We had new year day brunch with 25 of our friends. They have a prefix brunch menu that included eggs Benedict and traditional breakfast. Nancy and her stuff did a fabulous job serving and making our brunch a wonderful experience.

This all bistro has a tasty menu. They also offer a weekend brunch. At first I thought it looked pricey, but the portions are generous. You can expect good service too. I loved the bleu cheese chips! The only thing is I was not comfortable in the chairs.

Food was GREAT! Service awesome! Will definitely eat there again. I had the burger and my son had the trout although I didn’t taste the trout he loved it. Wanted to try the banana pudding but I was stuffed, huge burger!

Dependable but a little on the boring side. When I go out I want to feel like someone else’s cooking for me but too often I feel like my invisible twin has cooked a meal and brought it out to me. Really no difference then when I can make it home just a higher price. Service is conscientious but a little on the slow side. The menu is standard and rarely offers anything out of the ordinary. If you want a dependable, fairly boring, but reliable decent meal this place is for you. If you want something extravagant, exquisite or unusual I would recommend somewhere else.

The pimiento cheese and fresh pita is really tasty. I had a burger and it was fine(a little tall – I hurt my jar trying to get a bite – but that’s a weird thing to complain about, so I won’t), as were the accompanying sweet potato fries. But we also ordered a Greek salad with added-on shrimp, and I gotta tell you, for $ 6 extra, I expect more than four shrimp. The resulting salad was very frankly not worth $ 16. The service was decent, maybe a little bit slow. There was something about the solemn bustle of staff that felt somehow unwelcoming when we arrived, and made me uneasy. It may have been that there were a lot of people running around the staff areas looking stressed, but they were dressed in very casual street clothes, which kinda made it seem like everyone around me might work there. Even as I’m writing this, it sounds like it shouldn’t be an issue, but it was weird not being able to identify front-of-house staff. I might go back, but I really am disappointed about that salad. Four shrimp! So all in all, a sad salad, a burger and fries, a cheese appetizer with one pita, and $ 5 kid’s mac and cheese with green beans came to a $ 40 lunch before tip. I think if I go again it’ll be for dinner, and I’ll really study up on other reviews to find out how to order better. After all, other reviewers have loved it, so there must be some great stuff on the menu somewhere.

What a great find! Wonderful atmosphere, service, and food. We will be frequent patrons!!! Maybe the best fried green tomatoes I’ve had. Loaded with goat cheese and pecans… yum! Everything was«delish».

Southern food with southern hospitality. I took my dog out for an evening walk while I pondered what to get for dinner. I stopped to read the menu on the window and a nice lady invited me to try their doggie menu in their outside dining area. I had a wonderful salmon blt and my puppy enjoyed the bowl of chicken. Took the pecan pie home — it has butterscotch and delicious pecans. I will make sure to take my puppy on more evening walks in Nancy G’s Direction.

I went here for dinner a couple of days ago and the dinner was ok but the waitress was not good at all. Kinda rude. I had herb chicken. The food was good especially the macaroni and cheese. The upsetting thing was, they were out of biscuits and they said they weren’t going to make any more. It was 7:45 and they close at 10 pm. They don’t make enough food for their normal hours of operation and barely make it through their dinner times. Highly disappointed because that’s what we went there for.

Best kept secret in town. Makes me wonder why anyone would ever wait in line at other trendy brunch places. Nancy G’s doesn’t disappoint. The salmon BLT is amazing and the wedge salad w/a homemade fried chicken breast on top hits the spot. Oh yeah, they also have a puppy menu for your furry friends! I almost don’t want to post this to draw any attention to this great place since it’s right down the street from our house.

A hidden gem in Buckhead/Sandy Springs! This place is down-home cozy with top notch food and service. From the delicious house salad to the homemade fried chicken, there is something on the menu for every palate. They also have a great bar AND… an amazing patio with a PUPPYMENU. So many great things to say about this neighborhood treasure but you should really just try it for yourself.

Charming and delicious! Love this place– and can’t believe I hadn’t tried it before a few days ago. Late-ish dinner, about 9, on a weeknight. Very pleasant, and good, service from Virginia and a nice greeting and then goodbye from Nancy herself. The food was great. We got the trio to start — the spinach dip was my fave, their homemade pimento cheese is very good and the(warm!) pita type wedges that come with are just delicious. For entrees, one chicken Caesar which was a simple classic, nicely done. The other two of us got the night’s special, chicken Marsala — and Virginia was clever enough to get the kitchen to split it for us so we both got a full«presentation!» It was wonderful, and the just right chicken went just right with roasted red potatoes and sauteed zucchini and squash(note– we don’t like carrots and were able to get the other night’s veggie special without them — which tells me their portions of vegs are not pre-sorted which is cool). I’d describe the menu as… things I’d like to eat over the course of a week. A good sandwich here, a nice salad there, meat or fish entrée a couple times for dinner. .. works for me. I will be back soon to try some of the things pictured by other Unilocalers! OH, and Luke will come with me to be treated to things off their doggie menu! Win win all around.

I am 50 – 50 on this place. The lady who seems to be the owner(probably Nancy) is very nice and will go out of her way to assist you and your party with anything to make your experience better. She is very concerned with the details of the service and gaining you as a loyal repeat customer. Her rating is 5 stars… Then there is the guy who books parties. He is very moody and not interested in customer service as he will tell you off at the drop of a hat if he is not satisfied with his experience dealing with you… which is backwards as he is the service provider. He seems a bit bi-polar as he can be nice but will not hesitate to argue and yell at you. His rating is ZERO. Then there is the food and atmosphere which should be the center of attention always. Everything I tried was good from the sliders to the signature pimento cheese. The location is very quaint and everyone is friendly. This rating is 4. So my rating average is 3 due to the one issue that probably will keep us from doing business with these guys again unfortunately.

Nancy G’s is a little bit of Southern hospitality on Roswell Road. We came here for brunch on Sunday morning. The staff was super friendly. We were promptly seated and brought fresh, hot coffee and delicious mini peach and apple muffins. I had the omelette special with tomatoes, bacon, cheddar cheese and green onion. It was pretty good. My side of grits was decent. My husband had the French toast which he said wasn’t cooked all the way through. Maybe the chef let it soak too long but the toast was definitely still gooey in the middle. We were starving and on a tight timeline so he just scarfed it without complaining. In total plus tax and tip we paid $ 37 for our breakfast entrees plus 2 coffees. Minus 1 star for the price, and another star for the gooey toast. We might give this place another shot because the folks here were so nice.

Nancy G’s has friendly staff and a great dog friendly patio. Occasionally there is entertainment on the patio which makes for a fun relaxing evening. I usually have fish tacos and sweet potato fries and my husband always goes for a burger which he always says is good, not great. It’s a friendly neighborhood place with good, not great food that you can bring your dog to.

This place is cute and cozy. Just had lunch there with a friend. I love that they have an express menu with lots of options if you’re in a rush and gotta run back to work. The prices on the express menu are great too($ 7 – 8). I got the Turkey Reuben with sweet potato fries. The fries are a piece of heaven, apparently they are known for these. The Reuben was yummy and a generous lunch portion. My friend had the fried green tomato, bacon sandwich and she thought it was yummy too. Overall the wait staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. A great lunch spot if you’re in the area and in the mood for Southern/American food. I saw other options such as Shrimp and Grits,(note to self, try this next time).

Puppies loved the patio — doggie menu was AWESOME — they loved it, and only $ 4… Human food was just OK, but I only tried the fried green tomatoes and the chicken and corn chowder — looking forward to trying more Staff was GREAT — attentive service to 2 and 4 legged guests!

Tonight was my 1st visit. Fried green tomato appetizer was AH… MAZING! Every bite was pure heaven. We ordered the special for dinner. Server called it «tuna tacos»… Not what we expected at all. It was more like a burrito and the tuna was cooked… Over cooked maybe… It just sounded so much better than it was. Will we go back? Probably not but it was a decent dining experience!

It’s ok. The shrimp and grits were ok, not great, but ok. The reason it’s getting three stars is because one time I ordered a burger with tater tots to go. I swear the tater tots smelled like fish. I don’t know if they made them in the same oil as fish, but I couldn’t eat them. Also, I think it’s a bit too expensive for the quality of the food. Very nice people working though.

I was with the group of eight that went to Nancy G’s for Sunday brunch unannounced and was seated without a wait. Angela M. chose the venue after consulting where else, but Unilocal.Nancy G’s is located in the same shopping center as Pig-N-Chik and shares the same parking lot as Kroger. This restaurant has a classy down-home Southern feel to it. Some of the dining areas have furniture and décor that resemble and make you feel like you’re dining in someone’s living room. Their brunch is offered Saturday and Sunday only and goes all the way until 3pm. The brunch menu isn’t too complicated and offers all the standard Southern brunch staples including eggs and omelets, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast, and chicken and waffles. Popular sides include grits and tater tots. This is definitely some brunch comfort food. They have a variation on the grits, which includes bleu cheese. I didn’t try it, but one of my tablemates tried it and enjoyed it. I ended up ordering the sausage and gravy(buttermilk) biscuits with two scrambled eggs and cheese grits. The portion sizes at Nancy G’s are large and I struggled to put my entire dish down. I’m not sure if anyone else finished their plates and we all came hungry. I thought the food was just okay. The biscuits were large and a bit hard and dry. There wasn’t enough gravy for all the biscuit. The eggs and grits were good. I had the eggs scrambled and they were solid and not runny. In addition, I sampled some of my friends’ French toast and tater tots. The French toast was deliciously stellar, but the tater tots were all tot and no tater. It was just like eating deep-fried breading. Our server was Thunder and she was great. Separating checks for our mixed group(singles and couples) was not a problem. She even wrote her name on the paper tablecloth for us(upside-down) so we wouldn’t forget. The rest of the staff was friendly and accommodating. Nancy G’s is family and kid-friendly.
