You can’t mess up chicken and rice! I got an order of sweet plantains on the side, which was alright — nothing fabulous. I’ve definitely had better. My friend ordered the shrimp mofongo. The shrimp was undercooked and the plantains had a dough-like taste. We ended up feeling sick afterward. We will not be returning here.

La Finca(Spanish for the Farm) makes authentic Dominican/Puerto Rican/Cuban dishes. The food is very well seasoned, the portions are enormous, delicious, friendly wait staff and the prices are inexpensive. If you’re in AC looking for great tasting«homemade» food for a very fair price, La Finca is a must visit for lunch or dinner. They also deliver to all of the Casino in AC. I’ve tried: Churasco(Skirt Steak): Very well-seasoned and tender. Mofongo(Fried Plantains, Pork, Pork Skin and Garlic, Mashed and then Fried): Great blend of flavors mixed into delicious mound of goodness. Roasted Chicken: Tasty Spanish style seasonings, the meat is tender and juicy. Pepper Steak: Well-seasoned pan fried, thinly sliced steak with peppers and onions. Pernil(Pulled Pork Shoulder): Slow cooked pork shoulder with Spanish seasonings cooked to perfection in its own juices. Cooked to the point that the meat falls off the bone. This is my favorite dish at La Finca. Cuban sandwich: Sliced Pernil, glazed Ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles in fresh Cuban bread, flattop toasted with a butter and garlic sauce. Forget Subway this ia a great sandwich. Red Beans and Rice: White rice, amazingly flavored red beans with lots of gravy to moisten the rice. Tostones(Fried Plantains): Thinly sliced plantains flattened and fried. Add salt and garlic. Yuca Encebollada(Boiled Yuca/Cassava, Olive Oil and Red Onion): Soft potato like texture with a mixture of olive oil and red onions that heightens the flavor. Tres Leches Cake: Cake like texture, light milk base with a fluffy white frosting. Great.

Solid Spanish food. Thanks to past reviews I know not to expect fine dining table napkin nonsense service. The staff here though in my opinion were more than accommodating. In fact the first time I visited last year, they even gave us free salad for the table. Lemon chicken was amazing. I love the beef stew but it is rather salty(this is pre-made btw which okay not fresh but hey it comes out to the table real quick! So who cares). Love ordering fresh avocado on the side. Tried the mofongo and warning! It’s enough for two people. It is very tasty though and def worth a try(chorizo, chicken are both good). One negative is that it’s lacking in protein portion. And of course rice and beans: thumbs up! The salads are kinda plain so. Don’t expect much there. Parking lot to the right of the restaurant. Clean bathroom. Homey feel… And best of all, super affordable eat!
