«It’s just we’re putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that’d be great. All right!» — Office Space(1999) Sometimes you just need office supplies so you go to the nearest store. Seriously, I’m not sure this store has any employees. My brother and I wandered without anyone stopping us to offer help and we finally found what we needed — white boards. I looked at all the options and were actually back there for 10 minutes trying to make a decision — still no interaction from anyone and not even a soul to be seen. We made our decision and walked to the checkout. The guy at the checkout didn’t really acknowledge me — he answered the phone, he spoke into his ear piece and mentioned he couldn’t talk more because he had a customer and looked annoyed. He rang up my items — never asked for my Max Perks card — and I paid. He might have said thank you, but he was so uninterested in speaking to me, looking me in the eye or even being there — I doubt it. I’ll try not to come here again and will go to Staples or Office Depot instead.

My experience here has always been fine. I just left this business a short while ago and was able to get what I needed done. I went there actually somewhat still upset about some bad customer service I received from a company earlier in the day… anyway, I was helped by an employee there. a young lady. that was very considerate and sweet. I left feeling a lot better. Any customer service that can do that gets 5 stars from me.

While my experience does not seem to have been as negative as those of my fellow Unilocalers, I still was not impressed by either the service or the navigability at this Office Max location. My only trip into this location was a little after 10:30am on a weekday morning this past week and I do not believe that there was at any point more than one other customer in the store in addition to myself. This being the point, I would have hoped that one of the numerous employees who seemed to be doing their own thing would have taken notice of the fact that I wandered around for at least ten minutes or so looking for a small metal o-ring that I was convinced they must carry. None of the signs or aisle-labels helped me to actually find what I was looking for and not until I was actually in an employee’s path did anyone address my query. Now, once I was actually acknowledged, the gentleman who had stumbled across me was very nice and pointed out exactly where the item was that I was looking for; I wish he had found me searching earlier! In the future I will probably go to the nearby Target or to the Staples at Prado for my office/work-related needs and for electronic support and supplies I will continue to visit Best Buy. I know this is probably a very convenient location for many people who live in the area, but for someone who lives closer into Buckhead there are just too many more helpful and well-stocked locations to utilize.

Seriously this has to be one of the worst Office Max locations that I’ve dealt with. The employees here are not only rude as the previous reviewer stated, but very incompetent as well. We needed some ink cartridges refilled and called this location to see if they could refill them for us. On the phone they didn’t know if they could and said we’d have to bring them in to see if they could. So we drove down to this location and they agreed to fill our ink cartridges for us. Once they started trying to fill the cartridges the one employee had to call over another employee for help, who in turn called another employee over, who yet again called another employee over which I think actually knew what she was doing. And we thought it would be a quick in and out. While waiting for all the employees to finish the refilling the cartridges we wondered over to the new ink cartridges and noticed that they were actually cheaper than the refills. You would have thought that the employees would have known this and recommend that we buy new ink rather than refill; when new cartridges are going to run around $ 40, but they want $ 60 to refill them. Anyway after we saw this we told them to stop trying to refill the cartridges and called them out of charging more for the refills than they do for new. We ended up buying the new cartridges and promised ourselves that we’d never grace this store with our presence again.

My business was turned away because I was a student! Seriously– I called in one morning to ask about presentation boards, and what the turnaround time was to print them. I spoke with Jim… and he is either not a morning person or not a people person because he wasn’t so pleasant to deal with on the phone. I called and asked him—«Hey my name is Megan and I go to such and such college and I need some presentation boards printed up. About how long is the usual turnaround time for those?» He responded with a dry«Well our machine is down and I have several students from that school that I have had to deal with… you might want to try somewhere else.» So I told him to have a nice day… but for real my dude? You couldn’t just leave it at I’m sorry our machine is down? Lame.
