Delicious(feta and spinach) pie, sweet girl working the counter and Illy espresso. You eat their ‘pie’ like a burger: No utensils necessary. I wish I had this place near me!

The pies at Panburys are simply delicious! The fillings are moist and delicious… and the crusts are amazing! I would recommend to everyone. So far I’ve had 4 different pies… and i cant tell which one I like best. I cant wait till I try the rest!

Steak & stout pie — very tasty and very hot. Good quality beef chunks. Perhaps the filling is a little heavy but it is a meat pie, so it’s not going to be light fare. The crust makes the pie and Panbury’s is first rate. I did find the bottom dough a little tough to cut with a cheap plastic fork(it was too hot to eat out of hand at first), but that’s not how you’re supposed eat meat pies anyway. While not as much to my liking as a well-executed Aussie-style meat pie, the steak & stout is a solid choice. Spinach & feta pie — surprisingly good. I brought it home for my vegetarian spouse but stole a bit myself. If the idea of spinach and feta in a pie is your kind of thing, Panbury’s pulls it off quite nicely. The pie reheats well in a 350 degree oven without impairing the quality of the crust. Chicken & mushroom pie — my favorite so far. Advertised as a British-style pie(and it is), this is a chicken pie to rival Marie Callender’s(from the restaurants, not the frozen ones), except more portable. Unlike the steak pie, this one was not screaming hot, so I could pop it out of the tin and start munching right away, crust flakes falling all over the pace. As they should. Helpful folks at the counter. Panbury’s is definitely going on the rotation for DragonCon. Recommended.

«I’ll have the Shepherd’s pie.» — The Big Bang Theory, Season 4, Episode 24 I must say, Panbury’s is relatively consistent, but I do prefer this location to the SACM. First, all the pies were pipping hot, right from the case! Second, I feel like it is a bigger, and more organized selection. But. I am getting ahead of myself. My first Panbury’s experience was AOK as I didn’t know these were meant to be eaten by hand. After an education from the owner(post-review), I now know that even though these are served in a foil pan, you are meant to remove them from the pan and eat them with your hands. So you need to know this going in — you aren’t doing it right if your hands are not getting dirty! Since then, I have become quite the fan and odds are(especially in the cooler months), I am going to head to Panbury’s for my lunch. That crust and those fillings — I’m going to partake. This time around, I opted for something new. So I got the Black Pepper Beef and was not disappointed. Peppery and beefy with a good gravy inside, I was devouring every bite. The crust was nice a flaky and well heated all the was through. And yes, I used my hands. I also got a large sausage roll(you aren’t eating Panbury’s without getting a sausage roll) and a mini Apple Pie. The Apple Pie is a new favorite. Perfectly sweet and tart(a mix of sweet and sour apples inside, perhaps?), and that signature flaky crust — a great cap to my mid-week lunch. Nice work once again, Lauren. I’m not so sure if it is a good thing that you recognize me on sight when I walk into your shops, but just know I will keep coming back for more! Maybe offer those little wet wipe packets for post-dining hand-cleansing? 31⁄365

I have never met a cinnamon roll I didn’t like… until yesterday at Panbury’s. Don’t know if this is a new permanent item or if they were just trying out this item but it was not good. Too much crust, like maybe they used the same crust used with the pies? Not sweet at all, and almost no icing. It also was overcooked with a slight burnt taste. Chicken and mushroom pie: Lots of mushrooms and adequate amount of chicken. I liked the flavor of this pie, but there is sooo much crust. Think this will be my last visit. If you want a delectable chicken pot pie, walk down a few storefronts to Gibney’s and taste theirs. Delicious!!!

I work downtown, and while we occasionally make the trek over to Sweet Auburn Market, it’s not convenient for regular lunch excursions. So I was really excited when Panbury’s opened up in Peachtree Center. I have to admit that I have only tried the cracked black pepper steak pie. I keep telling myself I should try something else, but the cracked black pepper is so good I end up ordering it every time. It’s so flavorful and the meat is so tender and the crust is so flaky. The pies served up at Panbury’s are the perfect comfort food for the cold, rainy weather we’ve been having lately. The mashed potatoes and gravy are delicious too. I will echo what other folks have said about just picking up the pie and eating it with your hands instead of using a fork. It works much better that way. I do recommend a fork for the mashed potatoes and gravy though. The staff working the counter has always been friendly and efficient, and the location itself is a clean and sleek oasis among the dingy Peachtree Center vibe. And the bonus is that you get to support an independently owned restaurant in Peachtree Center instead of going to the same old chain restaurants all the time. Highly recommended(I might be eating a pie as I write this).

I was so impressed with Panbury’s. I got the spinach and feta pie with the tomato soup, and loved every bite. The tomato soup might be the best I’ve ever had! If you have to eat at Peachtree Center, go to Panbury’s!

These pies are absolutely delicious. The crust is so flaky and buttery and it is baked to perfection. The pie filling(I tried the Green Thai Chicken Curry) has the perfect sauce to ingredient ratio and the combination of flavors was awesome. Try the gravy – it is literally the best gravy I’ve ever had. This isn’t a light meal so just make sure you’re hungry and you will be a happy customer. It was well worth trying and I will be back to try the other variety of fillings they have to offer. These are a must for anyone at Peachtree Center – finally a place to eat on your lunch break that is unique and tasty!

People, if you have to eat at the black hole that is Peachtree Center, you must check this local establishment out! Expanding upon from their OG location at Auburn Market, this addition to Peachtree Center is a Godsend. Their wide variety of savory South African pies is neatly displayed in clean cases(check out that health score of 99 — BOOM!) and service is quick and friendly. I’ve tried a variety of pies myself, and my favorites are the Green Thai Chicken Curry Pie(it sounds random but if you like coconut milk and lemongrass — this is for you) and the Cracked Black Pepper Steak Pie(no, not Asian pepper steak, but South African slow braised beef). And don’t forget a side of mash! Holy cow — that gravy. Amazing. It’s only been open in Peachtree Center for a couple of weeks now and when I went last week, the line for Firehouse subs next door was out of control with SEC folks in town, but seriously, skip the boring subs and try Panbury’s instead. Your belly will thank you.

A diamond in the rough! I really enjoyed the chicken & mushroom pie and the mini apple pie is one of the best I’ve had(sorry mom).

Exceptional addition to the downtown area. Skip the fork and knife and just pick the pie right out of the mini foil tray with both hands and dig in. For $ 7 it’s easily the most authentic food in Peachtree center. The pies might look small, but once it’s out of the shell and in your hands, and you take your first bite, you realize it’s going to fill you up. I’ve tried most of the pies and they’re all delicious. Always warm. Always flaky. Always satisfying. The flavors are authentic. It’s the quintessential comfort food. The Jamaican beef pattys are also quite tasty and filling, and only $ 3.

The pies were smaller then I thought. But really good. A little pricey. But a satisfying snack.
