Spoiled fish that spoiled my mood, will never come back again! After we called to the manger he offered a refund on the spoiled meal and dealt nicely with the situation, however I had a very bad night because of the quality of the food

Horible, I ordered the red snapper, it smelled very bad. I sent it back and ordered curry chicken rice noodles. The chicken did not taste good but the flavor was good. When we got the check they kept the fish but they gave me 20% off on the fish on the top the price of the chicken

The décor is cool and all but honestly I’ve had better Thai food that was in more chilled out spaces. And the service was average. Seems like she rushed us and wasn’t really as friendly as she should be.

Amazing space with great views, nice large open dining room, extensive menu with something for everyone, reasonable pricing, and great service. This is THE thai place to go on a regular basis. What we liked: 1) The menu has a lot of variety. Several small dishes, salads, soups, entrees. Everything from fish, meat, seafood, vegetarian. Our favorite items are: — Steamed chicken and shrimp dumplings — fried shrimp in sweet chili sauce — Thai Samosa — Thom ka kai soup — Pla Sham Rod(pan fried asian white fish with sweet chili sauce) 2) They will customize dishes. I often for instance change the sauce on the fish dish I like to make it different every time. 3) The restaurant has a nice view of the atlanta skyline which can be seen both from inside the restaurant and the outdoor seating. 4) Service is very efficient and helpful. 5) Free self-parking.

Tuk Tuk serves tasty Thai street food in a trendy atmosphere with amazing views of Midtown Atlanta. Located on the third floor of a building just north of where Peachtree Street meets I-85, you can enjoy Thai rice dishes, noodle dishes, soups, and curries with a great view of the Atlanta skyline. Highlights: The view is one of the best I’ve seen in a restaurant in Atlanta. There’s a balcony with a few benches near a heater where you can sit and chat while looking at midtown Atlanta. The balcony wraps around the restaurant so you can look towards Peachtree Road. This side doesn’t have as great of a view, but there is more seating — probably better enjoyed during the warmer months. My friend and I ordered Thai iced teas, the Hoy Tod(a crispy mussel omelette served with vegetables), the Kao Moo Dang(BBQ pork with Thai sausage), and the special which included grilled chicken, a skewer of shrimp, Thai fried rice, and a Masaman curry. I will recommend the Hoy Tod — the omelet was fried well and went well the sauce and the vegetables. If you haven’t eaten Thai sausage before, it’s sweeter than European or American sausages and is red with a softer texture. The grilled chicken was cooked very well — the meat was tender, well seasoned, and good with the curry. I thought the atmosphere was pleasant — few screens with rotating slide shows of pictures on the wall, large tables, and decorations that included large vases and displays of food. Critiques: While the Hoy Tod was very good, it was a little stingy on the mussels. But the omelet itself and the vegetables were so good that I can look past that. I did think, however, that both the drink and the food were a little too sweet. The Thai iced tea was sweeter than most Thai iced teas I’ve had. Our Masaman curry and the sauce for the Kao Moo Dang were, in my opinion, sweeter than my iced tea. Overall: Tasty Thai food with a little too much sugar for my taste, but cooked well otherwise. I would say that this is one of my favorite Asian restaurants for atmosphere, however, in Atlanta.

The best food in SoBu. Great drinks and the food is spectacular. But the highlight of Tuk Tuk is the service.

Amazing space, good food. The pad thai was a little off… the noodles were not traditional pad thai noodles. I’m blanking, but I believe they were more like vermicelli, so think noodles, which doesn’t resonate well with the consistency of the sauce they used. I will be back though because I love thai food and haven’t been able to find a decent place in the area. There was a group of people there for a birthday dinner I think. They decided to have a photo shoot in the middle of the restaurant which I thought was pretty obnoxious… but I guess you gotta do it for the ‘gram. [side eye]

Came here after Shake Shack left us hungry. The food here is very flavorful. I had the noodles which were very tasty. The décor and ambience here is also very nice. Located in the heart of Buckhead. Easy parking with a big lot which is rare in the area. You take an elevator to get to the restaurant. Friendly service and staff. A+ recommended.

Great service! W ordered the calamari, beef skewers, and Tom Kha Ga soup. The beef was tender and very flavorful! The soup was just ok, but the calamari was well done, and so was the lemon chili sauce. I loved the décor and ambience here. We has a great view of the city.

First impression was great because parking was very easy! When I first walked in, I found the décor very very presentable. You have to take the elevator to the third flood where you will be greeted by a hostess. My waiter was very nice and attentive. The service was however slow, takes you about 10+ minutes after you order for your food to arrive. I had the Pad Thai and my mom had gotten a rice dish, that we both enjoyed a lot. Overall experience was pretty great.

The food wasn’t amazing(!) but I have no complaints. My hungry stomach was happy. It wasn’t very busy so I had the server’s full attention the whole time. I appreciated the constant water refills. My hubby and I shared the papaya salad side as an app and I asked for it to be spicy. It was very flavorful but a little too salty for my taste. My husband absolutely loved it though! I got the green curry noodle dish with tofu and gobbled it all up! My husband liked the flavor of his pad thai too, despite being thrown off by the different noodles in his pad thai dish. A little too pricy for the portion size but would definitely come again!

Parking: EASY. There’s a large open parking lot right behind the building. Ambiance: Once you enter the restaurant from the parking lot, you take an elevator to the 3rd floor, which is where the restaurant is located. You are immediately greeted by the hostess stand and the bar is to your immediate right. Inside the main restaurant, there is a canopy of lights, which makes it look like a starry night. Décor is modern asian with plenty of seating, especially for large groups +15 or more. Service: Pretty slow. It took quite a while for our server to get our drink orders and our food orders. She seemed pretty busy, especially since she was training a new employee. Otherwise, a-ok. Food: Abundant, huge portions. We were both surprised with how much food you get. It’s a lot. You’ll definitely have room for leftovers. I ordered the panang chicken, which was ok. The sauce was great, but the chicken was very bland and had a very«chicken flavor.» I probably wouldn’t order that again. My manfriend ordered a seared salmon curry dish with fried eggplant, which tasted good EXCEPT for the fried eggplant. The eggplant tasted like it was freezer-burned and stale. Definitely not fresh. We also ordered these beef skewers for appetizers, which was AMAZING, a must order! In fact, I would go back to just order those beef skewers. Overall: Average thai food, nice ambiance, stress free parking, and great for large groups.

This was my first time visiting Tuk Tuk and my co-workers rave about how amazing it is. The service was not what I was expecting at all. We had to wave our server down to refill our drinks and to get our check. The food was really good, but I wouldn’t return due to the lack of service.

Pretty good food — small portions and prices are a bit steep. Definitely more on the sweet rather than spicy side. Note the elevator… all the reviews are right(it takes forever). I would go back but don’t think it’d be my first choice. Nice ambiance though and food was served really quickly.

Went here for a lovely dinner with my daughter and her fiancée. Interesting experience, and one that I would like to enjoy again sometime in the future. The food was delicious, and the appetizers were also winners. The interior space is unique, open, and well-decorated, and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The kitchen space is also open to the restaurant, which adds to the ambiance of the overall experience. I definitely recommend this place. The noise level is a little high due to the open environment and the high ceilings, so be prepared.

Good view of the city if you get to sit outside. I think this is a nice place to go for a birthday or something. Food was good. I tried the calamari and Thai tea, which were really good. I ordered a vegetarian pad Thai, which was ok. Our waiter was super nice.

A nice Thai restaurant for a casual evening with family & friends. Nestled just at the border of midtown its free from all the craziness yet you don’t feel disconnected from the city at all. With ample parking space and located right on peachtree street, this eatery is easily accessible. The Tuk Tuk at the entrance definitely adds an authentic vibe. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor which gives you a nice city view if you choose to sit at the patio. Inside décor is modern and yet has many hints of traditional Asian culture. Drink recommendation; the lychee martini but do request to keep it low on sugar. If not a big martini fan then ask for their margarita but again get it low on sugar. Food recommendation; Pla Sahm Rod: Pan fried fillet of asion white fish with 3 flavor chili sauce topped with cilantro. It’s cooked to perfection. The fish isn’t dry or over cooked and the sauce is s perfect blend of sweet and spice. Don’t ask to make it low on spice otherwise it’ll just be too sweet. The only reason I won’t give it a 4 star is cause of its service. The menus were torn and were in desperate need of replacement. Our server was very nice but we could see he had too many tables assigned to him and hence was a bit slow. Overall it’s a good Thai restaurant.

The restaurant is easy to find and there’s plenty of parking. When you walk into the building, there’s a tuk tuk next to the elevator that you have to take to get to the restaurant. Environment: There’s a pretty nice view of Atlanta along the bar. The look of the place is clean and modern. Service: We were seated promptly and our waiter was very nice and attentive. Food +Ba-Mee Moo Dang — BBQ pork with egg noodle, yu choy(type of Asian green), peanuts, scallions, and cilantro. I think this came recommended by our waiter. To be completely honest, there was nothing I liked about this dish. It was bland and soggy and such a turn off that I didn’t finish eating it. The portion was also on the smaller side. This dish was $ 13 and one of the cheaper items on the menu. Regardless of price point, the food is subpar and I wouldn’t want to come again. I know I only tried the one dish, but my friends who have come here have similar sentiments regarding the quality of the food.

I guess I have been wowed by so many Thai places in Atlanta, I expected more. When I started with the appetizers and didn’t like them, I opted to just get a soup for dinner and I was glad I did because the food that came out to my party of seven was ok. Somosas– these are tiney potato wedges wrapped in a cripsy fried rice paper. They were tasty but left me wanting more. Each one is barely a bite full and if you share them all you get is a small taste. Moo yang — pork skewers and stick rice. The presentation is great, vertical hanging skewers with a dipping sauce. They were good but again, such a little bite in each skewer. The sticky rice was hard and I couldn’t get it to go with my meal like I do at other Thai places. Zi klong moo– are spare ribs with a garlicy and peppery seasoning. These where the best thing in the restaurant. I was glad we ordered 2, should have gotten more as my entry if not for my wish to eat healthier. Tom yum — I’ve never tried this soup before and maybe it was my mistake in ordering it. However, it was too spicy and I did not like it at all. Ba-mee moo dang — These bbq pork noodles. My friend got these and I must say, they were very good. Pla Tod– this is the giant fried red snapper. If you like fish and you don’t mind fried food then you’ll like it. Dessert: Guay Tod– my friend got this and liked it. I thought it was ok. Sticky Rice Mango– this isn’t on the menu but it was yummy. Overall the portions are tiny for apps and dinner entrees(unless u get that fried fish) and prices are high. I don’t mind paying more and getting less when it’s quality over quantity but I did not find that here.
