So this is my second time here, and it was almost the same as the first experience dealing with the waitress and getting thing«on-time.» Our waitress Jada lot on her plate and couldn’t check on us much. Thus, we got our mimosas late, and our food was either burnt or wrong in some manner. The good thing however is that we were nice about it because we literally saw her running around. I still have 3 stars because this place has awesome potential and the food, despite he mishap, is still amazing! He mimosas on Sunday are bottomless and you pay per person($ 13.50), but it’s worth it truly! Take a chance on this spot and sit on the roof of the weather is nice! I promise you’ll enjoy even if you get things a little later than usual. Just call it their way of making you put those phones down and actually take time for conversation!

Worst brunch ever! Mimosas were great, ordered the brunchos and it was terrible! A bunch of dry chips with nothing on them! Asked for extra queso to make it edible and was charged extra. Pathetic

I came here while my boyfriend and I were visiting ATL and walking around Little 5. We sat on the roof patio and had a couple drinks… it was very nice! We didn’t eat so I can’t vouch for the food, but the service and atmosphere were both great. We even ended up buying 2 of their glasses we enjoyed it so much.

I’ve been here a few times before but I believe today was a not so great experience. It took a long time to receive our food. I had ordered my burger medium but it was definitely well done and dry. I’m not usually a complainer unless something is terribly wrong, because I know most issues are not the servers fault and they get run enough throughout the day. Plus considering how long it took I just ate it, didn’t want to sit there empty-handed while my friends were enjoying theirs. My salad was very tasty though. I didn’t see our server but twice, but another server explained she was being trained, so all is forgiven there. One more thing, the water being served in a liquor bottle with jelly glasses is a cute idea, but my the jelly glasses are way too small, even tho it’s a bar some of your patrons(like me) actually love water, so some tall glasses with ice would be so much better :)

I came here by chance. While I was waiting for my friend I needed somewhere to sit and eat. I didn’t regret that came here. The Little 5 Corner Tavern has a wide selection of drinks and food, friendly waiters and interesting design inside the tavern. The food was very tasty and I was happy with everything. I give them four out of five.

Great Mediterranean burger! And our server, Jersey, was wonderful. I wish my daughter was more like her and not an utter failure. You’re a disappointment, Karen. Seriously, how could you flunk out of third grade? Were the finger paintings too hard? Stop sniffing glue and be more like Jersey

My ex and I were here as he likes Little 5 and the people watching experience. Luckily, we were seated near the window so we could experience the liveliness of Little 5. I ordered a burger and it was cooked well and tasted good. Will definitely be back. I need to experience the rooftop deck next! I also am looking forward to trying out their brunch.

This is a great place. What really sets it above the rest of little five is the awesome wait staff. Food: I had a burger. It was cooked perfectly and juicy without being greasy. Fries were meh. Drinks: They had just an okay beer list. My cocktail was yummy. Atmosphere: Nice and chill. Not noisy. Plenty of room. The place had people in it — but it was jut a nice scene. I love the Porter — but this place is more my speed with the quiet atmosphere.

Came here for brunch on my one year anniversary. I love this place! From the waffles, turkey sausages, French toast and Korean bbq wings! Everything was absolutely amazing. Can’t forget their bottomless mimosas and great customer service. My boyfriend also enjoyed the multiple TVs surrounding the tables. I liked the big windows facing the walkway.

I was heading over to Aisle 5(Gonna review them as well) for an event and decided to stop by Corner Tavern first so I could eat, drink, and catch some MNF. Judging from its’ outward appearance and the initial walk-in, I was a expecting a grunge/dive type bar. Not so much… except for the music, which is mostly heavy metal. The guy I spoke to behind the bar was cool about changing one of the TVs to ESPN for me. Menu is typical bar food. I had the jerk chicken quesadilla which was really good. I had some dirty silverware, but my waitress replaced it very quickly. Drink prices were ok for a Monday night. They had a $ 4 tequila and $ 1 High Life special as well. They have karaōke on Monday nights(which I didn’t stay for). The food was good, the drinks were good, and the place/bathrooms were clean. I’d go back.

Was looking for a nice local spot for a quick bite and a drink with a friend while I was in town. In Little 5, there are the typical ‘go-to’s’, but the corner tavern definitely highlighted itself as different from the rest! We sat on the second floor deck, which was so nice! Gorgeous sunset skies and we could people-watch all the crazies walking the streets down below. It was happy hour and I got a Moscow Mule, which was perfectly made for the right price. We ordered the eggplant flatbread and I can honestly say, I’d go back just for that. It was amazing! The rounds were perfectly toasted and the eggplant was amazingly cooked. It had so much flavor! I would recommend this spot — sit upstairs and outside on a nice day!

My overall opinion of Corner Tavern is that their food is really hit or miss. But they have a few really solid items that I’ll go back for over and over. 1. Lemon pepper wings — super seasoned and perfectly crispy. This is honestly the primary reason I eat here! They’re some of my favorite wings in Atlanta. 2. Bloody Mary’s — Incredible. Basic garnishes, but these guys know how to make a delicious bloody. Ask for it spicy bc they have this crazy good habanero hot sauce they’ll add to it. 3. Cesar salad — this one is really random bc I don’t eat a lot of Cesar salads, but goddamn theirs is amazing. So yeah that’s about it but I’m telling you, it’s worth it. I’m sure they have some other good items as well, I just stick with what’s great here. I haven’t been a huge fan of their sandwiches, nachos or other wings but nothing is offensive. Just not my favorite.

Shitty staff. This is my second time here… And again have been greeted by some obnoxious little twat… I know little five is like the cool spot in Atl… but sorry your too cool for my money. Lmfao… well as a response to you CT… I went in the restroom and walked in with one of your employees, I made a joke about beating her in there, and she got pissed and told me she worked there and could just go in front of me. dude I was joking… last visit the regional manager, come to find out was out on the patio yelling at employees and being completely unprofessional, I was actually shocked she even worked there. A bartender completely ignored my presence standing at the bar as he walked by me 3 times. when I finally asked him if he was ignoring me on purpose he slowly turned and said oh no I didn’t see you as he continued to ignore me. the only person who was friendly was the actual manager… so no I don’t enjoy being rude. but I enjoy less being treated rudely when I am a paying customer. twat. twat. twat. It wasn’t the person selling roses she was speaking to that was the problem… and since you know the exact situation I am speaking of Ill assume you know that too. .city vibe? Lol. Ok.

My dining companion picked this spot, having not been here since it burned down. This was my first time. We waited a bit for service, which didn’t bother me much. A table of mid 20s Sunday fundayers was being super loud and obnoxious, when it really wasn’t matching the vibe of the restaurant, not the restaurant’s fault, but still annoying. They were out of the beers that both me and my lunch buddy wanted to order, so I stuck with water. Got a little more annoyed. I ordered the Mediterranean burger(medium) and he ordered the pigmento cheese sandwich. The food came out reasonably quickly. The sides were delicious, but my burger was pretty close to well done and they left the pesto off for some reason. Needless to say, it was a little dry. His sandwich was yummy, and the tater tots were satisfyingly crunchy. I feel like this would have been really worth listening to the shrill drunk girls a few tables down if my food had been prepared correctly. With the vortex down the block, I probably won’t be back. **update: wastey face girl threw her mimosa glass on the ground and it was cleaned up promptly. Witnessed this while waiting for our not so prompt check. Definitely would be a hard sell to get me back here again.

This place I gave a 4 star but service was 5 for sure it was awesome our server(Jersey) was her name, was very sweet and helpful! She was honest on her opinions about particular decisions. We got the huge fish bowl! It was beautiful with nerds looking like rocks at the bottom with sweetish fish floating around the top sooo awesome. Philly was sooo good I asked for mushrooms and friends order was a bit off too but no worries. It was still amazing! A place you must try also Jersey was great to us!

This place was great! My two friends and I went for brunch on a Sunday and we sat on the rooftop patio. They both had the bottomless mimosas for $ 13.50/person which were delicious. I ordered a Greek salad with salmon that was only $ 12.50. Super nice waitress, as well.

My group of 11 had a great experience here on Saturday night. A few other restaurants in the area that we tried first had an almost 2-hour wait for our large group. We hesitantly tried here and we were seated almost instantly. They were great about putting tables together and making room for us. Our server(I forget his name) was awesome. He handled us graciously and efficiently and always kept us up to date on when food and drinks were coming, etc. I was pleasantly surprised with the food. We frequent East Point Corner Tavern and the food there is just average for the most part. Even though they mostly have the same menu, the food was much better at this location. I feel like they care more about taste/presentation here. I had the BLT w/garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes. The bacon was perfectly crisp and the mashed potatoes were delicious. Some other orders in our group were burgers, nachos, and hummus and everyone all enjoyed their food as well. I also think they have a slightly better beer list here too.

A large group of friends and I happened upon this spot this past Saturday night. We aren’t regulars in the area and were looking for a good spot to hold a large crowd comfortably after we had dinner nearby. This was a great find! The downstairs was big and open and we found a spot at the bar right away. I was pleasantly surprised with their extensive selection of beers on draft. We were severed quickly from a super friendly and helpful bartender. A few people played a game or two of pool. My only regret is that we didn’t know there was a patio until it was almost time to head home. Next time!

Man. Oh. Man! I gotta say, I know I’m going to be drooling whilst completing this review because I’ve got a new love in my life, and her name is PIGmento Sandwich. This babe is totally different from your typical run of the mill pimento sandwich. Corner Tavern takes their pimento cheese, makes it into a patty, breads it, and then deep fries it! Then they put on bacon and their amazingly scrumptious«Heavy Pig Metal BBQ Sauce» and slams everything between two slices of Texas Toast! Oh!!! I seriously had a dream about this baby and had to have it for dinner the next day! No joke! You’ll have tantalizing dreams about her in your sleep! They also have fresh ingredients! Their salads are super yummy!(You should probably get a side salad with your PIGmento Sandwich just so your colon can have a break ;) Also, great cocktail and beer selections! Stellar pool table room! Definitely great for people who love pool! The décor are also very rad! I only wish Corner Tavern had a childrens menu. I usually order my toddler a side of pimento mac n cheese, but that’s about all I can order for him here. BUT! They do have highchairs! And service has never let me down. So, just go already! I’m probably going tonight to stuff my face… See you there!

I can’t give a full review here since we’ve not tried the food yet, but we have been here twice both with surprising(though not completely negative) experiences. The first visit, we were unfortunately disappointed by a few selections that were out of stock, and the sizes and prices of the high gravity beers were seemingly disproportionate. Coming from Traverse City, Michigan, a place with craft breweries on almost every corner and exquisitely flavored high gravity beers for moderate prices, these multiple(though not much local or tasty, so far) selections for outrageous prices were quite disappointing. Also, the prices and percentages are clearly labeled on the menu so there is fair warning. Likewise they will assist you in tasting any selection you like, so you have plenty of opportunity to know full well what you’re getting into. The roof is the best seat in the house. Absolutely adore the new layout. They double charged us after we said we would close at the bar. They«transferred» us after we very clearly said we were done with pur pitcher and not ordering anything else. That was annoying enough, but then, when we asked to tab out, we were presented with one credit card tab to sign. Low and behold, we discovered the next day that we were double charged. After calling them, we discovered we would have to wait for the charges to go through(twice) before they would remove either of them. I understand that mistakes happen. But combined with everything else, it was a less than savory experience. However we love sitting on the roof to people watch and the menu does look delightful, so hopefully we will return soon and I can update this review with a better experience under our belts!

I’m so so so sad to be leaving this review. I waited more than a week to try to come to terms with how bad our experience was vs. how much I used to love this place. L5P Corner Tavern used to be my go-to place. I could always find a table, service was always friendly, and the food was good. I really wanted the new Corner Tavern to be just as good when it reopened. It was not. We sat on the rooftop patio and it was a gorgeous day. It took a while to get menus. We tried to get the server’s attention and he even made eye contact, but nothing for the next 20 minutes. I kept saying how this place was my favorite so «give them a chance, they just opened.» We ordered drinks and after they arrived we realized they would not be drinkable. The spicy margarita was caustic. I love spicy foods and spicy margs. I order them whenever they’re available because they’re never as sweet as a traditional marg. This was nothing like anything I’ve ever had before, or anything I would ever serve when I was a bartender(at a Mexican restaurant no less). It took another 30 minutes to speak to a server. At this point my friends were feed up and I was embarrassed. When we asked if we could switch them out with something else we were told(between two servers) «yeah it says spicy on the menu» and«I like spicy food and didn’t think they were too spicy.» Then«I don’t think we are allowed to do that, but let me ask the bar manager.» One server stayed and asked if he could try it. I said sure because we weren’t going to drink them. After a sip he said, «that’s not spicy at all.» Now *I’m* angry because I used to be a server/bartender and if a customer said they didn’t like a drink I would immediately replace it with no questions asked. After about 10 minutes the server said the bar manager would come speak to us. THEN the power went out(granted not something they could do anything about). At that point we said screw it, dropped money to pay for the drinks and left. I really, really, really hope this place gets their stuff together because it’s going to be a big bummer if I have to avoid Corner Tavern when I’m in L5P.

5 Stars for Cassie! 4 Stars over all. Went into the tavern after the wait at Vortex was too long. Headed upstairs to rooftop seating. Another table that came 5 minutes after us got greeted before us. The waitress clearly saw us and ignored us. Contemplated leaving but they had my favorite beer and I wanted to get it. Waited 10 more minutes, nothing. We went downstairs and Cassie said we can sit in her section and she will take care of us. She was extremely friendly and more than compensated for the lack of customer service we received upstairs. She was apologetic and made out experience more than enjoyable. Will absolutely return to sit in her section. If you ever go, ask for Cassie!

I’ve been a local to L5P since I was 15. I loved this bar before the fire and I love it now. Sure, it’s different, but let’s take a step back and ask ourselves. If I had a bar, and it burned down, would I rebuild a dive bar. Hmmm, no. It’s shiny, it’s new, it’s like a castle and I love it! The food is delicious and I feel good knowing what’s in it and where it came from. Thanks Corner Tavern for a beautiful rebirth! Cheers! P. S. — Best wings in town!
