So when I saw a new food truck on the schedule, I was excited, Gotta Have It food truck. I’ve tried the lobster boat for $ 14, it looked like it came straight from the kitchen sink, also the food came out in 2 min, cold topping with warm yet burnt mac & cheese, I found 2 tiny pieces of completely over cooked lobster, and seriously, Imitation crab meat? roughly chopped onions, well the only thing good on the dish was couple of pieces of shrimps that wasn’t over cooked. Not a good first impression of your food truck. I’m posing the photo of the Lobster Boat. Two little pieces of the red color you see was the«Lobster». When I first received this I told them that it looks«Scary» but they guaranteed it’s good. They should at least make it look pretty or presentable if you are charging people $ 14 for it. ***From my personal experience trying many food trucks in Atlanta, if the food comes out in less than 5 min, it means the food is pre-cooked and slapped on per order, and usually the food quality is not good. I don’t mind waiting for good tasty food. ((It was the single worst food truck food I ever had, I need to remind myself that, if the food looks«scary» don’t eat it))

Gotta Have It Catering recently provided the catering for my parents 50th Anniversary celebration. Vince was very professional and helpful from start to finish. He worked with our target budget and graciously offered a variety of choices to customize the menu to our tastes. He and his staff arrived early to set everything up. The food was delicious and received rave reviews from all in attendance. I will certainly use Gotta Have It for all of my future catering needs and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for catering in the Atlanta area. Thank you Vince and team for an outstanding job!

Do not waste your money. The main chef is a drunk who promises things that he can not deliver. They back out on their contracts. The food is sub par, a child can cook better. Stay far, far away!!!

Eating vegetarian via food trucks is often a challenge, so I was excited that Gotta’ Have It had a salmon salad offering. However what I ended up with was less than desireable. First of all the entrée was $ 10 and consisted of a cold flour tortilla, a blob of fish salad and some slaw and other vegetables. The dish was basically tasteless and expensive. The concept of the tortilla might have been ok to turn it into a wrap, but the fact that it was cold made it totally unappetizing. The guy taking the money was bragging about how fast they got their food out, no doubt when you slap together a tasteless fish salad on a cold tortilla.
