Nice ladies work at this location. Service is prompt and friendly. The food is tasty and ALMOST as good as White Castle.

The bar tender took my credit card but did not return it. By the time realized he never gave it back, I was on the plane.
The plane was a short ride — landed in Memphis 25 minutes later — the card already had a ton of charges on it for gas, cash advances and miscellaneous merchandise. Nice operation. I hope AMEX hunts them down.

Ordered 4 burgers and 1 chicken sandwich. All of which were made wrong, even though we could hear the clerk tell the cook how to properly make meals. Burger meat hardly tasted like sufficient meat. Would not recommend unless you just want fries and a soda

It. Nice to have an old standard like Crystal Burger in an airport where I lay over often. The food is ok. The service is not good at all. The people who work there barely acknowledge you. They are all to busy just talking to each other. Typical unimportant bullshit, but obviously more important than their customers. It is pretty funny cause they get your food prepared quickly and accurately but they could be serving it to Martians for all they know. It is all very surreal! But worthy of a strong 3 stars!

Krystal Burger takes me back to my college days. It is often compared to White Castle but it does have a different vibe. I discovered this place while between flights at the Atlanta Airport. Although I was in a hurry and it was really breakfast they were fast enough to get me my burgers and make my flight. They ask your name and refer to you as «Mr» or «Miss» whomever. It’s a sweet southern tradition.
The burgers have improved since we binged on them in college. Although back then I would still have given those tiny burgers a ringing endorsement. This is not your artisan, gourmet hipster joint. It’s not even a McDonald’s or Burger King — In many ways it’s better. Have a little or as much as you like. Even if all you want is a little taste of nostalgia.

It was my first time trying Krystal burgers, but today I just felt like having a chicken burger. I ordered the 3-​piece chik combo. It comes with 3 mini burgers each with pickle and some mayo.
Overall the burgers were ok, not extraordinary but ok.
Waffle fries were not too crispy. Would give it a 4 star if the fries were better.

I’ve never had any at a restaurant location unfortunately but it’s still delicious.
Service is usually fast but there isn’t much on the menu and most of it is already prepared.
I had some spicy chicken mini’s today — they were pretty good.

I typically like Krystal. Not only does it bring back memories from happy days in college, they don’t have Krystals in Chicago so when I can get one, I usually jump at it.
Waiting at the Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta, there was a Krystal across from my gate. I had to have some. There was no line when I looked, so I went up there and ordered two Krystal hamburgers. (The menu shows the minimum order is a sack of five.) They come in the small Krystal sack, each burger in a cardboard sleeve.
Krystal burgers are steamed and served with pickle and mustard on a bun. Why one star? The server was very nice and we even joked about the differences between White Castle and Krystal and my excitement about being able to have a Krystal burger. It all comes down to quality. I was really disappointed in the bun. Taste-​wise, the meat was fine. The bun on both burgers were wet. Yes, they are supposed to be steamed, but there is a difference between steamed and saturated.
I was very disappointed. But, I will continue to go to Krystal when I’m around one. I’ll chalk this up to being a stand in an airport.

Love medicating before I get to airport, grabbing a sackful of krystals extra onion, and taking them on the plane with me as my edibles start kicking in.
I have gotten some very mean looks for devouring 12 krystals on my flights to west coast or the northeast.

What can I say, sometimes you need breakfast and there are not many (fast) options.
So, I was at the Atlanta airport and there was Krystal.
The breakfast sausage and egg biscuit was okay and the biscuit and gravy platter was even better.
Greasy? Yes. Satisfying? Truly.

I grew up on White Castle burgers & while Krystal’s burgers are decent they don’t compare.
I had the original burger minus the onions & cheese. They put way too much mustard on the burger but I was able to salvage it by adding ketchup. The burgers were good but I probably wouldn’t eat them again if given the choice. When you’ve grown up with the original & best slider imitations just wont do.
Loved the fries though. Easily the best fast food fries behind Wendy’s IMO.

Terminal A! White Castle of the south! I couldn’t leave Atlanta without trying Krystal. My flight was in terminal D but I went to A first to get some Krystal. My food all came out fresh. I ordered the Krystal sampler. You get a lot of food for 8 dollars. It consisted of a Krystal beef, chicken, mini corn dog, mini chilli dog, fries, and a drink.
Krystal beef — I could do without the mustard. It takes away from the rest of this dish.
chickn — Pretty damn good and crispy
Corn dog — a small corn dog. nothing crazy but you cant go wrong
chill pup — mini chilli dog. nice and tasty.
fries — crispy and hot. and finely salted.
Fast food that I enjoyed. It’s no gourmet eating. but that’s not what I was looking for.
Recommendation: Krystal sampler for those who’ve never eaten here.

I understand Krystal has quite the following, I just do not understand why. Every so often when I am in Atlanta I give it another try hoping for different results. As one would expect the results have not improved.
The fries are just OK at best. There is little flavor and they are not near crispy enough.
The burgers also lack good flavor. You get several of them with a meal because of their size, but the bread is what dominates the food.

Krystal is Krystal. But when you are a transplanted Southerner living in the Midwest, how can you turn down so tiny paper mache burgers?

Seriuosly? How can you not give Krystal’s five stars?
Even in an Airport those little sliders are good.

I don’t know what the hype is about Krystal burgers. Maybe I’m just not a fan of little burgers with little to no meat. It was more like eating a bun with the taste of meat. But then again, maybe that’s the point? I just don’t think I’ll be running back to a Krystal’s, ever.

This five-​star rating is ridiculous and irrational, and I acknowledge that. But it had been my unholy grail at the ATL airport for years now. I knew it had existed. I’d eaten at it before. Yet for some reason, in the dozen times I’ve flown in or through ATL, I could never find the god dog Krystal.
Today, my unprayed for wishes were answered. The Krystal is located in Concourse A, ladies and gentlemen, and let us, and me specifically, never forget that.
Yes, Krystal is nasty. It’s gross. It’s got to be made of entirely unnatural things. You pay for it in the ensuing hours after you eat it. It’s not even as good at White Castle. But let’s face it: those little steamed hamburgers are culinary crack. I wish I had ordered 12. Well, my GI tract thanks me for that, anyway.

Crispy Chicken Salad good for 2 with lots of chicken strips and plump cherry tomatoes. Generous salad dressing portion and selection.

My adventure to Krystal’s was strictly by chance as my original flight was delayed. My double cheese combo was delivered on four soft warm slider buns. I enjoyed the Krystal burgers, taking my time as I was still a bit full from my earlier dining experience at Paschal’s. I wish their fries could’ve been crispy like McDonald’s. Next time I’ll add caramelized onions to complete the burger.

While I was in the ATL airport, I wanted to get food that I can get in Los Angeles (where I live). I didn’t see a Bojangles, so I got Krystal.
I got the spicy chicken minis. They were quite tasty, but not spicy at all (got my hopes up for nothing).
The girl who took my order was very nice, but for some reason, my food took more than twice as long as everyone elses (about four people that ordered after me got their food before I did).
As with everything in the airport, it was overpriced, but I was held captive, so what could I do.
