So… basically, this is where you go pre/post driving experience. The good news is that the food, while pricey, is actually really good. The duck confit is SUPERB! Ditto on cocktails. Less thrilled w/dessert. Service is somewhat leisurely… but then again most people there are killing time before driving. Definitely a good option for a day of porscheing.

Experience is 5 stars, but food was more of a 3 star. Our Waitress, Karen was fantastic. We were a group of 8 and were celebrating early for Father’s Day. Our out of town Daughter had called ahead to surprise her Father with a gift certificate, which they handled beautifully. We enjoyed our view, over looking the Porsche track and the ATL runways. The restaurant has a nice wine list and fun, creative cocktails. I will return for the ambiance alone. 356 was very European, modern and minimalistic. Prices were a bit high for the quality of the food.

The view was amazing and the service was great. Felt a little rushed by our server and as though she kept trying to make us order more food.

Loved every experience that we had here. Yeah the food may be overpriced for what it is, but I think they have read some of the reviews here because if they made changes it’s noticeable, particularly if you’re concerned about portion size, which wasn’t a concern of ours. Service is superb, yeah we went for lunch, but it felt like we were being served dinner with plenty of attention paid to us. The view of the race track is entertaining. You have to make reservations on Open Table to dine here, so you can’t just pop in. Think of the price of admission as being included with your meal as you get to enjoy the rest of the center, explore their museum, and drool on all the cars as well!

The restaurant at the Porsche Experience Center. Requires a reservation to get past security. However worth the hassle to go here. What we liked: 1) Fine dining kind of restaurant. Very good service, really good food. 2) The food is excellent though not as authentic as their restaurant at the Porsche Museum Stuttgart. I had the curry wurst which wasn’t quite right but was tasty nonetheless. The tuna tartar was not very German but very good. 3) Service was very good 4) The view — you get to see Porsche’s racing on the track with airplanes taking off overhead. It’s pretty spectacular. 5) There are a lot of Porsche’s on display, ranging from the latest models, back to vintage models from the 50s, 60s and 70s. I just wish they had some decent 993s on display but sadly not.

My sister and I did the Porsche Experience and had lunch at Restaurant 356 afterwards. The food was very good, but the prices were ridiculous. I paid $ 22 for 3 scallops and 2 tablespoons of sauce. There was nothing else edible on the plate. We were still hungry after we left the restaurant so we stopped for lunch-part 2. Not going there again.

Great food and good portions! I was worried about the portion sizes because of the other reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. We had the mushroom risotto, Georgia peach salad and the soup of the day which were all excellent.

The service is spectacular, our meals were delicious. They have very good options for vegetarians. The only improvement they could make would be the bread, it was not fresh.

I came for lunch with a few friends and did a tasting menu so we could all try more dishes rather than just ordering our meals separately. We tried a lot of food and have to say everything was exceptional. The service was 5-star as well as the food, all of which came as expected, elegantly presented just like the Porsche standard. I look forward to going back and seeing if their steak is anything like Christophorus(Porsche’s famed museum restaurant in Stuttgart, Germany). Bön Appetit!

Great facility, nice staff, lovely food presentation. The prices are too high for the value received. Because I planned this outing for 4 people, I specifically called in advance to verify the price of the four course dinner. The same day, the hostess told me over the phone that, yes, they have a $ 60 four course. But 1 hour later when we arrived we were told their menu had changed and they no longer have a 4 course and their response was that we order more items. Well, I’m not ordering an extra $ 15 salad which, frankly, was nothing especial. The only two standouts were the crudo and the gnocchi which has now gone up to $ 26. I wish I hadn’t ordered the scallops; too sweet with the corn pudding. The pork dish and the salmon both seemed ordinary. It is a fun location but we probably won’t be coming back again for dinner. The ambiance, quality of dishes and price just don’t add up.

We dined here on a Saturday evening and had a wonderful experience. Restaurant 356 has superb ambiance: a sunset view of the airport(you can watch the planes take off) and the Porsche Experience track. The service is just lovely. I would agree with another reviewer that this restaurant is probably one of those reserved for special occasions. You should also know up front that it is best to order from the four course prix fixe menu, as our server said, «…to enjoy the whole dining experience.» If you do so, you won’t leave hungry! If you must order a la carte, I would suggest the scallops(from course two) and the risotto(from course three). Not sure how to categorize the type of cuisine, although you can definitely see the German influence. We particularly appreciated the locally farmed ingredients.

Interesting dining experience, you have to truly be a «foodie» to enjoy Restaurant 356. An experienced palate will be advantageous to you. You can be served a selection from their«Four Courses». The staff is very polite and welcoming. Once you make your initial visit, it wouldn’t be a spot you’d make a repeat visit unless you’re entertaining friends who are foodies. You’ll specifically love the ambiance of seeing the cars and being at the North American Porsche HQ.

Seriously don’t bother. If you want to maybe stop by before a flight for a drink feel free to do that. I went for brunch today and I feel ripped off. They only have like 5 things on the menu and the only beer they had was Bud Light. How can you not have SweetWater? The portions are awful. I spent $ 20 on Gnocchi and when I got the plate I almost started laughing. The 5 pieces I did have covered a quarter of the plate tasted very good. My wife got the shrimp and grits and she said hers was good as well. They also have no incentive to get better and cater to anyone outside of a Porsche corporate event. They have an unlimited internal money supply. If you plan on having dinner, have dinner at a nice place nearby and head over for a couple of drinks. I wouldn’t bother with the food unless you plan on doing the Prix Fix menu, which is not available on Sunday. They don’t have a beer or wine list so the one we did get was of course $ 14.00 as the bartender picked it. They really have some work to do, but no business incentive to get better. I am giving a two star because the food was good, but very expensive for what you get.

This restaurant took my Father’s Day lunch reservation a month ahead of time, through OpenTable, and even sent me reminders via email. I called and left messages twice ahead of Father’s Day to confirm as well, as I wanted to see if the Porsche museum would be open. Despite all of this, they never let me know, until just several hours before Fathers Day, that they indeed not be open at all. No apologies, no offers to make it up to me, and no concern for a possibly-ruined Father’s Day. None at all. I am a happy Porsche owner and have come to depend on their reliability. Apparently, this restaurant needs a lot of improvement to achieve that reputation.
