I had the creamy lobster in baguettes… A menu item during the seafood and beer festival in Piedmont Park. The lobster and sauce was great and the baguettes were a nice touch, I only wish they were lightly toasted.

Though I am a fan of food truck cuisine, I tend to skeptical of any seafood dishes, but I am very happy to have tried their fried shrimp basket: the shrimp are lightly coated in cornmeal before being perfectly fried, not a smidge over-cooked. If we weren’t in land-locked ATL, I would guess these were fresh caught, that’s how delish they were. Served with yummy seasoned fries and cole slaw. Looking forward to trying a po’ boy next time.

I’ve recently fallen in love with New Orleans. I miss the food most of all. When I heard about a new denim-covered food truck in Atlanta truckin’ out some delicious po’ boys, I knew I had to give it a try. I finally had the opportunity today and was not disappointed. I wasn’t too hungry and it was mighty cold out, so I just tried the classic shrimp po’ boy. I made sure to ask if they would be at the food truck park today(since it was rainy) and they responded to my post within 15 minutes, which I really appreciate. The menu screen is a little bit high(I’m 5’7″ and had to get up on my toes to see the top items, maybe it was the glare), but other than that the service was great and my food came out quickly. They even offered to put foil on top to keep the sandwich warm while I walked back to my car in the cold. They had a wide variety of sauces, but I wanted to keep everything simple since it was my first time trying the food. The shrimp was juicy and not overly battered. Everything in the sandwich was super fresh and worked well together. I really enjoyed it! I loved the bread too. I will definitely be back for other specials.
