I have been going to Greg Harris at Richie Arpino for 13 years and he is AMAZING! It’s no wonder that Greg was voted Best Hairdresser in Atlanta by Atlanta Magazine. He works wonders! Every single time I go in, I leave 110% satisfied with my cut and color. The salon is beautiful! I can’t say enough about Greg! He is THE stylist you want and need. You can describe any cut and color to him and he nails it every single time! He is always up on the latest styles, trends, colors, etc. and will go the extra mile to see that you are happy & satisfied with your hair. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair cut and color and it’s all thanks to Greg & Richie Arpino Salon. I can’t imagine ever having anyone else do my hair or going anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment at Richie Arpino with Greg! You won’t regret it! You will LOVE the final result!!!

Such a great spot. No pretention, just good hairstylists and good energy. Saw the spot on Atlanta & Co where Richie reviewed the Golden Globes. Had to stop in and ended up staying the day. My hair looks, and feels, amazing!

I purchased the Brazilian blow out on Living Social and I didn’t know what to expect! I love my haircut and blowout by Casey. She had great experience coming from the LA market. Everyone is so nice, including Richie! It’s a very low key, cool place to spend a couple hours getting your hair done.

Love Richie Arpino Salon. The color and cut are always perfect and get better each time. Diana Paul does a fantastic job and the best part about it is the laughs we share when I am there. I get compliments on my hair on the daily. The entire staff is friendly and I feel at home when I am in the salon. Best Salon I have been to in my 33 years in Atlanta.

Where has KC been these last 20+ years?
I say this because I have had the same hairstyle, most likely my hair up in a bun since high school, basically. ok, so more than 20 years, but who is counting?
I have visited 3 different pretty known (and VERY pricey; –well, –2 of the 3) salons in the Atlanta area this last year and I have been pleased, — I must admit, –but never quite as thrilled and ecstatic as I have been after my experience with KC from the Richie Arpino Salon. Yes! I am so happy as I share this with you.
Okay, so I went in to see KC, was greeted by Richie, and immediately felt welcome, relaxed and comfortable. No attitudes or pretentiousness here.
So, I discussed my simple desires with KC. Maybe a simple trim and color to kind of brighten my hair up a bit. Nothing different, nothing too exciting.
But things took a turn for the best! KC recommended me stepping it up a bit and trying a deeper shade of my red rather than my «orangy red» (as she referred to it; –and yes– the truth sometines can hurt, lol.) and she cut a little more than I was used to (all over, –not just straight across as per my usual request) Well, I felt confident that she knew what she was doing and talking about so I just went with it and put my trust in her hands. Why not? I’m all about change lately!
Oh! Did I mention KC is so easy to talk to, so laid back, as well as pretty hilarious? — add those traits with her skills and she is pretty much the whole package! I can say confidently that I have found my permanent stylist. Period. Luv you, KC!
The best decision I could have made was letting KC do her magic. –And the end result? Color, cut, and fun! (I was feeling a bit Jackie O’ish on my drive home from the salon! –I’m serious! –check out the pics!) I am in love with my new do! I was feeling as though I had a major makeover and walked out of there on a natural high.
From plain to BAM! –in my personal opinion. Indeed!
Come in there and see for yourself. This was my best experience at a salon as of yet. (since my arrival to Atlanta this past year)
Oh! –and the price was considerably less than I am used to paying for mediocre simple work. I think they have some specials going on this month. You will not be disappointed.

I have been to this salon on numerous occasions. One time I came here for a cut and color. Richie Arpino cut my hair and the lovely Winnie did my highlights. I swear I walked out of there looking like Jennifer Anniston. It was perfect. The next time I came here, I wanted my hair done for my wedding. It was 40s themed and I walked out of there with the perfect hairstyle and makeup. I mean wow! I was looking fancy. Yes, they do makeup too. Overall, they’re the best in Buckhead. I always feel so «VIP» whenever I arrive. Love this place!

Arpino salon is a friendly… very down-​to-​earth environment with real people. Richie is an artist in every sense and genuine. I trusted Richie with my first major «cut» almost ten years ago… to amazing compliments, not to mention my own satisfaction.
After being away in various locations around the country for work, I came back to Richie’s new salon this weekend where he once again, worked his magic! I’ve been telling my friends for years… this is where to go for a style and cut that is customized to you:) you always come out looking and feeling like a million!
