An adorable bakery that is as good it looks! They make speciality doughnuts with cereal toppings that are fun and delicious. I also really enjoy their cupcakes– they have multiple flavors that are unique but yet they cover the basic flavors as well!

Typically, we have like eating here. The problem with our last visit was some bad«rainbow beef». It was a take out order, so it was not discovered until I arrived home. Although they did offer to give a free sandwich on my next visit, I have chosen to not go back.

I don’t order coffee or donuts here, but the cupcakes are great — they usually have a few normal flavors(chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) and at least one interesting creation(Guiness/whiskey cupcakes, German chocolate, etc), and they’re not unwieldy and huge. The lemon bars are great, as are most of the other items in the case. I love getting the orange juice or the spinach salad with chicken salad on top. And the breakfast sandwiches, on biscuits or sourdough. The lunch sandwiches are simple and hit the spot when I’m in the mood for them. I get why they don’t do it anymore, but I loved the Ike at Night — seriously some of the best burgers in town. Glad to have it around!

This place is an adorable little café to go to for a nice, fresh, breakfast or lunch at a low price. I was able to get a delicious bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for only $ 4. However, don’t come here with a large group, for the dining area is a bit crammed.

Finally found my go-to donut joint in Athens! Yay! The pimiento cheese biscuit will be an indulgent addiction too. The service, coffee, frittata and other baked goods are incredible too. Ive been meaning to stop in for awhile — and am so glad I finally did. Cant wait to take friends and family when they visit from Ohio.

I love the«small-town» feel. Locally roasted coffee and hand-made pastries are hard to beat! Long live the Lumberjack Donut!

The place is really small n cute. I haven’t tried any of their deserts yet but I’ve been there about three to five times now. I’ve gotten their bacons egg and spinach on a bagel and it’s wonderful. Their sesame bagel is really good. The coffee is nothing spectacular but good enough. The customer service could be better. I’ve always had the same girl ring me up and on my first visit she was a bit rude and rushed my order assuming I already knew what I wanted. She also forgot to bring me my water despite promising to do so. I waited like 10 – 15 mins after reminding them. I’ve tried the place a few time since my first visit and I would go again if I was in the area.

What an adorable little place! We were in Athens a couple of a weeks ago for a concert and needed a quick breakfast before we headed back home the next morning. We drove by a few places, but they were completly packed so we kept driving. We stumbled upon this place online and decided to try it out. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff members. The place is very small — a couple of tables here and there and a little bar area in front of the windows with a few chairs. After perusing the menu and the pastry case for a few minutes, we decided on getting a bacon breakfast sandwich, a jalapeño, ham, and cheese quiche, and a couple of their donuts. The egg dishes were tasty, nothing to write home about, but they hit the spot. The highlight of this trip was definitely the donuts. I’m more of a traditional donut eater and went with the blueberry cake donut. Sooo yummy. Makes me sad that this place isn’t closer. The gf, who is a bit more adventurous in her confectionary endeavors, had the cinnamon toast crunch donut. I opted not to try that one, but from all accounts, it was AMAZING. Ike and Jane is definitely a winner. They can count on a return trip from me whenever I’m back in Athens-town.

Buttery biscuit, the best I’ve had in Athens, with large amounts of high quality bacon. Add an iced coffee, and I dare not try anything else on the menu because these 2 items are too perfect!

Did you know it has become a rule that you can’t leave Athens, even if you only come every two years, without stopping by Ike & Jane’s? If not, hit it twice the next time. Where else can you self consciously bust out a Godfather accent just to save 10% on a donut. Give that 10% back to cashier that has spent the morning listening to a**hats attempt Godfather accents all morning. Clean bathrooms, fun atmosphere and great food. Don’t get rear ended backing out into Prince Ave. trying to eat a donut…

Wonderful cake-donuts! Blueberry and spice donuts are the best!

It was alright. We went out of our way to stop and the only reason I wanted to stop was for the variety of donuts, which did not have that much of a variety. The donuts were a little on the dry side. My mother said that the apple fritter was good although slightly greasy. Kind of wish we hadn’t had drove out of our way for it.

Ike & Jane’s is quite the cutie. Hanging around being adorable and awesome. You can kinda feel the love that goes into this little café. First time coming here we got a salad with whatever was fresh that day and a jalepeno sausage biscuit, I can’t entirely recall. Wasn’t a huge fan of the dressing, but the salad was filling, light, and fresh as advertised with carrot ribbons and celery bits. In the end I always stop here for vegan zucchini & carrot bread with tea. Though lately, I’m unsure if it’s being fully cooked because it’s really solid at the bottom of the slice. It is edible, just not bread-like. They also have some pretty amazing doughnuts and lots of other baked treats though not all vegan, but some gluten free– give or take the day. Space is relatively minimal. Still workable though with a bar and some chairs. Albeit plug-ins are kinda sparse. Parking to the side can get tight too, but they have lots of room in back. My favorite part of the café is the daily 10% off tips. Usually random things like«get 10% off if you pretend you’re on a pogo stick» or «act like a bear.» It adds a bit of character for me at least, despite never attempting them myself. In the end, if someone needs to bear hug me for 10% off. I guess, I’d be okay with that too. Haha.

Ike & Jane has a great breakfast selection which includes some very creative house made donuts, made from scratch biscuits, bagels, fresh breakfast casseroles, and squeezed juices. They also offer a full coffee bar with espresso drinks galore. The staff is always extremely nice, and helpful. Posted on a board behind the register; there is always an opportunity to get 10% off your check by acting out the charades of the day or completing a courageous task.

Always love going to Ike and Jane’s, the lavender sweet tea is delicious and their sandwiches are great. The doughnuts, while interesting, always feel a bit heavy to me, but the rest of the food is great!

Ike & Jane’s is definitively one of the cutest coffee shops ever. The prime Normal Town location is always filled with retro charm, cheer, warmth and plenty of donuts. What more could you ever want? I’ve been to Ike and Jane several times and have always had great luck. In addition to their extra special donuts, they have plenty of other pastries & breakfast delights that are hard to ignore like sweet tarts and muffins or savory scones and frittatas. They also have a sizable food menu. I personally enjoy their bagels. Any of the breakfast sandwiches, which are typically served on toast or a biscuit, can be served on a bagel or croissant for $ 1 extra. Their coffee is also quite tasty. Inside they have a few tables that are fairly packed together. Most people are enjoying conversation and it isn’t necessarily quiet. They also have outside tables for nicer days. The line can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, but it moves fairly quickly so I would recommend sticking it out. Every day you can get 10% off your order when you complete the task on the wall. I’ve done everything from a traditional jig to sing a song from The Lion King to get this discount. So worth it. Whether you need a quick coffee, bread for the week or just a quaint place to enjoy a book and a donut, Ike & Jane will serve you well.

I was in town for the UGA MIddleschool Bandfest with my son and I stopped in for breakfast after a bike ride thru athens. The jalepeno, bacon, egg and cheese on sour dough bread(baked fresh) was very tasty accompanied by the dark roast of the day. You have your choice of bread selection(biscuit or croissant). I decided to try the blueberry bar as the case of pastries was very inviting — it was not fresh and tasted a bit on the old side – it was the last one on the plate in the case(maybe bad choice as there were lemon bars, nut bar, cupcakes and more that also caught my eye — but it was breakfast! I did try the red velvet doughnut and the chocolate glazed and they were both great — my son will attest to it! I will come back next time

My fiancé and I had stopped in Athens for the night(stayed with some friends) and the morning that we were leaving my friend recommended going to this place for breakfast. Absolutely loved it! The look and feel is precious! The breakfast sandwich was delicious, the coffee was delightful, honestly I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

Why go to Starbucks, when you can have great coffee in this adorable little coffee shop?! If you do the Robot — which I did — you get 10% off, to boot! There’s something homey and sweet about this place. Help yourself to coffee, refills, too — to wash down their amazing desserts. The four of us split three items: tart lemon bars — my fave! — gluten-free peanut butter brownies(OMG!!) and blueberry crumble. This place warrants a repeat visit… or ten! See for yourself.
