I placed an order, online, for a headphone. About 2 weeks later, they sent me an email stating the item would be shipped in 3 — 5 business days. Then, another email stating they were processing the order. When I phoned them a month later, Raven told me that they were«out of stock», at which point I asked for a refund. After several days, and, after reading Cost Captain’s abysmal ratings on Amazon, I filed a fraud report with my credit card bank. The bank spoke with them, and, I got a refund in a few days. There are copious reports of what an awful company Cost Captain is. Don’t use them. Many people believe that they are taking your money with no intent of delivering. There’s lots of evidence to support this. Everyone seems to report that 1) they charge your card immediately, 2) they later learn their item is «out of stock» and 3) getting a refund it extraordinarily difficult. My advice — stay away. If you’ve already placed an order with an «out of stock» status, report Cost Captain to your bank.

BEWAREDONOTDOBUSINESSWITHTHISCOMPANY!!! The same thing happen to me. I ordered an otter box for the phone, the Webb site told me that had it in stock. Received an email after they took the money out of my account they did have the item. They also enrolled me in their free shipping program, which I did not authorized which cost me $ 29 when I called they would not refund my money. SOBEWARE!!! DONOTDOBUSINESSWITHTHISCOMPANY

I ordered a card reader from on July 15th. With free shipping I expected the item within 7 – 10 days. Well, after 10 days I hadn’t received the item or even tracking information. So I emailed support who promptly wrote back that I would receive it within 3 – 5 days. Also she told me to expect an email when tracking was available. I did not receive the item or tracking information. Now I am at 19 days since purchase, no item, no tracking. I am very disappointed in the company and will go elsewhere in the future.
