Mattress Plus

updating my review after reading the comments from management — posted nearly 2 years after my review. (this is consistent with my experience of their attention to detail & follow up, by the way). NO, I am not confused, I bought our mattress from the Buckhead store of Mattress Plus.
Worth sharing — since this 2011 experience I’ve purchased 3 (count ‘em) mattress sets in two different cities and all have been outstanding experiences. The best experience by far was the Original Mattress Factory guy’s name was Brian Hester. Re-​living this experience makes me think I should go post a positive review for that company — heading there now.

CONSUMERS BEWARE! (I wish I could give zero stars)
0) READ THOROUGHLY the receipt you sign at the time of purchase. Their fine print is tricky and scary.
1) THERE IS A 25% «RESTOCKING» FEE if you change your mind and decide to cancel your order, the restocking fee APPLIES AS SOON AS YOU SIGN THE RECEIPT, EVEN IF THE ORDER HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED. THIS WAS NOT EXPLAINED TO US AT THE MOMENT OF PAYMENT.
2) MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RECEIPT in your hands when you leave the store after you make a purchase.
3) Force them to explain to you the return and warranty policy.
I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with this store, and as soon as I resolve my issues with them, I will make sure to make a thorough account of my experience. In the meantime, I want fellow mattress buyers to be aware of potential pitfalls during transaction cancellations with this business.

I had been shopping around for a new mattress for a few weeks, and upon researching the type that I wanted I found that Mattress Plus was a dealer. I walked in and had a great time with the staff (James!) walking around and testing the firmness of different sets.
I love that he didn’t try to up-​sell me on anything and answered my questions honestly. He was very patient while I tested and tested and when it came time to make a decision he helped with the pros and cons. I purchased an iCloud though I went in for the Jamison… the decision was completely my own even though the mattress I chose was more expensive.
They delivered quick the next day and also installed the mattress for me. Overall I had a really great experience since they were helpful, knowledgeable, honest, quick and friendly.

We are in the market for a new bed and decided to check out Mattress Plus since they carry some of the beds we are interested in. We were looking for a memory foam bed and while here we discovered the iComfort bed that seems to be a lot better than most memory foam beds since it is a cooler bed that combines memory foam and gel in the mattresses.
The service here is ok, but I wasn’t really all that impressed. He kept saying that the price of the bed was set by the manufacturer and that would be the best price we could find on it. That they would give us a deal with free delivery. I told him we were just looking, and then the salesman came out in the guy and he offered us $ 100 out of his pocket if we bought the bed that day. I told him again that we were just looking and not ready to buy that day, and then he acted a little pissed off. Oh well.
Later that day I went online and found the same bed for $ 300 less.
