Not as «super» as the East Andrews location but being that this location is closer to me, it is now my new Jenny’s spot. Parking and seating is a bit limited but the food is definitely worth it when you’re in the mood for fantastic soups and sandwiches. Menu changes very frequently but still keep their most famous items such as turkey chilli. Drop by to grab a quick bite and get a taste of what a fresh hearty soup tastes like, especially when you’re sick and in need of remedy. For sandwiches, I just love it when they put it on pretzel bread! I’m not a huge soup and sandwich person but Jenny’s converted me! Oh, and make sure you have cash because Jenny’s only takes cash!

Great lunch spot in Buckhead! The food was delicious and very filling. The only downside was they don’t take credit cards, only cash — so I had to pay a fee to get some from the ATM. Next time I’ll come prepared!

Always a treat. Happy to have a new location a little closer to home. The soups and salad are always fresh and the recipes are delicious. The folks working there are always sweet and so are the cookies. You get what you pay for here.

Esl up and sandwiches are fresh and wonderful. Parking sucks really bad unless you go when they open or close. They publish their daily offerings via email which i love. I deducted a star for parking because that is how bad it is.

One of my favorite lunch spots! Really fresh, healthy ingredients. Cute little spot, friendly service. I always do a salad/sandwich lunch special.

I hate to be the party pooper, but I thought Souper Jenny Brookhaven was just about as good as the soup at a Whole Foods. But less convenient. Here’s the scoop on the soup: For years I have been hearing from ATL relatives how souper Jenny’s is. Raving. Shortly after I moved to ATL the SJ opened up in Brookhaven. It replaced a boring restaurant in the back of a very earnest organic/macrobiotic/vegetarian market. Thank goodness. I had tried once before to take Nonna to SJ in Buckhead but the line was out the door and curved through the parking lot. Really? So I took Nonna to Brookhaven SJ for a Saturday lunch. Taking a nonagenarian shaped my experience. 1. Access to the building for a lady in a walker was not easy. There’s no ramp into the building. 2. Once inside the store, I parked Nonna at a table(after I cleaned it myself) and waited in a very long line. A very long line. 3. The servers were souper friendly and helpful. Two kinds of soup, two kinds of pre-made sandwiches, salad, drinks from a cooler or a water cooler. Desserts wrapped up and waiting in the cooler. Nonna had a bowl of soup. I had a cup of soup and and a sandwich. The soup was fine. The sandwich was fine. But neither was worth the long wait in line with Jenny’s souper-fans. For all of you Canadians out there who love to write that a restaurant DIDNOTDISAPPOINT — my favorite compliment which is really not a compliment — my experience was that Jenny’s DIDDISAPPOINT. It did not live up to the hype. And I guess it couldn’t have. It was just about as good as soup from the buffet at Whole Foods, but a whole lot more expensive and with an inconveniently long line of adulators. The Whole Foods buffet is the standard I use for calibrating star power. If a restaurant is a every bit as good as Whole Foods, you get three stars. And that, dear Unilocalers, is Souper Jenny. A final note: as we were leaving I moved some empty chairs at the table between us and the walkway so Nonna could get by in with her walker. A woman at the table — you know who you are — reacted with the ferocity of momma bear protecting her cub. I had touched chairs she was guarding for people in line. Jeez, lady, relax. I was just helping a very senior citizen scoot by. Try to be just the slightest bit convivial.

They take credit cards! There were only four soups available today instead of the standard six they offer at the buckhead location. Be prepared to stand in line and possibly share a table with strangers– the space is limited. They have a large cooler stocked with cold-pressed juice, various take-home salads/meals, dips, Mary’s cake slices, BOGO quarts, and chicken bone broth! Did I mention they take credit cards?! Insider tip– park at the shuttered gas station across the street to avoid navigating the cramped parking lot. Five stars, Jenny! You’re always on point.

It was a cold and rainy day. But still, it was my birthday and my coworkers were insisting on taking me out to lunch. Unfortunately, so many of us are dieting and on some sort of weight loss challenge, so we could not go to the usual heavy eateries. I glanced through a few lighter options, and came to the conclusion of Souper Jenny. Souper Jenny is a small attachment to the health store next door. We walked in through the health store to near the Souper Jenny entrance. The line was already almost out the door, around 12PM. The daily menu was posted twice, once in the line and once at the food counter. There is an array of sandwiches, salads and soups. I ended up ordering the $ 14 lunch meal of soup and sandwich that also comes with a cookie, fruit, and drink. I ordered My Dad’s Turkey Chili, which is gluten free, and the ripe avocado pita with romesco, spinach, tomato and cucumber. The chili was hot and hearty, and surprisingly super filling. It was the obvious choice to me over the vegetarian soup options. The pita was refreshing and light, but once again super filling. I loved the iced green tea, which was unsweetened but heightened with mint. Agave was available to add to the tea, but I chose to avoid the additional calories. The chocolate cookie was perfectly chewy, although I would have preferred a little crisper on the outside of the cookie. I wish this were walking distance from work! This is a huge step up from the usual cafes around Buckhead. Worth the walk or drive it will take to get there for sure. Be sure to get there early to avoid your options running out fast.

Cute? Check. Healthy? Check. Tasty food? I am not on board. This is my second visit to Souper Jenny and the first at this location. During neither one of the visits did I think the food was actually tasty or would make me come back. It was just decent. I got their Spicy Coconut Lentil Soup this time. There was absolutely no spice in there, not sure why they gave it that name. It was very bland and the soup was barely warm. I like my soups served hot. After 5 minutes on the table, it was almost room temperature. The turkey sandwich wasn’t that great in my opinion, I could have made a tastier one at home and the bread on the sandwich was cold. Due to the«cute», healthy and location factors, this place is extremely popular with the Buckhead crowd. It gets so busy that finding a table may be a challenge, especially as you watch your soup cool down on the counter while waiting. The complimentary tea is a nice touch, but it’s clearly already factored into the high prices of the meal, so I wouldn’t go as far as calling it complimentary.

Great healthy food options that are fresh and delicious. I love the friendly staff too. Not as many food options at this location as the others, but still there is enough. Only 4 stars because $ 28 sandwiches and soup still seems a little steep, but its the feel good atmosphere along with healthy options that will keep me coming back.

Souper Jenny I could not love you more! Every soup I get is amazing… whether it is Miso Butternut squash or Dads Turkey Chili… they are all awesome. Salads are fresh, different with great dressing and sandwiches always hit the spot. I always get the green tea with mint too… and sometimes the cookie if I have been good! Thank you for coming to Brookhaven! Now all you need is more parking!

Great soup! Great salads! WAY too small for the crowd that was obviously unexpected. Parking is very difficult. One afternoon I was there when they ran out of all of their soups! They definitely need a bigger, permanent spot in Brookhaven.

Sad to say goodbye to Brookhaven Bistro, but Souper Jenny is a great replacement! For now, this place is in «pop-up» form. There are a couple of fresh sandwich and salad options, several soup options and then a refrigerated section that holds quarts of soups, pints of pimento cheese, organic fresh pressed juices and a take home dinner option, which was Chicken Tortilla Casserole. My lunch was a bowl of Lentil Soup with a little roll. The soup was flavorful, had plenty of tasty vegetables and had a hint of creaminess. I hope this becomes a permanent spot for Souper Jenny!!!

Souper Jenny is quite popular lunch spot in Buckhead, especially for the locals and others who work in that neighborhood. After hearing one of my friend raving about it for a while, I tried the food and came back impressed with how healthy & tasty their soup, salad and sandwiches are. But I live in Brookhaven, I don’t always feel up to driving to get my lunch(also, the mere though of having to drive past phipps and Lenox intersection tires me out — those who has driven on peachtree towards Buckhead would know what I am talking about. So naturally, I am happy that they have opened a pop-up shop in the ‘Nuts N Berries’ building. But at the same time, bit sad that this had to happen at the cost of closing brookhaven bistro — I loved their salmon quesadilla. However, if any joint that can fill the gap left by Brookhaven bistro, it would be Souper Jenny, with similar focus on healthy food and local ingredients. One thing to keep in mind is that this is just a pop-up shop, more like trial run to see how much business potential is in this neighborhood. So they have done some temporary renovations. And when I talked to the staff, they mentioned that the decision will be made about opening a permanent store here would be made in a month or so. They have been open here already for about a month now. For now, they have limited salads, sandwiches and soups for lunch. They also have some pre-packed salads, pimento cheese, some teas and variety of cakes. When I went their for lunch, it was packed! I had to park on the side of the street and as more and more people came, some even parked at the closed-shell gas station next door. So it’s good to see that they have some foot traffic. On that day, I wasn’t hungry much, so I just got myself a bowl of mushroom-barley soup($ 7), which is delicious and very filling. I didn’t feel hungry for a long time after that! But I have also tried their ‘Turkey chili’ and Cajun chicken soup from other locations. And by the way, I don’t care too much for their sandwiches, which usually borders between bland and boring. But that’s just me. But their cookies are sinfully good! Overall, I think ‘Souper Jenny’ is a nice addition to our neighborhood!
