I have been Here multiple times and food and service have always been good. The Brussels sprouts are the best. I recommend much here anytime!

Awful service. Awful food. Nice atmosphere. My boyfriend and I went here last night. $ 14 crab cakes literally only give you one. They are pricing their food like they are F&B or H&F but they are simply just BS. We spent $ 92 on our meal and I found myself walking out of there drooling at the McDonalds across the parking lot. It was awful. We sat inside which was mistake number one. From the inside you can hear the chefs yelling at each other. The seats were dirty and we were too closely packed next to other tables. The overall genre of patrons I would describe as Buckhead white trash. My boyfriend had on a nice polo and jeans and we were sitting next to a greasy old man in a wife beater. Do not waste your time with this terrible restaurant.

3 stars for the friendly service and an extended wine list. My friend and I met here for a weeknight dinner. The menu is diverse in that it offers small plates, cold plates, hot plates and main entrees. There is a variety of selection to choose from. We both opted for a salad and a hot plate. Our server was very patient with us taking extra long to order our drinks. We ordered a bottle of viognier from California to share. Although the wine was decent, I was surprised it didn’t wow me. For dinner I ordered a caesar salad. The salad was dressed perfectly, with the right amount of croutons; overall I enjoyed the salad. However I was disappointed our server led me in the wrong direction with the risotto. He recommended it over the kale & shrimp salad. Sadly the risotto was drab with carrots, green beans & corn. And worst off, it was clumpy and more of a rice dish and less of a rich risotto that had been gently stirred and cooked. I am sad this wine place has hits and misses in the food department but I would give them one more chance, possibly.

I came here for the first time with a group of girlfriends. The food was amazing. No complaints here. However, the ambiance is a bit odd. It’s in a shopping plaza and the patio is covered in a giant tarp with an excessive amount of plants. And there was a live band, which made it impossible to have conversation. Five stars for the food, but one star for the atmosphere. With all of the great options nearby, I probably wouldn’t come back.

Great atmosphere in the outdoor dining room. Great for a small dinner party. Great wine selections. As of recent the chef has lost his edge with only mediocre execution.

One of the better restaurants located in Brookhaven, I used to come here a lot, especially during lunch. Nice ambience, friendly staff, and great food. Some of the highlights here are the shrimp and stone ground grits, the Bordeaux lamb burger with parmesan fries, and the grilled flank steak. They also have an extensive list of wines and cocktails as well as local beers on tap. This is an awesome place to grab dinner and drinks after work or go to for date nights on the weekend. If you go during a nice sunny day, ask for the enclosed patio seating outside. Overall, I would give this place a solid 4⁄5 stars.

Have been going to this place occasionally for 5 years. Food has improved, and certainly the décor. but don’t go on Tuesdays! At lunch we were immediately told«no duck burger, no fish tacos, no fried green tomato, and there was one other thing that I don’t recall. This was at noon! Apparently a supply truck didn’t come in… that was the story. So disappointing as I went for the fish tacos which are some of the best. Very unapologetic about it. Had the barbecued salmon on a plate(no bun) and sweet potato fries that were marginally burnt. I didn’t complain as was in a business meeting and didn’t want to make a big deal. Just a disappointing experience.

Don’t let the fact that this restaurant is located in a strip mall scare you. Terra Terroir was a pleasant surprise tucked away in a remote shopping plaza. The restaurant has a dimly lit romantic ambiance making it great for a date night. The outdoor terrace has unique décor that reminds you of a giant outdoor garden. We sat in the outdoor terrace as it is covered and heated in the winter. I’m sure it would be a great place to dine in the summer. We decided on sharing different starters and small plates. The mussels were our one of our favorites — delivered in a large bowl and a delicious white wine and butter sauce. The staff was polite, friendly, and offered excellent service.

Hidden gem! This is such a delightful place, tucked away in plain sight and better yet, only ~½ mi. from me! Small, quaint, romantic vibe. Amazing food, impressive wine selection & very knowledgable barkeeper/sommelier, Chris. I usually order the scallops & a dessert — the bread pudding is killer! The food is always great — very good quality, tasty, good balance of options. Friendly, prompt service greets me every time. Romantic ambiance extends out on the patio — great for a date! A table anywhere is great but sometimes I like to cozy up to the bar & chat with our fearless leader & other locals. I love to go to support the local community — the owner couldn’t be more gracious & welcoming. I like to go when I can & always look forward to the visits.

Hidden gem! This is such a delightful place, tucked away in plain sight and better yet, only ~½ mi. from me! Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you — it’s well worth a visit. Small, quaint, romantic vibe. Amazing food, impressive wine selection & very knowledgable sommelier, Chris. I usually order the scallops($ 28) & a dessert — the bread pudding($ 8) is to die for! The scallops are always tender & cooked to perfection. Sometimes I’ll share a salad($ 10) that’s delicious with roasted beets & goat cheese. My date has had the veal chop($ 32) & gushes over it. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Aside from the food, friendly, prompt service greets me every time. There’s a romantic ambiance, whether you dine indoors or out on the patio — the patio is magical when the weather is nice! This place is perfect for a date & I’ve seen quite a few groups for birthday celebrations. It’s not too busy during the week. If you’re going on a Friday or Saturday night it probably wouldn’t hurt to make a reservation — the place is quaint. The crowd is your young /mature professionals, mostly Brookhaven locals. I love to go to support the local community — the owner couldn’t be more gracious & welcoming. And it’s nice that dining here doesn’t break the bank, unlike many nearby places!

Consistently one of my favorite places to go for work lunch. From the outside, it does not look like the gem it is. Back patio is FABULOUS and the food is always good no matter what I get. Prices are ok and service is good.

A Brookhaven gem that we have been coming to for almost 10 years. They have changed chefs a lot recently but the food has stayed consistent and we usually have excellent service. The wine menu is fantastic and they have a sommelier on staff(Chris) and he is very friendly and helpful. They do half-priced bottles on Monday nights. We come for lunch and dinner. The outside patio is beautiful day or night so make sure you sit there. Even in the winter it is enclosed and heated. Entreés range from $ 20+ and majority are very good. We tend to order our favorite Buffalo/Montana meatloaf but they have many other types of dishes like steak, fish and pasta. The menu is seasonal but we always enjoy the crispy Brussel sprouts– the dipping sauce is addicting. We tend to come here for celebrations or if we’ve had a rough day and want to have a nice dinner with a good bottle of wine. They have been very accommodating even with our toddler who has been coming since he was a newborn. If you don’t love your entreé, come again and try another one. You can’t beat the atmosphere.

I was staying at a motel across the street, had no car, it was raining and it was 9:00 pm. My options were limited but I struck gold. I would have missed this place — as other reviewers have said, it’s in a strip mall and doesn’t look at all promising from the outside. Inside it’s a warm comfortable atmosphere with a welcoming staff. It was very close to closing time so I sat at the bar in the back. The menu had a lot of great options but the clock dictated I order fast. I went for the Penne Primavera Pasta with Chicken. It was a win — full of flavor, fresh tasting, and beautifully prepared and presented. The happy friendly staff and the excellent food combined to make this a great experience.

This restaurant is hidden in an obscure shopping plaza. But don’t let the exterior prevent you from dining at this establishment! This is my second time dining here and came recently to celebrate a friend’s bday. We started with the Terra wing app — menu says 5 pieces, but we got 6(Score!) It has a chipotle bbq sauce(reminds me of McDonald’s thai chili dipping sauce lol) over the roasted wings and it was pretty good. Parmesan Truffle Fries — I have a weakness for fries… had to get this on the side. I could taste the truffle but it lacked Parmesan. I felt like I paid $ 6 for McDonald’s medium fries. I had the meatloaf — it was a little dry and not very saucy. Just needed a little more flavor or sauce and it would have been a very good meatloaf. Also, the size of that thing was huge! I only ate half of it… veggies were also very good. My friend had the chicken pesto pasta and thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert — my favorite part was the bread pudding! Probably my fave out of everything. We both also had a glass of the Riesling — def recommend the Dr. Loosen(Germany) for a crisp taste!

If you are looking for a decent meal in Atlanta this is one of the better ones in town to visit. It is located in one one of my favorite locations in Atlanta near Steinman’s. The décor is interesting, it’s a little too dark and in like for my taste. However we say in the back near the trees and a fountain which was pretty cool. The food here was very good. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. It was great. The meatloaf tasted just right. The potatoes were good as well. Best of all, the service was excellent. Pretty standard place with great food.

I found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it based on the reviews and pictures. We drove past the place twice because I didn’t expect Terra Terroir to be located next to a nail salon and a McDonalds in a divey strip mall. The location is bizzar and nearly prompted us to ditch our reservation and go elsewhere. We are really glad that we didn’t. The service was attentive and knowledgable about the menu. Our waiter was useful at helpful and suggested food choices that would pair well with our wine choices. My friend who accompanied me had the special which was a cod dish. It was perfectly cooked and very flavourful. I had the steak frites. The steak was cooked as ordered, but the cut of meat was not the best. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée which was amazing. I would absolutely come again. Do not be scared off by the exterior.

Terra Terroir is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. For the quality of food and service, and the beautiful ambiance, it’s totally underpriced and underrated. Perfect for a date night, family night or even a girl’s night out. Oh, and they have the most beautiful patio in the back!

You would not guess what is hidden behind a very bland façade and a unpretentious entrance nestled between shops on Brookhaven Plaza. Beautiful outdoor dining — nicely decorated. this place is buzzing with Brookhaven«regulars». Great wine list and very good food although most of the items on the menu are overpriced. For the special occasion a top place in Brookhaven.

We had such a wonderful time at Terra Terrior. From start to finish a wonderful evening and date night. We didn’t have a reservation so we had a small wait, and sat at the bar for cocktails. The bartender was friendly enough but after sitting and having a vodka tonic, beer, and mussels we opted to sit at a table. Which is unusual for us as we Always sit at the bar. Maybe it was just an off night for him but it only got better as we went along. The outside terrace was absolutely lovely! It had twinkling lights and soft trickling of water in the small pond in the back. We ordered a bottle of Ben Marco and decided to split everything we ordered to try it all. The wine was lovely and our service was without a doubt top notch. We ordered the beet salad to start with goat cheese and candied pecans. Probably our favorite. We also ordered the Filet Wellington and vegetable plate with Brussel Sprouts, Green Beans and Butternut Squash! All delicious! For dessert we had chocolate and it was very rich and tasty. Overall a delicious and wonderful experience, who knew all that splendor was hidden in a rinky-dink shopping center next to McDonalds and a RiteAid !! Will be back!

I’ve been dining at Terra Terroir, formerly Terra Grille, for many years since I’m a Brookhaven resident. I must admit that it’s not what it used to be, despite its expansion(along with significant menu price increases). My salmon was way under done compared to how I ordered it – and the veggies /sides were cold when they returned my plate to me. The server who was very friendly, was really just«fair» as they go. For the prices, I was disappointed. It was a special occasion for my g/f and I, and don’t think we’ll be back to Terra Terroir.

We had 11 in our group for a birthday dinner. The setting was perfect, the service was prompt and accurate, and the food was delicious. Four people had the grilled sea bass and raved about its freshness and salsa-like accompaniment. Several of us had the lamb cassoulet that bursted with flavor and a balsamic sauce. Bread pudding dessert was a hit as well as the classic chocolate lava cake. The wine selection was plentiful and the whole evening was fun, intimate for a family birthday, and the ambiance friendly and warm.

5 for Service, Environment, & Seating! 3.5 — 4 for Food I would NEVER have thought to check this place out since the location is kind of random. But hey, those are the best ones right? The parking here is GREAT. Pretty sure this lot never gets full since it’s in a strip mall. Don’t let the outside look fool you. When you walk inside, it looks so different. Space — they have plenty of tables in the front, a cool bar with 2 man tables, AND a very nice area for the«outside» seating. The seating outside has a roof so it’s a part of the restaurant but at the same time, we could feel the current outside temperature. It also has a fire place. It’s kind of romantic when I think about it. Service — my party was a little late. Traffic was bad that night so me and my bf hung out at the bar. Every 10 mins the host would come track us down and ask if the others arrived. I should mention, the place was PACKED. So it was nice to know the Host had a good memory for people waiting/wandering around. When the others arrived, the host immediately brought them to us. By that time, all the 4 man tables were occupied(which was fine!). We just had to wait 20 mins. But a bar was there, we weren’t complaining. When a table opened up, we were seated outside. It was really pretty. Definitely come to this side if you’ve got a date. :) Food We got the hummus & Brussel Sprouts as appetizers. These items are my favorite apps of all time. They were delicious. The hummus came with like 2 – 3 types of sauces. I can’t remember. The Brussel Sprouts were done perfectly. That sauce was a great add on. I had the Seared Grill Salmon with Quinoa. The Salmon was good, but I wished it was a little bit more cooked. I rarely eat Salmon but when it was the only item I was really interested in, I got it! I recommend it but maybe done more rather than Medium Rare. I ate everything on the plate. Salmon had a special sauce. I forgot the name, but it complimented the meal. Oh and it was some greens in there. Nom nom. My bf had the Pasta — he said it was ok. Nothing special. I think he ordered the wrong thing haha. Bf’s mom had the Chilean Sea Bass — she said it was good, BUT not the best she’s had. She’s also from Savannah, GA… so she’s tasted fresh fish in the past. I don’t know if Atlanta’s restaurants can compare to Sav’s fish plates. :P My other friends who are from the same town as her say the same thing. Bf’s sister had the chicken– That looked delicious. I think next time I’ll give that a shot. Overall — I’d come back. It looks like a nice date spot!

A little pearl hidden in a half unoccupied strip mall ! Lovely atmosphere with a beautiful garden room in the back. Come early so you can enjoy the dinner without being rushed! It took me a while to give this place a try. I’ve always heard great things about the place but judging from the outside, it didn’t give me an inviting appetite. Like the old saying, «never judge a book from its cover,» this place is a gem. I enjoyed an awesome lunch, then dinner, then celebrated my birthday here as well. They have an outside patio area, along with a private table with a fireplace that is like a cute nook. This place is definitely a surprise every time I visit. Everything on the menu is delicious. The salad, appetizers, and entrees. Though I would say the bread pudding didn’t meet the par. I really enjoy this place and is one of my favorite spots at the moment. Only thing I can wish for is to expand their menu or have seasonal menu. Once I go through their whole menu, I feel like I might be wanting less of the place…
