My good friend Jon has been ranting and raving about this place for such a long time but I never had the time to visit until recently. Wow, was it a treat! The food was amazing. Fresh, piping hot and there’s something about their homemade sauce that makes you crave it again and again. The food was amazing. Our pizza was made to perfection and I really enjoyed the spinach that the owner used for both the pizza and our pasta. The sausage in my guy’s pasta bowl was equally delish! The spices, the freshly grated parmesean cheese and overall presentation was great. Marc Antony’s is known for their take out menu. There is very limited seating but we all went on a Sunday night and the place wasn’t as crowded. There’s table seating for 8, between two tables. I would recommend ordering take out, indeed! Oh, and their balsamic vinegar dressing was the best I’ve had in awhile!

This is my favorite pizzeria in Atlanta. I’m a New Yorker born and bred(born in Queens, lived on Long Island, worked in Manhattan, and I used to work at a pizza place in Nassau) — enough of one to know that«what’s the best pizza in New York» is a nonsense question. But this really is the best in the ATL in my opinion, and I’ve been to tons of them(I haven’t been to Antico, but I don’t really count places like that as «pizzerias»). Marc Anthony’s is absolutely the only one that could pass itself off as whatever fantastic hole-in-the-wall pizza place was«yours» in NY. The crust is awesome, the sauce is great — not too sweet — and the toppings are fresh — like, actually fresh. The sausage is the real-deal — big, tender chunks that have just the right initial bite before you get to the softer center. The salads are quite good, and the subs are ace. The guy who runs the place does it ALL — he answers the phone(most of the time since I’ve been calling), makes the pizza, and DELIVERS it. He only has a couple employees, but delivery has been very timely every time I’ve ordered. This most recent time I ordered, the owner/operator/delivery guy says to me as he’s handing me the pizza, «This one’s a work of art. This one’s perfect.» And he was right. That’s the kind of place you want to support.

Marc Anthony’s was previously located in Brookhaven across from the decent Pub 71 and the gawd awful Hudson Grille. I have always wanted to give it a try, but unfortunately they closed down and thought they had folded. We originally intended to eat at the Mint Restaurant off of Clairmont Rd and noticed this place in the same strip shopping center. After a few minutes in Mint, we decided to go to Marc Anthony’s. I immediately feel for it. I believe the originally intended this place to be more of a take out spot, but the dining room reminded me of some old school NYC spot. It’s tiny, quaint with only a few tables. They don’t serve alcohol so you can bring your own and get your drink on there. We started with the salad. It wasn’t memorable and it was served with romaine lettuce and sliced tomatoes. The salad does need some work as it wasn’t a standout. I had the Chicken Parmigiana in a bowl with penne pasta and their marinara sauce. It was served with two sides of garlic bread which wasn’t all that bad. The chicken breasts were large and covered with mozzarella cheese and quite good. The sauce in my opinion was a little on the bland side with watery consistency. I would recommend a slight change in their recipe for the sauce. As for the penne pasta, I didn’t mind it; however angel-hair pasta may have been a nicer alternative. All in all, it was a hearty meal with enough left over to take home. The portion sizes were abundant.

This is an awesome little italian restaurant. I work at a hotel in the Chamblee area and they deliver so it works out well for me. The only thing i’ve ever had from them is the meat lasagna and its awesome and cheesey and the portion size is humongous. Also, their garden salad is delicious too… and huge. The people on the phone are very nice and accomodating as well so i can only imagine how good the servers are.

These guys make some of the best Italian food in Atlanta. Although the new location on Clairmont doesn’t have much in the way of ambiance, they more than make up for it with the quality, taste and portion size. The tiny dining room is actually decorated with several family photos from the old country and that gives you the first hint you are in for something special. The Italian sausage is really exceptional, the shrimp alfredo is very fresh and creamy and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality. I highly recommend this little out of the way place for a great meal and nice personable service.

If you go here, I’d definitely say get take out. I wish I could give 2 ½ stars. The restaurant is very tiny, in the middle of a yucky looking strip mall. The staff was very, very nice, but the food kind of reminded me of what I make at home when I am «attempting» to make Italian. But I make it better. Not exactly what I want when I go out. Drinks are served in a can. Hence, «getting take out». I will say the portions were quite large. Sadly, just not as tasty as I would have liked.

How many Italian places deliver around here? Not that many with which I am familiar. .. Hail Marc Anthony’s! Recently relocated from Peachtree(right across from the Brookhaven Marta) to Clairmont Rd(Clairmont Center), last night I finally tried the food — delivery-version– from this little gem of a spot. Originally opened as a catering place(which they still do), they have expanded into restaurant-service, take-out and my new favorite, delivery! Why? First, because of how quickly the food arrived. Only about twenty-five minutes and the pasta and bread were piping hot. Second, they have my new favorite cheesy garlic bread EVER. And last night I really needed that kind of «treat,» so it was particularly appreciated. Third, good food(I’d give it 3 stars) in really generous portions. I got their Chicken Parm(with spaghetti marinara; note– all entrees come with your choice of side or caesar salad, or you can sub soup) and the Boy got the Marc Anthony’s pasta — a tasty dish of meatballs over penne with veggies in marinara sauce. Not spicy, but with a nice little«twinge» added thanks to bell peppers in the mix. I’ve been told the Chicken Marsala is also very tasty and I can’t wait to try their meatball sub and ravioli. The menu is extensive and prices are reasonable. The old 404-phone still works but you can get a complete address and menu update at . Overall, 4 stars.
