There were 3 locations for Contigo Peru, and two of them were on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. This location has closed, but the other 2 remain open.

Inside was very dark and being a Friday night, there was only two other tables and I actually felt really uncomfortable being there. I ordered the loma saltada which was very overpriced for the small portion it gave which was about 12 – 13.95. The green hot mayo sauce was super watery. If someone finds a better Peruvian restaurant, pls let me know

So I was on my way home from Nashville, when I decided to check out an African restaurant(dont recall the name), that used to be in Norcross. In order to get to that restaurant, you need to take Peachtree Industrial and take the access road for Winters Chapel and go west. I was on the access road going north and was about to make a left onto Winter’s Chapel when I noticed out the corner of my eye Contigo Peru I. I made a detour and the rest is Sunday’s history. This place is very much a hole in the wall, and the odds of ever even seeing the restaurant are pretty slim as it is located of the P’tree Ind access road in a little strip mall, and it just blends with all the other Norcrossy stores. Its pretty spacious inside and they even have a dance floor. I went there in the afternoon on a Sunday so, there was no dancing, but it looks promising for a Saturday night when nothing a-gwaan in the the city. I have a bias toward Caribbean/Latin food and so I have fought the urge to give this place 5 stars. What I got is standard fare at a few of the Latin restaurants I have visited, but as usual it was delicious. Maduros(sweet fried plantains), Mojarra(Tilapia, fried in this case), salad with avacados, been soup, and guacamole hot sauce(I only ever recall getting this kinda sauce in Latin America, and its goooood). The staff did not speak English, and I doubt its just because it was Sunday. They do not have a website, and so you have to get there and figure out what you want; the menu is in English. The 2 ladies on staff were very nice and talked to me the whole time I sat there and waited for food. Of course there was only one other patron in the place. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I’ll be visiting again to sample more of the CARRRRRRRRNE.
