Originally posted a review meant for terminal C Chick-fil-A. This one is terminal A where the management actually cares. They contacted me to correct the situation and were very engaged in making sure that service was on point. Kudos to Robert!

Stopped by for a meal during my layover and they totally messed up my order. Thankfully my husband still liked the sandwich he was just confused on how it was called a club with no bacon or cheese. That’s because I didn’t get what I wanted. Oh well. Chick-fil-a chicken never dissapoints so at least we got some white meat chicken vs pizza on our layover.

Fast service, great prices for airport food(and still reasonable even if it weren’t in an airport), sandwiches are decently large. Tastes good.

ATLANTAAIRPORT(ATL): This is the worst Chik Fil A I’ve ever eaten at. They don’t have a full menu here, which is fine, it’s not that uncommon in airports, but is it that much extra effort to have a tortilla? When the food comes out it tastes overcooked. I’ve never experienced over fried chicken until today. The hash browns are charred as well and over salted. Then they forgot my orange juice, so I had to walk of shame back down the hallway to get it.

Expectations are always low at a food joint in any airport. I love Chick Fil-A and this was better than other burger options. Line was not too long with around 12 in front of me and three registers operating. The line moved quickly, which was impressive. Employee who took order was nice. Order came out correct and food hot. I left pleased with this airport location. A good amount of seating is in the area.

I have to say this is the most efficient and courteous chick-fil-A I have ever been to. The line was long so I almost are somewhere else. In less than 2 minutes, I was eating. Everyone was so polite, pleases and thank yous. Every member of the staff that I encountered used manners that you never see in the fast food industry. I see a lot of bad reviews, but I have to say that management must have taken them to heart and made changes. Best chicken in the airport for sure.

WOW – a lot of bad reviews. It’s a fast food place in an airport. I guess my standards for it weren’t super high. I hadn’t had breakfast and had left my house at 5:20 to catch my 6:00 flight. Heading to ground transportation from the Delta terminal and there ahead was Chik-Fil-A. Woo Hoo! I walked over, there was just a short line. They had probably 6 – 7 cashier taking orders. The young woman, Briana was reasonable friendly as she took my order for a chicken biscuit which was cheap for airport standards at $ 2.67. She took my name and I moved over to the side. Within a minute someone called my name and handed me a bag. And of course, the chicken biscuit was delicious! I thought it was fine. I’m hoping I can hit it again on my way out of Atlanta. Except that is on Sunday. When they are closed. :(

Wow, is the only thing I can say. The service is pretty rude, I’m used to airport services being on the not-so-great-side, but this one is one of the worse cashier experience ever. And it was only for 2 sandwiches. I grabbed 2 no pickle chicken sandwiches, handed it to her, she just looked at the sandwiches then asked me «are you sure that it’s the right sandwich you want» I literally went dumb and said ‘huh?’ She pointed out that it was no pickle, at first I thought she was just trying to help me out thinking I grabbed the wrong one. But when I explained it is the one I want and she still didn’t take the sandwich from my hand I was confused. Then she looks at my son and asks if I was military. I said ‘no’ she then asks me if my husband is military, I said ‘no’ then she sighs and asks me is anyone in my family I said ‘yes, my brother’… again the sandwiches are still in my hand. After all of that, I didn’t even get a discount and my chicken sandwich was extra dry. No comparison to the real deal of a restaurant. But I was happy to see across from this location, an actual Chick-Fil-A will be opening in the north terminal where get C is located :)

I grew up in the South and all of us ate Chick-fil-a. The chicken definitely pales in comparison to my Grandma’s fried chicken that’s for sure. Maybe that’s because my Grandma’s fried chicken was actually chicken – not a reprocessed meat«paste». Of course any fried food is bad for you especially if you eat it often. If you read the nutritional information on the Chick-fil-a corporate website then you will realize that they didn’t «design» this stuff to eat all the time. The bottom line is if you can’t eat this stuff every meal every day then how can they really call it «food».

For Atlanta being the home of Chik-Fil-A, their representation in the air — in terms of both presentation and flavor — leave a little to be desired. It is, however, very adept at dealing with the constant stream of people that swarm it, so I suppose it’s a necessary trade off. My transaction took literally less than a minute. Spicy chicken meal, please. She turned around, grabbed one from the rack, threw it in a bag, someone handed her some fries, she gave it to me, and swiped my card. The very model of a modern major fast food chain. Bonus points for the Coke Freestyle machine, giving me plenty of diet strawberry lemonade to wash down the starchy waffle fries.

During a layover, I wanted to try Chik fila again after about six months. The food and service are definitely better at the regular restaurants. Still a good option at the airport though.

This line went quickly, for such a long line. All I cared about was the crunchy, cheesy, fried chicken biscuit waiting for me behind the counter. The hashbrowns were hashbrowns. The coke fountain was cool(what should we expect in ATL). It had new Coke flavors, like lime, orange, raspberry? However, the Coke-a-Cola Classic tasted weird with a hint if lime.

Another ATL fast food bust. I fondly miss Chick-Fil-A’s so when I’m somewhere that has them I usually make a point of stopping by for a taste. On a 2 hour layover before flying internationally I decided to snack on a chicken sandwich and waffle fries … and of course a sweet tea. The bread on my sandwich was coated in something greasy. Being hungry, I ate it anyways. I then spent the majority of my remaining time in ATL visiting the bathrooms in the Delta Crown Room in Concourse E … which turned out to be the terminating point of this meals journey. Thank you for flying … through me.
