Cheap Eats! I’m hardly ever on this side of town, I think I wanted to stop by based on the name alone — Lol. My sister works near this area, so after visiting her, my Hunni and I decided to stop by and grab breakfast and I’m glad we did. Anyone that’s knows me, knows but I am NOT too keen on eating at buffets or cafeteria restaurants, but this place seems to have a steady crowd and we ended up waiting about 10 minutes to get our food so I suspect the food had not been sitting there for a very long period of time. I ordered a bacon plate with cheesy grits and eggs and breakfast potatoes(yes, I’m greedy), surprised to get all of that food for less than $ 6. The food was really good, no extra seasoning needed, I really enjoyed the breakfast potatoes the most. They have an extensive list of items, my sister says she goes there when she has time, but the wait is always the problem.(so go early) LOL. Great find, sure to visit again soon.

Yesterday was my first time trying this and I must say I was impressed. I really like this place and I’ll definitely be good back, especially since it super close to my home. The service was pretty good, it was fast and the people are polite. I like the portion sizes. They give you a lot of food which was one of the reasons I stopped by lol. After eating this I slept for hours and it was so good. Everything was seasoned pretty well. The pancakes were nice and thick just how I like them. They weren’t super thin like ihop or McDonald’s(ewww). The potatoes were amazing! It just may be my favorite part about it. The restaurant itself was pretty clean by the way.

I work down the street and this is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. The food is cheap, fast, and hearty. Certainly not gourmet or worth a specific trip, but consistently good. I’m personally not a fan of the Philly, but I do love their rice combos(shrimp, chicken or lamb) and the honey BBQ wings. Their parking lot sucks and is challenging to maneuver — I wish the landlord would repave & repaint.

The prices are awesome, you’re truly getting a bang for your buck at this place! I’ve never been to Philly, but compared to other places that sell cheesesteaks in SW Atlanta, it’s by far the best. Definitely better than American deli and Philly connection!

Ate here several times over the last year. Found them to have great service, reasonable prices and one of the best cheese burgers I’ve had in a while.

Looking for a quick breakfast before going into work down the road. There aren’t many options around here besides major fast food chains. They have your basic southern breakfast items. No frills, quick and cheap. My bacon, egg and cheese was great & simple with tons of bacon!

Had a less than stellar experience during last visit. Food still seasoned well but make sure they don’t have anyone working who should actually be home sick. If not then rock on.

I found myself at Gutbuster’s for lunch this week as it got some decent reviews on Unilocal.I ordered the beef philly cheese steak as the reviews said theirs was pretty good. It was just okay to me. It comes with and assortment of peppers and onions, mayo, mustard, and ketchup. I’ve heard of mayo on a philly, but ketchup? No thanks. The bread was nothing special and I found that there was a lot of it that swallowed up the meat. Also, I tasted a lot of salt and not that much flavor, if you get my drift. Anyway, I got the meal which comes with french fries and a drink for about $ 7. It’s frozen fries out of a bag. I’m not taking out my pen and paper to write home about any of this. There is better out there. Gutbuster’s serves breakfast as well and from the looks of it, the breakfasts are good and inexpensive. I will go back to try a breakfast out. They also serve burgers and wings at this joint. It’s a small spot with a few tables if you want to eat in. When I went, several tables were occupied and several were unoccupied, but dirty. So, again, I do want to try their breakfast and maybe it will blow me away. For the time being though, I’m planted on 3 stars and the wind is blowing, but I’m not moving.

Had philly cheese steak a couple of times and the lamb and rice. Two people can share a plate. I call in and the fries are not dropped until you get there. Nice! Pretty clean.

I could eat here everyday if one was closer to me. The best Philly out there. All of the ingredients work perfect together to make for a delicious sandwich. Their wings are good! And definitely the best breakfast(tastes home cooked) in Atlanta. Pancakes(2 large pancakes), eggs, grits, and bacon(lots of it!) for under $ 6. You can’t beat it. The Philly cheese steak omelete is also delicious. The burgers are freshly made too.

The food is really good and they give HUGE helpings. The prices are reasonable too. For breakfast, I love the salmon patties. They make a great lamb gyro. Their bacon cheeseburger is delicious and huge! They also make a great Philly cheesesteak.

Gutbusters will definitely bust your gut. I just had breakfast and you get a lot of bang for the buck. 2 pancakes, 2 sausage patties, grits and scrambles eggs for under $ 6. Can’t wait to come back for lunch.

This place was friendly and clean… so thats a plus automatically. They cook your food to order. Gutbusters is the kind of place a hungry man would love. The portions they give u here is more than enough. As for a women u could never eat all of that at one time.

I went to school in the AUC so I was blessed to have experienced the original Gutbusters on Lee St, which has made me rather snobbish about cheesesteaks in general. After the original closed over 10 years ago, satellite locations have opened up in various areas across the city so I was excited to have one in my current neighborhood. Unfortunately, the Cascade location very much pales in comparison to the original. While not bad, the cheesesteaks just don’t have the same charm and flavor as they used to and I can’t quite put my finger on what’s different about them. My only guess is that the first location was run by the original owners whereas the newer ones are run by past workers who may be adding a different flair. Like a crack head, I always go back hoping that this experience will be like the first hit but I only end up disappointed and mad at the calories I wasted. If I just HAVE to have a cheesesteak(because there’s only a certain style I like), then I may stop through but I always prepare myself for disappointment.

Gutbusters does one thing well, and one thing only — The Philly«Cheese Steak Whiz». I give 5 stars for that only. It’s a gooey, cheesy, mess of steak, spicy peppers, vinegary pickles and condiments. And it is good. Oh it’s really good. Yes, it’s amazing. Order the«Cheese Steak Whiz» with everything. Do not be tempted to skip some of the toppings or condiments. Do not be tempted to order it without the whiz. It’s the combination of all those ingredients that makes it special. The other food there is unremarkable. The fries are ok. I had the wings once and they were terrible. I’ve never had the breakfast. Again, order the«Cheese Steak Whiz» with everything. And while you’re at it, indulge and get the foot long.

I frequent Gutbuster’s quite often because it is very close to my job. It’s rare that I have a complaint about the food; I enjoy almost everything on their menu. The chicken philly is awesome! The service is not always something to rave about, but I have gotten to know the cashiers individually and they are all sweet girls. They get super busy around lunch time so I can imagine them being swamped. I also place large to go orders with them every few weeks and they always do an excellent job at filling my order correctly and fast. I am a fan!

OMG! The food is awesome, and I do mean awesome, the best breakfast on this side of town for sure! Now on the other hand the service is not so great and that surprises me at how the place is always pack and yet management doesn’t address the way the customers are treated! The attitudes in this place puts every employee on the most wanted Divas list from the cashier to the cook, both the men and women, go figure!
