Tran-quility Home Salon

Tran’s salon is tranquil and glamorous in an understated way. She is friendly and knows her stuff. I can go in and tell her my thoughts and she helps me figure out what will help give me my best result. Her prices are very reasonable, and the salon is clean and cozy. I have thick curly hair, and she takes care of it like it’s easy. I would definitely recommend this place, but I’m almost afraid to because I don’t too many people to know the secret… and make it even harder to get an appointment. :) She’s also super accommodating with her schedule.

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Tran who runs our neighborhood salon appropriately named Tran-​quility Spa.
Background:
Tran & her family have lived in Underwood Hills for several years and she has been in the stylist business for 18 years. She opened her Spa/​Home Salon with the support of her husband, Michael, to offer our neighborhood professional, convenient, and affordable services.

Tran’s prices are fair and she offers some of the latest trends (including tip dip dye in ombré which I can’t wait to try!). She hosts private parties and has a wonderful, intimate, and fully functional space.

Her salon is child-​friendly — my kids plop down on the sofa and read her books while I get my hair cut — and cozy enough that you can watch all the shenanigans the kids get into anyway. Also she usually blocks time out for her clients so you will most likely be the only one there so you don’t have to worry about your kids upsetting the other customers or the disdainful receptionist like in many B’head salons.
Overall:
I am so relieved and ecstatic to find a convenient salon that fits my needs as a SAHM (including my self-​imposed limited budget for «self-​maintenance»)! I highly recommend Tran-​quility and I’m thrilled to bring some polish back into my look after a few years of frumpiness. My hair is healthier, my toes are are happier and my kids are groomed. :)
