Been here a couple of times, usually good service but lately the workers don’t know what they’re doing and half way thru making someone’s order they walk away and just leave it there without finishing it, about 3 people in front of me waited a good 6 – 8 minutes for their drink, they messed up my order, I asked for cream and 1 sugar in my iced coffee but they gave me a unsweetened tea with whipped cream instead… Ok –_–

Coffee is what you would expect at Starbucks, pretty good and pretty expensive. The seating area is nice, if you can manage to get a seat. This location is full of people who dont buy anything and occupy a sofa chair for 3 hours. One guy kept filling up his cup from home with milk and sugar from the condiments section and took out a little box of serial and added in his cup. I know Starbucks is pricey butcommonman.

I love this starbucks! I’m a starbucks fanatic amd so is my fiancé. The coffee is great majority of the time, the staff here is so friendly, funny, cool, attentive and just all around great!!! The only issue is an employee who(idk if she’s still there) but she is SORUDE and NASTY we Can’t stand her. she has such an attitude and she gives dirty looks etc. One time, cause I asked for something, she said to her co worker I’m not in the mood to argue or tell anyone off right now or I would(meaning towards me and my fiancé) and I was like is she serious, cause she got the wrong person honey lol her name is KIM… she is a Caucasian elder women. Other than her, everyone is cool. ;)

The seating is good, especially if you are in to sit down and get some work done. The staff however seem too busy to have a second to listen to you and take the correct order.

Always clean and fast service! Even on the weekday mornings and weekends! Stop in and have a drink or sit around in the plenty of seats they have! We need more of these in Astoria!

Very friendly staff, one lady was a little rude but the cashier definitely made up for it. My drink tasted perfect!

If you are a Starbucks’ fan, love their coffee and are looking for your neighborhood coffee spot! This is definitely the BEST one. Love the way the furniture is disposed in the ambient is casual and functional, sort of a blend of styles, a little of industrial design added in combination with a casual style. They are fast to get your order and it’s sharply right! Besides that all the baristas working there are cool, warm and welcoming. *which is for sure a must when it comes to choose the place to go when you wake up on a Monday morning. Starbucks might be seen as a chain mostly, but this one has its neighborhood feeling appeal. Favorite neighborhood coffee spot, is a must; so try it out!

Barely a three star review. But what makes this typical Starbucks a three star spot is its convenience being close to my gym, the train, and where I live. Other than that, the internet/wi-fi here is ludicrously slow. Even if you’re there insanely early in the morning it’s still slow and I’ve connected to this wi-fi with three different computers and none of them really connected. In addition to that it also gets insanely packed here. Good luck finding a spot to shit close to lunch time and then after lunch time. There also seems to be regulars here who take over the seats for hours on end. It’s to be expected, but it’d be cool if they’d at least increase the wi-fi speed in the case you’re actually lucky with finding a seat and intend to go online. The baristas are nice for the most part. The whole wrong name thing isn’t a big deal. But there was this one time one of the baristas gave me the nastiest attitude about her asking me if I wanted my lemon pound cake warmed up. I never asked for it to get warmed up… so why were you trippin’ about the iced glazed part melting? I never asked for it to be warmed up. But they’re nice for the most part. Lastly, it’d be nice if there was some more space too. It just feels so cramped in there. Oh wait, the pastries and food there is way overpriced. But I guess we should all expect that from one of the largest chains in North America. You’re better off getting your pastries from the slew of local stores within a few blocks.

Got a seat on a not so crowded Sunday evening close to closing time on one of the comfy single seat couches up front by the window to do some short reading. Nothing has changed since my first visit, still packed with people. The rich scent of coffee often present as one walks closer to the grinding and brewing. The drawings show where the beans come, accessories to buy, café mixed in with a bar like atmosphere with tables jumbled together and stool seating. I normally don’t diversify too much from the four drinks I order all the time from Starbucks, e.g. Frappuccino, Caramel Macchiato, Brew of the Day-Pike Place, etc… and Ice Coffee. But today on the rack, glad one can buy it by the pack and on the menu was the«Reserve» brew being labelled«Exotic, Rare & Exquisite», so I am a coffee lover and I order the Colombia Montebonito off the«Reserve» menu(comes in a tall and hot cup), for $ 3.50, add tax to that, being a tad under $ 4. Supposedly brewed in a different way and well reserved. It is a little better than the regular Pike Place blend in that it had deeper coffee flavor and tasted a bit less watered down, it also did live up to the name of having that chocolatey and floral taste, so it’s not just a gimmick, for those that actually enjoy a good bean. Yes, enjoyable in aroma and robust in taste served black before any sugar or milk was added. Over all, I still like the place for the layout minus the scattered tables is a good touch, offerings as a coffee place can be with the New York Times, okay wifi and the semi-comfortable seating. But for a Starbucks, especially one near an area with decent retail traffic, I already expect the 2 out 10 chances of finding a place to sit.

Friendly staff and clean store! You have a good chance of getting a seat whether at a table or the counter. My one con is that the music is always WAYTOOLOUD! Very hard to get work done that way. Have told this to staff repeatedly as fellow customers are often in agreement but the next time it’s always back to loud. Please change this!

This Starbucks is right next to the gym I used to go to. Nothing could be more convenient than working out, going for coffee next door and then getting on the subway. I like their seating but it’s cluttered. The waiting area for your drink is nice because you can stare down the barista while leaning on the counter. It can get crowded though when multiple people are waiting. The drinks aren’t worth reviewing. The staff is nice.

Nice Starbucks, but because it’s in a busy area, there’s never any empty seats available even though there’s plenty of seating.

This is a great Broadway, Astoria spot to get some work done. There’s a big street view window, allowing in sunlight so you don’t feel lost to the world. Yet, the Starbucks coffeehouse mix overhead is slightly upbeat but subdued enough that I can keep it in the peripheral. There’s lots of seating, including a large wooden table with 8 seats, a couple of lounge chairs, several bistro tables, and two long bars with stools. The store is busy all day, but really hopping on the weekends, making it sometimes difficult to find a seat or to log into the wifi. There’s always open seats on a weekday, however. I’ve been really liking the Refreshers that come in a can and have 90 calories. I pour it over ice! It is very refreshing, indeed.

I’d like to say this is the best Starbucks location in the area. There’s a lot of seating for lounging or doing work. The line can get pretty long, but the baristas are super quick and efficient. Theyre upbeat in the morning which is great, because I always get there felling like a zombie and leave like the energizer bunny. All I really want to know is… WHYSTHEDOORSOHEAVY?!

I won’t review their product because it’s typically the same across the board, but I will compliment this Starbucks on its phenomenal location, great service, and fantastic layout. They have a great open space here and plenty of tables to accommodate the number of visitors to this location. Being right next to the subway is priceless, as well. Morning coffee before heading into the city?! OKAY!
