Where do I start? The items sold here are way over priced for the stingy portion size and even worse, the taste is just as small as the dessert you’ll get. Just skip it and try something else. I tried the cup of cocoa, which despite the description, had as much flavor as cocoa with too much milk, the plus the whipped topping was not real cream and was way too sweet. This place is a fad that needs to go away, and Atlanta needs another entrepreneur to come along to provide some truly tasty cheesecakes that are worth the calories.

Cheesecaked is an interesting concept, it’s mini cheesecakes sold in cupcake liners making it a perfect portion size and so darn cute. My wife found them on Unilocal and decided we HAD to go even though we were still stuffed from our dinner at Gus’ world famous chicken which is in the same mall: Peachtree Center. If you’ve ever been inside this mall you know that it’s like stepping back in time. The mall reminds you of malls in the mid-80s(at earliest). It was pretty deserted when we were there as I suspect it is on most days. We got on the escalator outside of Gus’ and tried to find the counter but at first we were unable to. We walked around and around and around and saw no sign of it. Finally, we found it. It was a small little counter that looked almost too modern and almost out of place in the out-dated mall.(**HINT** Coming from Gus’: Once you get off the escalator, immediately turn left and after a few steps look right and you’ll see it.) When we walked up, I was hit with an explosion of pink, cutesy and«girly-ness» that was overwhelming to me who’s nothing of the sort but my wife loved it and I kept thinking my 7year old niece would too. We met the owner, who was behind the counter, along with an assistant, greeting customers, offering information on the events going on around town that weekend and just being really sweet and friendly. When she saw me taking a ton of pics, she guessed I was a Unilocaler and of course she was thrilled. She handed me a handheld menu so that I could get a better shot rather than taking a pic of the one on the wall. LOL. Their menu was extensive(cheesecakes, cookies, cakes and other things) and everything looked amazing but, like I said, we were so stuffed that we opted to just share one small cheesecake cup. We ordered the French toast with bacon although I’m not sure that’s the actual name. First of all, the packaging was delightfully cute complete with a little faux-silver spoon placed inside. It was so adorable we didn’t even want to eat it but we were glad we did. Not everyone can get cheesecake right, it has to be the perfect amount of sweet and tart and it’s easy to mess up – Cheesecaked however did a fantastic job. The texture was smooth and melt-in-your-mouth, not too soft and not too firm. This particular flavor was a bit heavy on the maple syrup taste for me. That flavor is so strong that it was almost over-powering at first but then the cinnamon and candied bacon on top balances everything out so I ended up really enjoying it. I’m sure we’ll be back to try another flavor soon. The creativity of the concept and décor, along with the customer service and overall taste was a WIN. However, I’d like to make two small recommendations that might make a huge difference. 1) I think that they should scale back their menu just a tad. I’m a big fan of doing a FEW things and executing them really well rather than taking on so much. And It’s actually pretty overwhelming to the customer to see 1000 options on a menu. 2) The second thing is, they really need to place a sign at each entrance of the mall. We almost gave up looking for them and were on our way back to the car when we realized we’d actually passed them a of couple times on our quest. This is an easy fix with just one well placed sign to the left of the escalator when you’re coming up from Gus’ and another at the other entrance. Otherwise, keep up the good work Cheesecaked!

Really delicious cheesecake with super friendly service. I had the cookies and cream ‘party size’, which was just right. Highly recommend to quell a sweet tooth or just because.

My parents and I were eating lunch in Peachtree Center and I figured this was a perfect opportunity to try out Cheese Caked since I had just read about their opening. They, of course, offer mini cheese cakes. However, I was really looking forward to the banana pudding one which was not in stock that day. The staffer told me that I could always call ahead and see if a particular item was available. Upon her recommendation, I decided to try the red velvet cake since she said it was the best she ever had. Ummm… not so much. If that’s the best red velvet she’s had, she needs to get out and try more red velvet cake. I thought it was just OK. But thankfully not bad. The size was adequate and I was able to polish it off even after just having lunch.
