Johnny did an amazing job covering up a not so amazing tattoo in my wrist that I got when I was a dumb kid. He was able to take my idea and create something that could cover the original ink without overtaking my whole arm. For someone whose youthful bravery is way behind her, and was also nervous about going under the needle again after 10 years, I can honestly say the experience couldn’t have been better — the shop clean with a mellow vibe, there were some good tunes in the background, and Johnny’s work couldn’t have been more efficient or professional! He even had me back for a touch up to make sure it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend him!

Perfect! Johnny took my vision and brought it to life! I wanted many personal elements incorporated into my tattoo… he designed them all into a beautiful, cohesive picture. Johnny and his beautiful wife, Suzie, put me at ease w their warm hospitality. He’s shop is so cool!!! Best part… Barely felt anything… Johnny is a true master at his craft! Thank you so much!!!

Had my first tattoo ever done here and it was the best experience! I met with Gallo a few days beforehand to go over exactly what I wanted, which made the whole experience infinitely better. He is very thorough and very talented! The place is clean and I felt incredibly relaxed the whole time. Will definitely have him do any additional work in the future.

Dude. I don’t care where my life takes me geographically. I’m pretty sure I will travel back to Gallo from ANY place on this planet to make sure I am inked by the Master!
I’m on my third tatt, but this was my first time with Gallo. The piece I’m currently getting done is a big one, though his pricing is astounding for this amount of work! He was able to pound out 3-​hours worth of work in only 2-​hours. I felt at home. He’s charming. His wife is awesome. And they just broke out their guitars, his wife strummed, my friend and I sang/​improvised, we just had a blast! Great energy, which is the foundation of a good tattoo.
And his technique is impeccable. I’ve been through much worse pain with much smaller tattoos. We’re only halfway done, and his artwork/​shading is amazing. I’m enthralled, and can’t recommend the man highly enough!!!

Got tattoo’d by Gallo last night. Not my first tattoo. Went in with some ideas and he drew it up perfectly! Got it done on my rib cage and although I heard stories about rib cage tattoos being the most painful, he somehow made it bearable. Awesome experience, highly recommended, this guy knows what he is doing!

Gallo was good. He was pretty pissed off it was my first tattoo. He warned me about ruining his rep with the original tattoo I had wanted and I had customized it some more so that I would not ruin his rep. I got a tattoo on my wrist and it was pain-​free and quick and it came out AWESOME!!! Def. going back to do my other wrist as planned.

Gallo does not screw around, and I mean that in a good way! I got my eyebrow pierced. I wanted a hoop and he gave me about three good reasons why a barbell was better, so I went with his opinion. A little sore now, but totally happy with my new piercing. Recommended as much as possible.

I went into the shop last week to get pierced not knowing what I was in for, I was greeted by a totally friendly girl at the counter who was extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions I had.
I’ve been getting piercings for over 15 years now and Gallo was great. This guy doesn’t mess around and is FAST. He might not be for everyone (some of the kiddies enjoy having their hand held and whatnot) but I am definitely going back for more.
NOTE: Although Painless Steel Tattoo has awesomely cheap prices for piercings ($ 40 for my nose), they do not do all kinds.
