Ryan was hands down my favorite hairstylist to date. He gives great feedback and direction while listening to your goals. I had «Pinterest» hair when I left. That’s a high compliment! I’ve definitely found my new hair guy.

I am always loyal to my hairstylists, I mean you don’t want everyone and anyone cutting and coloring your hair because you could end up half bald with orange hair. :-(
I choose a stylist and stick with them.
After I had to find a new stylist, I panicked, I had to find someone that would listen to my opinion know what styles, colors, and cuts I like and add their input. I want to be able to trust my stylist to give me what I want, but also add in their expertise when giving me updated looks.
A friend recommended Ryan Rumpel. I took a chance and I am so happy I did. Ryan is in a small salon in Buckhead. The location is great! Ryan told me it might be difficult to find, so he gave me detailed directions. My «directionally challenged» self actually found it the fist time. NICE!
I walked up the staircase into a small but charming salon. Ryan was still with a client but greeted me immediately and asked me to have a seat and relax while I waited.
Ryan was finished with his other client within 5 minutes, which was exactly on time for my set appointment. Ryan immediately sat down and started asking me what I was looking for in a cut and color. I showed him several pictures of hair styles and colors I liked, but told him I wanted to be able to give him the trust to pick the best option for my face structure & skin tone.
Ryan listened to everything I told him about what I knew I liked and didn’t like when it came to hair styles. He was detailed and made me aware of all costs so that I was able to know what I was going to get and not have «sticker shock».
I let Ryan take the lead with choosing my color and I am so happy I did.
My cut and color came are perfect!!! I am so happy Ryan was recommended to me. I am now his faithful client.
Just a few extra notes I think are great…
Not that the big salons aren’t great, but I love the attention I get from a small salon with a few stylists. Your stylist can become like family when you are with them for years, so I need to be able to trust my stylist as well as be able to talk to them.
Ryan chatted about his life and family and I discussed my life stories… I mean aren’t hairstylists basically therapists that make you look better?
I would highly recommend Ryan for women and men. He had a male client, that I believe is also a friend that came in for a quick haircut. Ryan was able to fit him in last minute and they discussed different men’s styles. I actually enjoyed listening to the different men’s hair styles… I learned something new.
So, ok guys, if you’re bald you won’t want to go here… but if you have hair, Ryan is your guy!
Ladies, trust me, Ryan is an amazing stylist and also a genuine person that loves what he does. He knows hair, knows styles, trends and what to do toile his clients look their best!
This is a small salon with a couple stylists doing their own thing. Prices are beyond low… I seriously laughed when he told me the cost for my cut and color, I actually told him «you’re kidding, right? That’s way too cheap», but Ryan was quick to say that he charges for services. I know exactly what that means, I’m not paying for the overhead and marketing of a large salon, I am paying the stylist for their services. That to me is what I want!
