The food warranted 4 stars easily, the flavor was good and the naan was fresh. The problem came with the service. It was a slow time of day so there was just one person in front of me in line. The two employees were joking with each other and seemed to be in a pretty good mood! It was my first time here so I was looking at the menu trying to figure out how it worked. Unfortunately, I was looking at the catering menu(which was all over the counter so I grabbed one thinking it was their normal menu). Once I was about to order I realized my mistake and asked for a second to figure out how their real menu worked. There was no one behind me and I wasn’t causing any type of hold up. The girl counter loudly stated“I said, can I help you?!” as I spoke with my husband about what to order and then was clearly annoyed that we didn’t have it all figured out. I almost walked out but really wanted to give this place a try. I am disappointed in their customer service.

Not really a fan. Tastes like fast food Indiana– chipotle style. But just because it’s «fast food» doesn’t mean it needs to lack flavor. It Wasn’t spicy and delicious.. Ok for a quick bite. And my service… The guy helping me was so unpleasant. I won’t be back

I am revising my revised review of NaanStop. I recently had a couple of bad wait experiences, but the owner’s quick response and apparent concern for the service at NaanStop demonstrates a concern for the success of the restaurant. I always find the food to be consistently delicious. Whether or not it’s authentic Indian is irrelevant(not that I would know the difference). I know that when I crave NaanStop, it will be tasty. I wish Neal and the NaanStop team much success.

The place will encourage you to try different entrees. Try to up sell you because the lamb is so good he said. Told me it would only be a 3 $ addition. I ordered a 7 $ entrée that turned into 14 $. I tried to explain to the lady at the register. She could not do math very well. The guy that encouraged me to try the lamb chimed in and said yes we owe him .50 cents. People are one of a kind.

So this is our first time trying Indian food and were very impressed. I know this is probably more of a «fast food» type of indian food but I liked it none the less. We had the Samosa which I loved. 2 naanwich’s the Kabob and the lamb both yummy but I preferred the Kabob the best and some Masala fries. Very tasty.

Solid 3.75 for me. I popped by for a quick lunch in between meetings with a taste for something good, and a free samosa via Unilocal burning through my pocket. Upon entry, my immediate assessment was, «This is Indian Chipotle.» In many ways, it is: you start at one end, choose your delivery format(rice bowl, wrap, with or without naan, etc.), then your protein(multiple offerings including your standard/expected ones, both animal and otherwise), and toppings(veggies and chutneys). I opted for a rice bowl accompanied by garlic naan, topped with chicken tikka masala, peppers and onions, house-made spicy slaw, and their medium and hot chutneys. Oh — and my Unilocal-provided samosa(which they were kind enough to drop fresh and deliver as soon as it was ready). The portion size was totally appropriate(if not generous) for the price. The rice was fluffy, the naan chewy(though I would have liked for the garlic to have been a little more well-distributed), and the chicken was tasty. The highlight for me, however, was how the toppings brought it all together — the acid from the slaw(which is off menu, but there for the asking) and kick from the chutneys(GETMORETHANONE) cut the rich tikka in just the right way. Also, the samosa was generous and yummy. Next time I’ll go for the lamb, but a successful run for my first time out.

Worst Indian food with worst service! Super expensive. I have ordered tea and the guy gave me dead cold tea. I guess it was made in the morning. :( Guys don’t go here!

Usually its great, but today was the worse I have ever experienced. Naan was hard all the meat was gone, and the girl was rushed. The samosa was disgusting, soggy and greasy. I must say Carrington saved the day. He made me a fresh naan and remade my entire wrap. Thank you thank you.

I had been dying to try out NaanStop since I had heard about their downtown location. I rarely go downtown though due to the parking. I was shopping in Buckhead and decided to stop by this location. Parking is available in the back. Someone yelled out to me that where I was parking was only for NaanStop and the BBQ place. No problem since I was going to NaanStop. The employee at the counter walked me through the steps. It is a similar concept to Chipotle. First, you pick your base: naan sandwich, rice bowl, or salad. Second, choose your protein: chicken tikka masala, kabob, chola(garbanzo beans), punjabi dol(lentils), paneer(cheese), or lamb. Third, choose chutney: cool, sweet, medium, native Indian hot. Fourth, sides: samosa, samosa chaat, masala fries, naan, or garlic naan. Obviously, you don’t need all of these steps. I chose a chicken tikka masala naan sandwich. The serving size was quite good. I was full after eating it. Overall, I thought the the flavor was just OK. I like the concept though and may try them out again. Perhaps a different order, though.

Pretty decent. They have very limited selection but everything taste decent. Prices were good. They have pretty much copied Chipotle and have changed ingredients to Indian food. It was nowhere near great but I still liked it and will be back.

I recommend parking in the back for ease of getting into traffic post-meal at the light. GETTHENAAN! It’s amazing. I also had a salad, which was average. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is so-so.

I like NaanStop — it’s refreshing to have an ethnic lunch alternative to the same ol’ burgers, tacos and burritos. It’s basically the Chipotle of Indian food. Instead of a burrito, you build your Naanwich(freshly baked naan bread filled with indian spiced meats, sauces, and toppings) You can also do a rice bowl or salad if you are watching your calories. Pricing is pretty typical for quick service joints… a naanwich and soda will run you about $ 10. I really liked that the naan is baked fresh, although it did hold our line up a bit long… but worth it. I had the samosas on the side which were tasty, although I hear the fries are good too. Quick, affordable — great lunch spot if you’re in Buckhead and want something a little different.

NaanStop is a tasty Indian, «build your own» fast food restaurant located at the crossroads of Piedmont and Lenox in Buckhead. How it works — choose a rice bowl, wrap(naanwich), or salad. Then pick a protein, which includes chicken tikka masala(advertised as the favorite on their menu), kabob(Indian turkey sausage), paneer(very delicious Indian cheese), lentils, and lamb. Then choose from a small selection of chutneys. Basically, it’s Indian Chipotle. I ordered a chicken tikka masala rice bowl. Like in Chipotle, you get to choose between brown or white rice. The proteins all looked good — I went for the crowd favorite this time, but I would venture to try the lamb or paneer next time. You’ll also be asked if you want a naan. The naan comes in plain or garlic and is handmade. Keep in mind that naan costs a bit extra on top of your bowl, wrap, or sandwich. My bowl was very good. The chicken tikka masala was well cooked. Each of the chutneys added a unique flavor to the dish. Optional vegetables — raw spinach and sauteed peppers — while more of a fusion component, were a welcome healthy addition to the bowl. Some of the chutneys were too zesty, however, so the components of the bowl didn’t blend as well as they could have. I wasn’t a huge fan of my naan — the bread was tough and chewy. For parking, there’s a few spots in the front of the restaurant for fast pickup and a much larger lot in the back of the restaurant. If you park in the back, you’ll have to walk back up the ramp you drove down to get to the restaurant — so watch for cars. I might pass on a second naan from Naanstop, but I’d certainly go back for another chicken tikka masala rice bowl. Also, I’d try out some of the other proteins.

I stopped by NaanStop for a quick dinner and wasn’t disappointed with my tasty NaanWhich. The naan is baked in front of you and I got the wrap with chicken tikka masala, sautéed peppers and onions, and spicy cole slaw. I additionally got the native Indian hot chutney and was pleasantly surprised(it’s really hot!). I also got sample of the other chutneys to try as well. Nothing special, but very solid, NaanStop is simple Indian food shop that provides great bang for your buck.

If I am in a rush yet want to eat my fill, I would go to NaanStop. Very simple menu, very easy to order and considerably tasty to eat. The preparation and end dish is pretty close to the authentic dish. No fuss establishment yet meets the purpose very well. The place basically portrays the Indian cuisine in a very fast track fashion with variety of stuffings in rolls and wraps. Using the Indian breads such as Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Parantha, etc with semi dry curries with various meats and veges and different chutneys bases as stuffings, a single person’s order becomes a good balance of wholesome yet a flavorful treat. I recommend the yogurt based curries for a sublim and mild mouthfeel. Couple it with mint chutney and the result is a culinary explosion in the mouth. The Dal makhani and cottage cheese dishes are also worth a try if one has time on their hands for a proper meal to savor. It is conveniently located on a busy corner of the Piedmont Road within walking distance of all offices in the vicinity.

Yum! My daughter and I love Indian flavors and here we can get them in a casual and delicious way. She said, «…this is like an Indian Chipotle!» and I suppose she’s right in that you start by choosing whether you want your food in a bowl with rice, or in a wrap or in a salad. To me the quality is higher than a Chipotle. All the sauces and condiments are very flavorful and tasty, the main items(Chicken Tikka, etc) are super delicious. A really nice guy explained the options. We’ll be back.

I’ve been wary of eating Indian food ever since a couple of Indian food aftermath experiences I’ve had. We pulled up to the restaurant after the wary group decided on NaanStop for lunch. Parking is very limited in front, so we parked in the back, which contains a shared lot for Lovies, Chipotle and NaanStop. NaanStop is organized in a Chipotle-ordering style, so it’s ironic that they are located next door to each other. You order your starch/grain, your meat/protein, your chutney/sauce, and finally your side. I ordered a brown basmati rice bowl, with the halal lamb and the native Indian hot(chili and cilantro) chutney. I tried to order a chai but all the cups of chai had frozen in the back of the fridge(someone needs to turn that down…) so I ordered a mango lassi, per the server’s recommendation. The ones he pulled from the back of the fridge were also frozen so he handed me a cup from the back. The rice bowl was amaaaaaazing. My lamb was tender and meaty, while the sauce burned my tongue to shreds, but I loved it. The masala fries that my coworker ordered was only ok. The blend of flavors didn’t really work for us. My mango lassi was pretty disappointing. The juice is really thick, so I’m guessing that’s why it was so hard to chill thoroughly. I didn’t want to add ice in it to ruin the consistency of the mango lassi, but it really was hard to drink room temperature. I ended up tossing half of it away because it was just becoming hard to drink. The flavors are very interesting and I love mango, but I found it not very refreshing. Overall the meal was pleasant, but not mind-numbingly good, although it was tongue numbing. However, I will definitely come back to try some of the other meats and chutneys, because I WANTMYCHAI.

Came a bit before opening and the friendly staff let me wait inside. I watched them make the naan fresh, baked in an oven contraption. Chipotle-style, I walked down the counter and chose type(naan wich), protein(chicken tikka masala), and sauce(cool and medium). See picture for ordering guidance and choices. The chicken was fresh as I saw it being cooked. By the time I got a chance to eat it 30 minutes later, the naan was soggy. I could still taste the burnt parts which needs to be improved on. I could not taste any garlic. The samosa is massive. The crust is not too thick but still very oily. I love potatoes so I scarfed up the stuffing pretty quickly. This part was good. Overall, it’s an interesting ethnic twist to the Chipotle idea. However, it doesn’t taste like what I imagine is truly authentic Indian food(based on the restaurants I’ve gone to with Indian friends). I hope they do well. The location is good for white collared workers who can walk to the area, don’t have to deal with parking, and can grab a quick meal. It’s just not my cup of tea and I’d rather try something new.
