Come in on a Sunday Morning for breakfast and a coffee. Was met with rude condescending costumer service. The cashier told me to leave the area before I even paid. What kind of logic is that? After waiting for my drink my name was not on the beverage and I asked this isn’t my name but is this my drink. I was met with a snotty«it’s been there a while» with an eye roll. I have also been to Starbucks in Ditmars and was treated horrible and was refused the bathroom. I would like to get the regional manager in line so he can get his crew in line.

Starbucks is Starbucks, there’s no reason to pretend it’s anything but what it is. I wanted to leave a review because of the cute and super friendly staff(there was a young guy and a girl talking about tea Sunday morning 5⁄8) that were here when I had gotten in from a red-eye flight and needed to sit and have some tea somewhere with wifi. Like I said, Starbucks is Starbucks, but the staff is the turning point between a blasé coffee run and a good coffee buzz. You’re rockin it guys

The thing about this place is that it is hit or miss. You’re going to get your usual Starbucks coffee but the customer service needs work. There will either be a really nice person behind the counter and a mean barista or the opposite. This morning it was the opposite the person at the counter was disgruntled about me asking for soy. It was like everything about my order made her even more grumpy. Ha! She was not pleasant and my experience there was disappointing. So if you’re on the run and need a Starbucks it’ll do the job but not far away is Astoria Coffee which far surpasses everything about this place.

Steve at this location is an A-hole. Horrible customer service. Spends all day talking with female customers and is extremely rude to the male customers. Dude took 15 minutes with 2 people on line. Trying to Mac dem digits and selling coffee doesn’t work to well. Focus!!! I kind of prefer to shop at the Starbucks in the city. College kids with a certain level of Focus. This Starbucks doesn’t have a city feel to it. More of a Dunkin Donuts w/a parking lot feel… THANKSSTEVE!

The coffee good, same as any Starbucks. But they were blasting Christmas music, so couldn’t do any work or stand being in there for long :/

Great and convenient ! Perfect location for on the go! The line can get a quite bit long but only during rush hour

This Starbucks location is convenient but that is it. It is small compared to other Starbucks. The staff is friendly but slightly forced to be. I’ve only gotten the cool lime refresher and its been good. So 3 stars it is.

It’s a beautiful starbucks, but seriously slow. Very very slow. Give yourself an extra 10 mins before getting coffee for work

I love the location for this Starbucks. Smart having it right next to the train. This particular store is small, so there’s not a lot of seating or outlets. Best time of day to go is late morning/early afternoon for obvious reasons. The setup is pretty intuitive: it’s too small to have any kind of roped off lines, but all you have to do is follow the wall and you get everything you need in order. The service staff is always very friendly and they work quickly. Good Starbucks to have on your area.

Great location for a quick pick up! The place has room for lots of people to lounge and sip and the best part yet, it’s located right under the bridge for people just arriving in from subway!

I was SOEXCITED when i saw a starbucks was moving just 2 blocks from my apt, but this location is a total bummer. There is almost ALWAYS a looong line and the staff is totally unconcerned with expediency. It does seem like way more people order food at this location than at other starbucks and i can see how that can slow them down, but it’s super annoying to wait like 10 minutes for drip coffee. i feel like half the people who work at this starbucks have never been to a starbucks before — there’s a pervasive look of cluelessness here.

She gave me my hot grande latte without the cup sleeve. It was hot and I can’t hold it and leave as a normal human being. So I asked her to give me one. She did and said«Ok, but we only give the sleeve if the drink is at certain degree.» That was apparently a terrible excuse, since I have never see anyone measure the exact temperature of a drink in any Starbucks. AND it was JUST a REGULARDAMNHOTGRANDELATTE. So my Question is: how hard it is for her to say«Sorry, here you go.» That was all it needs.

I ordered a small iced coffee w no ice and the barista handed me half a cup of coffee and refused to fill it up. That is my normal drink, and I’ve never had a Starbucks say they could only give me half a cup of coffee because I didn’t want ice in it. If this is a new rule of theirs, they’ve officially lost me as a customer.

At first, the service was slow but after that it was getting better. The staff are nice, the venue is pretty clean and they always know my name since I’ve been there few times. My coffee comes always great just the way I love it. It’s a great a place to go for since its under the train. It’s also around the corner and it’s pretty near too.

I always stop by for a cup of Clover coffee before I catch a bus back home. Staff are pretty friendly. Love the Sweet Receipt deal since I can get some pastry to go along with my coffee. Slow service? Well, they have to brew my coffee every time for my order, so that is expected. ;) Anyway, it’s a great spot to wait for a Q19 bus to East Elmhurst.

I hate that the new demographic of the ‘hood has brought a Starbucks to us. However, can’t review it without trying it, and have to be fair. The place has a good layout, a bit different(in a very good way) from other Starbucks(kind of like Pret a Manger and Starbies had a baby), ample space, clean, plenty of natural light, though good mood lighting/window tinting to provide a chill/borderline cozy modern environment, and amazingly friendly/courteous staff. I’ve never had my drink made so quickly in any Starbies. And the drink flavoring didn’t suffer from it. It was perfect. As much as I want to gripe about this place, and wish we didn’t have this competition for our local businesses, I really have to give them props for running a tight, welcoming business. I’ll still be supporting Mom & Pop’s over them, and encourage folks to do the same. But this Starbies is actually giving the same friendly service our neighborhood deserves, and providing jobs for some hard working, diligent folk, which really helps take away from the Corporate Overlord feel most stores in this chain tend to have.

My love and hate of Starbucks contradiction goes for this recently opened location as for most the others. On the corner(close to the subway station) it is easily accessible by walking to and at times the metered parking right outside is not as busy as one would think. They even have a wheelchair ramp. Looking from outside it’s a bit dark looking in and inside it’s dimly lit. the décor is nice, seems modern with it’s center seating and lined window seating(stools and tables). What I dislike about this location is that during peak hours it gets busy but not extremely busy for it took forever to get my Java Chip Frappuccino. Matter of fact there were five people waiting, not including myself. The line to order was short. And with only two people just finished ordering their drink, it’s an unnecessary long wait. I like this Starbucks because of that vibrant atmosphere of caffeine most produce and the quality of their coffee but the contradiction is that I dislike what comes with that atmosphere: all that busyness. This location seems to keep up with the trends a bit. The shelves has organic milk(chocolate too) and I think I saw some fruit on the shelves as a couple things. The shelves are lined with a bunch of these gourmet or trendy juices/drinks, sandwiches that actually looked fresh and of course those deserts to go with the coffee. All seems neat though.

I came here on Sunday to do some work and I was able to snag the last available table(it was 12:30pm and the place was pretty crowded). The cappuccino I ordered was ready a minute after I paid but it wasn’t that great, I should have stuck with a pike or blonde roast coffee. The staff here is friendly and I like the location of this Starbucks because there’s a lot going on outside the window. If you want to come here to work I recommend getting here before noon because most of the people at the tables were working before I got there and were still there when I left(2.5 hours later).

This Starbucks is practically brand new. It looks great inside: well designed, nice modern décor, plenty of seating. Staff is great, too — but it is still a Starbucks.
