We found this oasis after a hot day running errands and going to places. Coffee was very good, and I respect simple flavor of black coffee so I ordered an iced americano and my friend ordered their ice mocha which he inhaled within the first 5 minutes. The outside seating area has huge fans and this industrial-theme seating area with huge windows, swing benches, and water fountain, making the area a great place to chill. The indoor seating was very nice too, great ambience, although some of the tables were sooo tiny so if you come with a laptop, you need to make sure you snatch one of the bigger tables. Parking was easy too as it is sitting on a small plaza. There is also a parking garage next to Ponce City Market(located behind the coffee shop). So all around it was a great spot to hang out for a while or a quick drop by to cool the day of running around Hotlanta!

Very cute artsy and eclectic setup. Was crowded when I visited, but I was very intrigued by the design of the place and the coffee options. Will be back to explore it a bit more in the near future!

Super cool place to get a coffee and work! They have this pretty unique large screened in area where one could sit with whatever you purchased indoors. The inside is quite small, but this large area makes up for it!(I’m from Seattle, so if this is common in Atlanta, pardon my ignorance) It did seem to attract a couple maybe not quite homeless but smelled that way people, and there aren’t a ton of outlets around so there was some sharing and all that going on and mad dashes for the more desired chairs. We both really enjoyed relaxing here for a couple hours on a hot day! The parking arrangement is questionable. Seems hard to get a space(had to cycle around on a Monday afternoon) and they have«30 minute complimentary» signs posted but they do not seem to be enforced. at least not whilst we were there. Hehehe…

I enjoy coffee in general. But, im not sure that I’d believe the Dancing Goat hype. I was drawn in by the outdoor porchy area(which I love.) People work, chill, and get enjoy life out there because it’s so comfortable. I enjoyed an iced coffee latte situation. I didn’t love the hot latte I had there, although the barista attempted to make a design on the top which I enjoyed.

Hands down the best almond milk late I’ve had in ATL. Drive 30 min out of the way in the morning just to get it.

Coolest patio in the world. And by «world», I really mean American cities where it’s just the right climate to have an outside patio.

This coffee shop is excellent all around. There is a wide range of seating, multiple baristas, clean and open ventilation throughout the shop, etc. What makes this coffee shop unique is the large picnic type seating outside their front patio. It’s a large open space under a roof where people can just sit around and enjoy the sunny weather. I also love the pastry bar! I like the fact that people can pick up a pastry of their choice as they curl around to order/pay. It’s like a buffet type formation. Batdorf & Bronson coffee is good! Right now I’m sipping a dark roast which is fairly light. It’s not heavy either. I also had the sea salt olive oil bagel which is tasty but a bit too salty for me. Dancing Goats is awesome and one of a kind coffee shop!

Fantastic place — fantastic coffee!!! Excellent use of outdoor space — and lots of plugs for those of us working on laptops, etc!!! Love — my favorite Atlanta coffee place.

This place is just plain cool. We stopped in after a hair appointment for an afternoon caffeine fix and the line was nearly out the door — which was not expected for 2:30PM on a Saturday! Worth the wait, however, as my iced coffee was one of the best I had all weekend and at a reasonable price. My sister-in-law got an iced chai and also said it was great. The space was cool — especially the outdoor space — but we were getting our beverages to-go so I didn’t stay long enough to get a good study-spot vibe. In any case, great coffee in a convenient location!

Excellent coffee prepared by trained baristas. Hospitality is top notch. Variety of brew methods to experience all the intricacies of their coffee.

VERY popular coffee shop, the line on a Sunday was continuously long and the cute outdoor patio seating was full so we sat inside —raspberry cookie: yum! I liked the chewiness and the crunch of the nuts, weird that you grab & bag the pastries on your own —dark chocolate chip chilly goat; this ice blended drink was really watery, not what I’d expect for ice blended but it was creamy They brew beans from Batdorf & Bronson so I bought a bag of their special blend to brew at home NOTE: they have some gluten free cookie options

Although I grew up in the PNW, I’m a coffee philistine. This really just means I love coffee even more than coffee snobs [read: coffee Israelites], right? Because I love all coffee? No? Okay fine. My friends in the know seem to enjoy Batdorf & Bronson though. Bring a friend or a book, or both. Spend a nice caffeinated afternoon here on one of the wooden /plush seats. Idly people-watch with the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy spying on your friend’s potentially awkward Tinder date. No, wait, what? Me? Of course not. I wouldn’t do that. I promise.

Coolest baristas, amazing almond milk cold brew and the best set-up for hanging around there. It’s really big with a glorious covered patio. Industrial vibes inside with tons of coffee varieties, pastries and snacks. Whoever designed it has really good taste.

The architecture is fantastic, but after that this place is a failure. It’s like a Starbucks with blue colors and DIY service on the dry goods. The baristas don’t appear to be well trained. They sell a ton of cool mugs, but do not appear to have«for here» service on lattes. And the coffee is absolutely terrible. The architecture is nice, however, and the porch area outside is kind of neat if the weather cooperates. However, I would never come back here unless I was totally desperate.

I loved the Dancing Goats! My favorite part was that while goats are in the name, what I saw tons of here were dogs. The outdoor seating has a funky vibe to it, with red rocking chairs and wooden benches swinging from the ceiling along with a dripping«waterfall» of sorts at the back. This entire area is dog-friendly, adding a charm that other cafes don’t have. The inside is clean, trendy, and aromatic — the roasting beans filling the air. As you wait in line, tasty treats from jalapeño bagels to bran muffins lie in your view, just begging you to devour them. The staff is friendly and warm, and the coffee itself gives you that same feeling for your soul. Definitely a place to drop by if you’re looking for a solid cup of joe and maybe even some dog-watching!

Was walking around PCM and was headed back home down North Avenue… was a cold day, so we wanted some coffee or in our case, some hot chocolate. Good location, sitting on the corner of North and Glen Iris with a small parking area on the North Avenue side. The place is kind of sectioned off inside with an interior seating area, then the main open air area where you order and pick up with a small bar consisting of 4 – 6 seats and finally a large closed in outside section with a few floating benches, some rocking chairs, a built in sofa and a nifty fountain. So, the place was rocking and the line was long, but they were quick to get you your cup of joe. We had the hot chocolate, which was great. A lot of folks had the olé trusty cup of coffee and seemed to enjoy it… so, I would say it is a trustworthy place to swing in and grab a cup of your favorite hot beverage!

Coffee bars, for the most part, I can live without. However, if I am with a group of friends and if someone wants coffee. I can adapt. Other than that, I am going to a gas station to get the strongest energy drink on hand. My buddy and his gf were perusing around Ponce City Market last Sunday afternoon and were in need of a pick me up. We decided to go here. I kept forgetting it was on the actual corner, and not in the actual Market(this was actually the first place open on the block) — so we were glad when we finally got up there. I have never really been up close to the place, so I was impressed when I saw the enclosed patio, and the seating on the outside which reminded me of a rock sand beach. In the room where you actually order they have a small bar set-up where you can sit as well. They have a pretty basic menu. One thing I did notice is that the prices were pretty decent for a local coffee shop. I got a 12oz chai latte. It was prepared pretty quickly. And let me tell you, it was a solid drink. I think I 2 sipped the whole thing. It was creamy, and flavorful. The only thing I regretted was not getting another one, or least a bigger size. I am pretty sure they use locally roasted coffee from«Batdorff and something». It was solid, and it helped me get a second wind. I could see this place being a great place to catch up with someone. It also seemed like the majority of people there were either reading or on a laptop. Make sure you pay before you eat the pastries!

The cold brew was good. The Chicken salad was GREAT! The outdoor seating is so nice even though there’s no plugs or tables for laptops. Keep the lap-tops on your laps and you’ll be all good at Dancing Goats. The server was friendly enough. The prices aren’t ridiculously insane. The breeze outside is fantastic. Almost all tables full but still enough space for YOU. The hammocks are nice if you can get one. Some guy was full on-laying out on one, but they are big enough to share — so don’t be stingy… if you get a hammock, share it with a stranger, make a friend! Free Parking for all – even if you don’t live in PCM. Cool enough crowd. I just moved to the Flats, so I can see Dancing Goats becoming a regular work place. The bathrooms are clean. The wifi is not lightning speed fast, but it’s fast enough. Good place for people watching, reading, working, and catching up with a friend. Intelligentsia quality but better prices. I am a fan!
