This restaurant is located inside the Marriott hotel. Marriott burger is delicious with as advertised crispy bacon! Staff are very polite, friendly and attentive. Guinness on draft but unfortunately they don’t know how to pour it properly although I haven’t found anywhere in the US that pours it probably so can’t really score them down for that. Loses a point because unfortunately you have to share the bar with the typically business/training course/convention going residents, some of which can be a bit obnoxious.

I have worked in the nearby area for over 5 years and never knew about this place. So sad. I had a work meeting and gave my dining partner the option of a few places around this location. She picked The Stackstone Grille. Perfect! We arrived late in the lunch hour, but no worries. I ordered the cobb salad and she ordered wings. My salad was the perfect size and tasted great. My dining partner also enjoyed her lemon pepper wings. She said it had good flavor and was a great for a light lunch. We stayed for a quite a while(a decent amount of time after they were closed for lunch), but never felt rushed by the staff. They let us be. And service, overall, was great. I will definitely be back.

Food was okay. Seafood chowder was nice, but ny steak was too salty for my taste. Nice service.

One of the better hotel restaurants I’ve been to. Very clean & staff is friendly & attentive. AM breakfast buffet selection is great but a bit pricey Very large bar area & nice sized dining room for more formal dining. I would suggest the following items: –Chicken Parmigiana is AMAZING. –French Onion Soup –Key Lime pie Rigatoni pasta was ok, I opted for sausage with a red sauce & it tasted very generic. Overall staff is great & food is too!

Better than typical marriot fare– had onion soup and meatloaf — tasty and well done. Service was excellent — nice environment by lobby — good choices if staying at hotel — which is miles from alternate choices

Shrimp n grits were very good. Came with 4 – 5 fried green tomatoes. Waitress was good. Definitely would trying if un are staying at the Marriott.

The first night I ate at the Stackstone Grill, I had wonderful and efficient service. I ordered the barbeque shrimp and grits with fried green tomatoes. The grits were amazing — creamy and smooth. The shrimp and tomatoes were just all right. I typically find restaurant food to be overly salty, but I actually had to salt the fried green tomatoes. I returned for another meal during my stay at the Marriott, and it was much less stellar. The service was rushed and spotty, and we kept getting pushed to order more drinks. Speaking of drinks, after ordering a mojito, my co-worker was told they have no mint. So, she ordered a margarita that was so weak, all she could taste was the sour margarita mix. Glad I stuck with wine. I had the Marriott burger, and she had the chicken quesadilla — both were typical of bar fare.

We attend a conference twice a year at the Marriott that houses the Stackstone Grill. The service has gotten better over the years and the chef has done an excellent job with the menu. The calamari is one of our favorites — done to perfection. The Marriott Burger is not too bad either. My favorite is the mushroom rigatoni. The buffet is pretty good, but kind of expensive. Made to order omelets and fresh fruit start the day off right. The staff are friendly, but I’d like them to be just a bit more attentive. They can be slow when a convention lets out for lunch, but they are working on it. They even worked with us to develop a special menu for price-conscious and need quick service. There aren’t a lot of dining options very close to the Marriott, but the Stackstone Grill is better than many hotel restaurants I’ve been in.

This is located inside the hotel I was staying at. I had the ribs since I was in Atlanta. You know the diet of Southerners. BBQ, sweet tea, sweet potatoes, etc. The night I was dining here, there was a Crackheads Anonymous support group gathering. No joke.

Excellent salad. I had a salmon ceasar salad. The salmon was huge! At least 10oz. Very well cooked. The seafood chowder was awesome as well. The service was also excellent. I asked about the soup and they actually gave me a cup to try it at no charge! Thanks!

This restaurant is located inside a Marriott. Because of that, it’s not a likely spot for locals – and that’s a shame, because the service is spectacular and the food is great. Highly recommended dish: the bbq shrimp, cheese grits, and fried green tomatoes. They come together on a platter. The barbecue isn’t overwhelming; it has a balance of tangy and sweet. The cheese grits had a delightful flavor I couldn’t quite identify(in addition to the real cheese). The fried green tomatoes were loosely battered and crisp. Others in our party had the salmon or burgers; nobody had a single complaint. The service was perfect: not too often, not too chatty, but not ignoring us. Glasses stayed refilled. We stayed a terribly long time(over three hours), and the wait staff did not seem to mind(the restaurant wasn’t terribly busy). I’ll be going back, and I highly recommend it for a different dining experience with gorgeous ambiance. The fountains in the lobby on the way are not to be missed, and the décor inside the restaurant is crisp and clean.
