So, I didn’t personally stay here but this place has caused me grief by association. I’m reviewing it because it is somewhat near the ATL airport and I wouldn’t want another unsuspecting soul staying here. Basically a friend of mine got a room here over the weekend and soon discovered that the toilet didn’t work. She put in a maintenance call and they said they would come to fix it. So they come to fix and tell her it’s good to go. So she goes to use it and darnit, it doesn’t work. So she puts in yet another call to hotel staff to come«re-fix» the toilet. They said fine. Meanwhile she goes out to Longhorn for dinner with friends, has a grand old time, and returns to the hotel. Bathroom? You guessed it. She calls to ask why they didn’t fix it and they tell her that she wasn’t there so they were waiting on her to get back… flag one. WHY she needed to be in there for them to fix it, God only knows. So obviously she is fed up at this time and asks for her money back. They refuse to return the money citing that they need a manager to do that and there is none on duty to approve this return of a measly $ 40… flag two. So the next day she wakes an unsuspecting me up at 10am and says, «Hey Charisse can you take me to Old National?» WHAT!!! Obviously this is not a jet down the street. She explains to me that a hotel employee(NOT the manager) called her and told her she had to come RIGHTNOW to get her money back before his shift was over, otherwise she wouldn’t see it again. Flag three. there are no words to explain my confoundedness. Wasted morning AND gas AND time AND sanity for some shady business. Thanks for reading my gripe.
