Great affordable healthy food options! The staff is always friendly. The salmon with the mango salsa topping is my fav! This is one of many locations, but I frequent this location quite often!

Waste of money. My girlfriend and I ordered the tilapia with zucchini and quinoa salad. Everything except for the salad tasted like cardboard. The salad was abysmal as it carried a roller coaster of sour flavors that did not go hand in hand with each other. You’re better off going to Tin Drum across which is well worth the money. This place has an identity crisis.

Met up with a friend for lunch around 1(parking was a nightmare and I forgot since I live less than 5 minutes from here) and had an overall good experience. After getting pissed off over parking, I ordered the Salmon, rice and corn/black bean mix. I didn’t like that a drink didn’t come with the order but I settled for water. I wasn’t about to spend $ 2 and change when they pay pennies to have/service the machine. I didn’t realize that I had to pick out my own silverware until after my food arrived. I have OCD issues with the utensil ordeal bc some lady kept touching a bunch of them and she probably didn’t wash her hands! Next time I’ll just ask for plastic. My friend and I sat outside after initially sitting inside because 1. The weather was amazing and 2. Some females were sitting a table next to us staring us down as if we owed them child support. Back to the food, the salmon was moist and rice was not salty at all which surprised me however, the black bean/corn concoction was in a separate dish, sitting on the plate since it was cold… once again my OCD-contamination issues had an issue with this. I would definitely return to try their chicken with all hot sides and plastic utensils :)

I hadn’t been here in SO long! I had been getting cravings and i happened to be in the area so i swung by. I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi with no topping and the grilled zucchini. Got my food quickly and it was as good as i remembered. I’m only giving them 3 stars because you can make this at home. Nothing special.

Very friendly staff and great food. Salmon was well seasoned, flaky, and tender. The rice was just the right texture and very flavorful. The zucchini had a decent grilled flavor. The pineapple salsa was sweet and spicy. So glad I stopped by… I’ll definitely be back!

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this place is mad dope. Killer chicken and the sauces drape over it like a warm, heated snuggie. It was super good and the flavor was exploding in my mouth much like how Mt. Vesuvius exploded over Pompeii. Definitely recommend and I’ll probably go back soon.

Love this place! Prices are a little high, but the food is always really good. The grilled tilapia and zucchini are amazing! Rice is also great. I get the piri piri mushroom as my topping and for the first time, they put it on top of the fish as a opposed to in a bowl on the side today. The only problem with this was that I love the mushroom topping, but it is a little too spicy for my tastes and with it not being the side, I couldn’t control how much was on the fish at all. It was still all yummy, I just had to take a bite of the zucchini or take a sip of water to recover from the spiciness! My mom got the fish and chips and she said they were really good; lightly breaded and fried. And for the first time, this place did not pile on the french fries, so it actually looked like she ate some of them! :)

Great alternative to fast food. Clean atmosphere and casual setting for a large group. Our food was quickly prepared and enjoyed our food. The medium piri piri sauce had the perfect kick! Unfortunately the lobster bisque was not all that and the saltine crackers were stale. Kids eat free and my son enjoyed his chicken tenders and fresh salad. Give them a try for yourself.

I really like the taste of the food here. It seems to be just a little bit overpriced for the portion sizes you get. Luckily I came here with a deal. The grilled salmon with pineapple salsa and grilled mahi mahi are both terrific options. We got it with grilled zucchini and corn on the side. Everything tasted great. The only thing I wish was for the portion sizes to be a little bigger because I usually leave feeling a little bit hungry still. I believe both times I’ve come here, I leave asking my wife what we should get for dessert, and I usually don’t ask that question unless we’re getting it at the restaurant itself.

The best fish that is not fried. My favorite, grilled tilapia with sautéed mushrooms and seasoned fries!

I came here for lunch one day with a co-worker since there is an active Scoutmob for it. I have never been to a casual seafood-based restaurant so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. When you enter, you go up to the counter and place your order then they will bring out your food to you once it is ready. The menu has a variety of options from chicken to fish to shrimp but mainly seafood. Most of the entrees come with a side or two for about $ 10 or a little more. I decided to get tacos since I could get different types and try them all out. I ordered a fish, shrimp, and chicken taco with black bean/corn as my side. They are know for the Piri Piri sauce which comes on some of the items but also have bottles next to the soda machine. There’s a few different kinds ranging from mild to hot in terms of spice. Within a few minutes, our food came to us and I actually received rice with my tacos as well so that was a nice surprise. The tacos themselves were filled with cabbage instead of lettuce and seemed to take up the majority of the room which was not proportional to the actual meat/seafood inside. My favorite had to be the shrimp taco as the chicken was bland and the fish was just ok. The Piri Piri sauces added a nice touch to bring some extra flavor. My meal would have cost a little more than $ 10 at regular price but with a Scoutmob it was a steal. It’s a little pricey for the quality for the food but I guess you are paying for seafood which tends to be more expensive. I definitely had enough food and it was a quick, casual lunch meal but won’t be added to my list of regular lunch spots. It will be more of a once in a while kind of a thing, but not bad for my first time there.

Perimeter Mall is filled with great shopping and eateries. Boneheads is one my many favourites for its flame grilled and healthy fare. All their appetizers are deep Fried so if you must share something at the table; you can always get the three(or two, like we did) taco combo that is decent and not fried lol. Let me tell you, the fish taco was amazing, slightly spicy red sauce with lime and cabbage, delicious! The chicken one was very good too. Rainbow trout, piri piri ½ chicken and grilled chicken breast come flame Broiled and basted with your choice of sauce, I liked the lemon pepper with a dash of hot sauce for mine. Sides of chilled broccoli, corn on the cob or cilantro slaw are tasty and most of all, very healthy. They give you a number right after you order and while you get drinks and cutlery from the beverage counter, the food is brought out to the table very fast. The people behind the counter are friendly. This is a fast casual quick service restaurant serving healthy, low carb, low fat, wholesome food; keep It going, Boneheads!

Love this place. Very heathy options. Catfish sandwich, Mahi Mahi and Tilapia all good! I go here often. Sometimes Groupon have deals for different locations. The food is very reasonable priced! This is a must try, I fly here frequently.

…another visit to one of ATL’s many restaurants. Called in our order before they opened. They promised it would be ready by noon. We got there and still had to wait. Ee only had 45 minutes for lunch so that wasn’t the best experience. The young lady, Natasha, was super nice. The portions were HUGE and I got the Salmon salad. I may go back but I would try on the weekends or dinner. They were way to busy to handle our needs effiently.

All these years, I have never tried boneheads, but when I saw a Groupon for it, I thought: why not? Well, it wasnt so great. The flavors fell flat and it took 20 – 30 minutes to get my to-go order(and they explained that there was only one guy in the kitchen.) This is a very busy area and for rush hour, they were SO ill prepared. The cashier girl was very nice though. I had the salmon plate and it was so dry. The rice was okay but it was so sloppy and kept sticking to the wax paper. The salad was nothing special. I also had the half chicken and most of the skin was burnt. There was hardly any flavor and it was also very dry. The rice on my plate was so little that it was so unsatisfying. There were more rice on the salmon plate than a half chicken plate. I had the grilled zucchini, and although that was my favorite part of the whole thing, it still couldve used better seasoning… it was just bland! Anyway, all in all, the whole thing was $ 22. I wouldnt pay that much for this kind of food. I would much rather go to pollo tropical or pay just a little bit more to eat at an actual restaurant.

My family and I were in Atlanta for a wedding and we decided to eat near the Perimeter Mall. We found Bonehead’s on Unilocal and decided to try it out. Bonehead’s is a fast casual restaurant where you order your food at the counter and they give you a number and bring it to your table when it’s ready. I ordered the grilled salmon with a topping of black beans and corn. My side was grilled sweet potatoes, which was an excellent choice. My husband got grilled Mahi Mahi with seasoned fries and my daughter got fried chicken tenders with fries. They brought out my daughter’s food first as soon as it was ready so she didn’t have to sit and wait(yay!). The rest of our food followed shortly after hers. It was nice and hot and cooked perfectly. The fish wasn’t super great quality but it was a good value for what we paid(~$ 10/plate). I would eat here again.

I always thought this was an expensive, sit-down seafood place so I was surprised that it’s a casual place. FOOD: For dinner I got the Combo Tacos which is choice of 3 tacos which is sautéed and lightly seasoned with a touch of fresh citrus, Piri Piri spice and finished with spiced sour cream and cilantro slaw. Choose From: Tilapia, Shrimp, Chicken) I had the fish and shrimp tacos with Seasoned Fries which is crispy fried and seasoned with Boneheads Spice. The tacos were spicy but bland. The fries were not seasoned. Overall, it was edible but not satisfied.

Um can you say DELICIOUS! I’ve never written a review before and I’ve had this app for over 5 year AND I eat a lot! But this place is so good I had to write something. The atmosphere is a nice combination of a carry out and sit down restaurant. They bring your food to you and the presentation is beautiful. I got the fish sandwich(salmon) it was so good! Very flavorful even though it was very simple. I had a side of grilled zucchini which was also full of flavor and cooked beautifully. It’s a bit on the expensive side but the food is quality and the portion sizes are very filling. I don’t mind paying for good quality food so it wasn’t a problem for me. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here. I wish we had these in Chicago! :)

The Fish Taco are Grrrrrrreat! My son and I decided to try this place while out and about, and I must admit this place is a-ok with me. I love grill food and this was right up my alley. Since this was my first visit, I ask the cashier for suggestions, she said the Salmon, the mahi mahi and the tilapia were the best sellers. I was super interested in trying the salmon but my heart lead me to the grilled tilapia, and a great choice it was. The tilapia came with rice, and I had an option of one other side item, I chose the beans and corn mix, but asked if they could heat it up(it was served cold). My son ordered the 3 taco combo, and since his taste buds have matured a bit he actually wanted to try all three tacos that were offered… the fish, the chicken, and shrimp– lol. we were both impressed with the fish taco. yum The cashier was great with her recommendations, everything was delish!!! I would like to give special props to Juan, the shift leader on duty for that day, he went far and beyond!!! Thank You!!!

While Boneheads may not appeal to everyone, I’ve had many good meals here(it’s within walking distance from my office) — I think of it a s a step-up from fast food. You order at the counter and the food is brought to the table. Make sure you grab a bottle of the extra spicy piri piri sauce. Generally I either get the half-chicken or a piece of fish, with the grilled zucchini side. I’ve tried both the fish tacos(tasty!) and the shrimp-and-grits and have liked them both. I’ve also ordered take-out from Boneheads and the food arrives relatively hot, fresh and quickly. I think they do a good job on the grilled fish — the chicken has been slightly inconsistent, sometimes over/under-done but still very passable. I usually pull off the skin then add more piri piri — love the flavors in that stuff. I pass on most of the sides(have had the salad, the Asian slaw and a citrus salsa — all were passable but be careful of the cilantro if that’s not your flavor). I think they do the best job on the salmon and tuna — haven’t had very good luck on the mahi(tends to be dry). Also, the portabella sandwich was tasty if you’re looking for a veggie option. Parking is off the«street» that flows between this large complex’s buildings and can be a bit of a challenge. There are many spaces across the street and behind that building, in front of the bank — there’s also a deck in the back corner near Outback Steakhouse if you don’t mind walking. The rest of the restaurants in this complex are a bit iffy — nothing to write home about(with the exception of Flemmings if you want to spend the bucks) but if you’re nearby and need a bit at least there’s some variety.
