Excellent redneck burger and 10 mild wings. Friendly staff. The food was plated with excellent visualization of both items. Different sporting events on each tv. Music not too loud. Nice, friendly and clean atmosphere!

About 16 months ago, I dined at this place and ate a chipotle chicken ranch wrap with fries and one dessert that I shared with two other people, and just after I left a foreign creature unbeknownst to me suddenly found its way into my lower stomach, moaning and attempting to push its way out from the inside. Unfortunately, this monster forced me to stop at Academy Sports across the street to use the restroom before I went about my merry way. I, wary of the fact that I may be possessed once again, returned yesterday and ordered the same thing. Luckily, I was not, so Loco’s has redeemed itself. This place is a great, local restaurant to try, with fairly cheap prices. However, the portion sizes are not very large, and the staff here is not overly friendly.

The good news is – they’re open late. The bad news is they will try to seat everyone in the bar room where it is loud and the drunks shout at the TV screens. The service is mediocre. The food comes out slowly. The portion sizes are small. The wings are tiny. Worst thing is their soda/​tea prices are some of the highest in town. Pretty soon your beverage will cost you $ 3 here.

I’ve been to several locations and this one was by far the nicest and cleanest. The wings are really good and so is the rest of the menu. If it weren’t for so many options in the area I would go back more often. Definitely worth the trip. A good place to watch the Dawgs play.

I used to want come here all the time. I also ordered delivery often. But ever since they took the Chicken Parmesan sub off the menu, I could care less for the place. It’s noisy and the servers don’t have the best attitude. I never go anymore, and don’t find myself missing it.

This location of Locos needs to seriously work on table service. Staff are not good. Over 30 minutes to get a sandwich, place was empty and when it did arrive it was cold. Really?

The food was really good. The service at first was on the rocks as the server brought us our app before our beers but we quickly reminded her and she admitted that she forgot. After her friendly reminder she was on top of her game. We will def be coming back to watch a game.

I will start by saying I have only tried the wings here… And they are awesome. They are a little on the small side, but that’s the way I like them. The smaller ones tend to fry up a little crispier. Nothing is worse than a big, fat, soggy ass chicken wing (think Hooters).
They have a great assortment of flavors. I tend to do the lemon pepper or the infamous lemon-​yaki which is lemon pepper mixed with teriyaki. Those are the best.
The service is always fast and friendly. They have a pretty good assortment of beer so if you’re like me and hate the mass produced yellow fizzy beers, they will have something for you that you will like.

Went here to watch some football and really enjoyed my time spent there. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and the food was delicious. They have some of the best wings I have had in a long time. Overall I was pleased with my experience and I definitely recommend them

The wings at locos are by far the best thing on the menu. The rest of the menu is pretty mediocre, and nothing really jumps off the page.
Happy hour is decent, it’s a good place to grab a beer after work. I would assume just leaving it at that and going elsewhere for a meal.

Not a fan of Locos. Due to coupons we have visited a couple of times but we always regret it. So much better food in Athens. Any place that charges for sauces or extra condiments isn’t in the game for the right reasons. Making an extra .15 shouldn’t out weigh customer service. I complained when I noticed I was charged for my side of ranch and the waiter wouldnt even get the manager to explain to me why I was charged. It’s not about the money but the principle. I should have been told about the up charge and the fact that they didn’t care that I wasn’t happy showed their true colors. Won’t be back.

Piss poor service! Actually we never even got served after 30 minutes. We sat in the outdoor area, seated by a hostess. After asking 2 servers if they had our table, we finally walked out. On our way out, the manager, who had been standing out there smoking the entire time, asked how everything was? How can 3 servers and a manager not notice a group of 4 guys wanting to eat and drink at their restaurant? And this is a corporate store!

American food. Not great. Burgers aren’t very special. I’ve had two that were lukewarm. Salads weren’t too fresh.
Best things I’ve had here were the chicken fingers and fries.
The wait staff is nice. Its fine for a large group.

Soooo whoever fixed my lemon pepper wings tonight, need to become the next CEO. I’ve never tasted such lemon pepper goodness.

During waiting on our food, I encountered an employee in the rest room sitting in one of the stalls, he was smoking, and on the phone cussing at what sounded to be his girlfriend. After taking care of «business» I witnessed this employee standing at the mirror and still on the phone but had finished his smoke break in the bathroom. I noticed his name tag to say CHRIS as I watched my hands. The worst part of this is that CHRIS did not wash his hands after yelling into his phone while sitting in a stall. CHRIS continued back to work without washing his hands. It was disturbing to share with my friends. How gross

I should’ve probably reviewed this one long ago, since my Athens area relatives get take out from this location off and on whenever I visit them. Never quite dined at this Loco’s location, so my review isn’t about that aspect.
Sandwiches are reliable, and not bad to get here. I’d stay away from ordering the tacos and quesadillas, though. Dunno how this Loco’s managed to screw up something as bad as that and make it tasteless, but somehow they did.

First the chips were old, then the sandwich was dry. Also, the waitress was more interested in visiting with friends than waiting on us. Couldn’t even get my water refiled. This restaurant is not what it once was. We wont be going back.

Went here last week for dinner and was pleasantly surprised!
I ordered a chicken chipotle sandwich from their «smokehouse» section of the menu and was a little apprehensive about what that would entail. I knew their fries were delicious from the other location I’d visited so I went with that for a side.
The sandwich consisted of shredded chicken (flavorful but not really «smoked») with a chipotle sauce on a bun. The sauce had a bit of kick to it and there was also some melted cheese on the sandwich, which went well with everything else. Of course, the bacon helped too! Their fries were crispy and delicious as usual, though I wish there was a signature dipping sauce for them. I am not a fan of ketchup so my fries were a bit lonely. The sandwich was a bit messy and I had to get at it with a knife and fork but surprisingly, that didn’t interfere with the tastiness of the meal ;)
Overall, nice place. Casual, good service, decent amount of parking available and probably a less crowded location than the others around town. For $ 9 for a sandwich and fries, I don’t mind going back once in a while!
