It’s 11:30PM, you just got done drinking downstairs in the basement(in a Tiki Bar), and you want to finish off the note on a even better note(like I thought I could top that off) by going up to the top floor of the Hilton into the bar of a 4AAA Diamond Restaurant and have stellar drinks, views, and company! I wasn’t dressed for the occasion(as I had no idea we would go), but that was ok– as my buddy who I was with used to work here, and it was the same bartender from a few years ago as well! She was warm and welcoming, and gave us whatever we needed. This is also a cigar lounge as well– but last call on a cigar is one hour before posted closing hours. I don’t smoke cigars anymore, so that didn’t apply to me. However, the 2 gentleman that sat next to us– were CEOs in their trade(the jewel business), were sipping warm brandy, smoking cigars, and eating soufflé(served barside!) — like true execs. They enjoyed our company, so they ended up buying our drinks(as we were drinking on the ever so popular local SweetWater 420) — I thought that was cool! In return, I gave them some ideas for places where to hang out the following night. It was a rainy night, but that didn’t discount the fact we had the entire damn place to ourselves with an awesome view to match. I am so surprised that this place isn’t busier! There is a dance floor as well with a piano(but it wasn’t being played at the time). They have every type of drink available, from mid end– to high end. They even have 7 – 8 flavors of vodka that they make in house! There is no charge to come here(as some other rooftop places charge), and since I went to Trader Vic’s first, parking was free. This truly is a hidden gem in the city, and if you don’t like to drink or smoke cigars, at least come for the view, as it is large enough you won’t get covered in cigar smells! I also found out the same bartender works here from Tues-Sat, so if you like her, you can expect to see her on the norm :) Cheers!

The Point of View Lounge is located at the top of the Hilton. Love the view here. At night you can enjoy a beautiful view of Atlanta and a drink. The atmosphere is super romantic. It’s really relaxing. They sell cigars here. We are always in shock that this place is not packed. The bartender is wonderful. I ordered the doughnuts and milkshake off the menu. They were shockingly expensive, but extremely tasty. The little strawberry milkshake went great with my wine. They have music playing in the background. If you want to cut a rug they have a dance floor, but we have never tried it out. If you want a nice relaxing drink head to the top of the Hilton. It’s located adjacent to NiKolai’s Roof. This is a hidden gem.
