Let them measure and then then try on multiple sizes as fits across styles can vary. They also will fulfill any requests you may have (ship to home or store/​complimentary display shoe trees, etc…).

Went in store and was greeted, and helped by Soleil. She was very attentive, and actually told me a lot of things about shoes that i didn’t know. The store was very clean, and the staff was very clean-​cut. Will definitely shop there again. Even if you don’t know about Allen Edmonds shoes, go to this store, and ask for Soleil and i guarantee you will not leave empty handed. Bare in mind the shoes are not cheap, in price, nor quality. But they are worth every penny!!! Take it from 1 satisfied customer!!!

Allen Edmonds is located in the quiet, upscale Park Place Shopping Center, the same center that houses Alon’s, McKendrick’s, Café Intermezzo, H. Stockton and others. Given its location, it’s not just another store that you stumble upon at the mall. I think most people enter AE with a purpose and are already familiar with the brand. In short, that brand means: for men, shoes, belts, leather, perfect fit, high quality, classic designs, made in USA. All at a price, of course (the very popular Park Avenue model retails for $ 345).
I walked in and was immediately greeted by Lupe. I explained to him early on that all I wanted was to check/​confirm my fit and see if a particular last (
) might be better or best for my feet. He performed the measurement and let me try on a Strand model to test. So comfortable. Although that day I was just there to get measured and not actually purchase, Lupe was helpful throughout the process and I never felt any sort of commission-​less hatred toward me nor pressure to buy at all. These guys are good. «Let me give you my card» also even included the fall catalog and a small, sturdy, plastic AE shoe horn (wonder if these are made in the US as well). Ugh, these guys are damn good.
AE products are sold in other stores, but this is the only AE store in the state of Georgia. To give you an idea of how hard they can be to come across, in surrounding states, there is one (plus an outlet store) in Florida, one (plus an outlet store) in Alabama and none in Tennessee nor South Carolina. Being so fortunate to have one here, even if you’re not in the market for shoes or belts, you should stop in to just have a look. This is the stuff you just might smash your piggy bank for. Maybe 20 piggy banks.

$ 400 for a pair of shoes? I t seems its not just women who like to buy expensive shoes. I am sure men, however, refer to these shoe purchases as «investments» and speak of making a quality purchase etc. I am also sure the dress for success gurus would say you must literally «walk» the talk when it comes to movin’ on up in business.
I will be honest, I am way to cheap to be a regular here. Another customer asked how much a belt was, and the sales associate replied that it was $ 118. He said «that’s not bad.» I wanted to whip him with it. A friend brought me here after seeing the deteriorating condition of my bobos week after week, and decided serious action must be taken before i eventually showed up barefoot. Obviously if you spend $ 400 on a shoe you are going to take care of them better, maybe even shine them once in a while.
So how do you know if a shoe is really worth the money? They did not have my size available in the style I wanted. The sales associate checked and there were no stores that had any in stock, so she offered to HAVE THEM MADE! That my friends, is how you know a shoe is worth the money!
So right now, somewhere in Wisconsin, there’s a guy making my shoes. In 3 – 4 weeks they will arrive, made just for me.
I wonder if I can write these off on my taxes.

In terms of this specific store, the location is a little hard to find. It’s tucked near the back of one of the corridors separating the buildings. Once you’re inside, the service here is impeccable. There’s a small staff, so there may be a slight wait if there are a few customers already in the shop. But it is well worth the wait as the attention allotted to each customer ensures that you leave with the perfect shoe, and the perfect fit.
