I would definitely recommended Shawon for all your hair needs! I have very thick curly hair and Shawon has done a great job of keeping my hair healthy while being able to get in very straight without it get frizzy. I have gotten my hair straighten by many people and I have never gotten so many compliments when She did. My press even lasted through working out multiple times! Go see her!

For a while, I went to get my hair done and the Dominicans on Jimmy Carter to get my hair done but the waiting is ridiculous. I would have to go at 9am to be able to leave by 2pm. I tried a few other salons but no one knew how to make my hair look flawless. After being highly recommended to Shawon Pinder, I decided to give it a try and I will NEVER let anyone else touch my hair. Shawon is incredibly talented, very pleasant and works great around my schedule. Every time she does my hair, whether it is for the courtroom or a night out on the town, I get many many praises on how fabulous and healthy it looks! With all honesty, I can say that Shawon Pinder is the best hair sylist ever! I mean she is truly phenomenal! She has every key aspect of a perfect hair stylist: one who keeps the health and beauty of your natural hair at top priority creating a hair regimen specific to your own individual hair needs, no matter what condition or what type of hair you have, she can guarantee deliverance and restoration bringing your hair to its optimal health and beauty. she does not yank your hair carelessly tearing it with brushes and combs like so many stylists, nor burn your hair with thermal tools like the marcel irons. She uses diamond infused thermal tools that encourage hair’s moisture, shine, and silkiness. Shawon is also great with natural styles for for all textures. (I love a great twist out that lasts, or beautiful mermaid waves with extensions). She does it all and to perfection! She’s also great with coloring while maintaining healthy, shiny hair (from shiny rich black to bleached blonde, your hair will be shiny, bouncy, and healthy), or a precision cut (her shears are hikari– top of the line, google them and you’ll see what I mean). Shawon styles many celebrities, but she treats ALL of her clients and their hair like they are CELEBRITIES. Trust me, your hair will grow like never before once you entrust Shawon’s anointed hands! She treats hair like precious jewels down to specifics like water temperature and drying times as these things can cause dullness to your hair if not used properly. I am extremely picky about my hair, the health of it, the style of it, the feel of it. Ive tried so many different «top of the line» stylists of whom I was reffered to prior to meeting Shawon and absolutely no one compares to Shawon. I need someone exclusive in every way down to the products they use to do my hair! I dont need to be able to go to a store and buy the same products my stylist uses, and I need someone who is constantly staying up to date with new styles and products to maintain nothing but the best. Ive had just about every style I can think of since shawon has come into my life from different colors, weaves, and she even brought my hair to natural (I’m African American, but Shawon specializes in all hair types including all ethnicities EFFORTLESSLY with over twenty years of experience! I love Shawon and so does my hair, she is such a positive person and she’s had the most positive impact on my hair, I am truly lucky to have found her!
