If they gave you more for your money, I’d give them four stars in a heartbeat, and make them my new #1 Italian delivery spot. But this is Queens. And for this Astoria dude, charging $ 15 before tax/tip for a small(like…equivalent to two hand pies for a guy my size… albeit REALLY delicious hand pies!) calzone with only three add-ins? That’s twice as much(in terms of volume-to-cost) as the most expensive wood-oven place I’ve ordered from in Midtown East and/or Yorkville. So this dude isn’t likely to order again without a serious discount code or credit to offset said cost. Thankfully, they serve up one of the best calzones I’ve had in more than a hot minute. Perfect, thin, crispy, flavorful crust, perfect blend of ricotta & mozzarella, proper balance of innards(spicy sausage, pancetta, and broccoli rabe). Wood-fired, proper char, and delivered within a reasonable time frame. Atrocious price scale. Great product.

Really good pizza! Loved the crust. Nice and thin and crunchy. The server was super sweet. The ambiance is nice as well and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be back

Pizza — 18′ margarita is $ 20. Which is kinda pushing it in terms of price for me. I feel like it’s a little pricey. I would really only order the pizza again. The sauce and cheese are good and the crust is thin and crispy — but a bit dry and overcooked. Fried calamari — see my picture — $ 12 for not very much. I think the owners need to eat at other Italian places and see what a standard portion of fried calamari looks like elsewhere. It wasn’t very good and I wouldn’t order again. It was really salty and rubbery. Not very crispy. The Sauce was good.

This is my fave local pizza spot. Their pizza has a super thin crust, which I love(it makes me feel less fat after devouring a personal pie) and it is really high quality. My fave is the Roberto Jr., while hubs loves their buffalo chicken pie. Oh and their white pie is super delicious also! Yum.

This place was alright. My boyfriend and our toddler decided to take a walk down Broadway and find a place to eat. We decided to give Bartolinos a try. I was a little confused, it seems to one big restaurant split up into three stores — with a door to travel between them all. The first thing that annoyed me was they didn’t have high chairs. I really don’t like casual places that don’t cater to children. We ordered a ceased salad to start, which was average. I like the freshly shaved parm VS cheap grated– but I could have used some more. We decided to split a large margarita and it was alright, nothing too spectacular but wasn’t bad. With sodas, the pizza and salad I feel like with tip and tax our check was like 50 bucks. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I may give them another shot in the future with a delivery– maybe try the carbonara pie I have heard about. Will update if my experience is any better!

Being from Ohio, I’ve always heard that New York has the best pizza. So far, I hadn’t been impressed… until now. By far, hands down the best pizza I have ever had. Everything from the amazing crust to the most flavorful sauce I have tasted, I could not recommend a better pizza. In addition to the pizza, and just as important to me, the customer service and care that everyone from the owner on down showed to my guests and me was unmatched. I will be back each and every time I come back to NY. Trust me, you will not regret frequenting this establishment.
