I took my daughter there this friday. customer services is horrible. We felt rushed. The cashier was like on high speed mode. As looked around while my daughter placed our order I saw a total of 6 people including ourselves. Not sure why the nessesary rushing. :/

This is turning into our after activity spot on Saturdays. The staff is always very nice, and the food is fresh compared to other fast food restaurants. The fact that you can see directly into the kitchen gives you confidence on how your food is being handled.

The food here is great. When im in the mood for a hardy meal this is my spot. I would recommend five guys all who love burgers.

This location is okay. I wish they would use a new buns vendor, because they are always soggy. I throw either the top or bottom out(which ever is soggier). I was creeped out by the employees though at this location because as I was getting peanuts I felt someone watching me and I looked up a couple of the people in the kitchen were staring at me. It was weird. I just stared back and they all looked away. I have no idea what that was about. It only happened once. The place is usually empty too and quiet. Not my first choice for places to eat in this shopping center, but not too bad either.

Disappointing. I am a big five guys fan but recently I have been very disappointed with this location. The past two times I have made an online order I have received my food wrong. I have ordered on both occasions 1 cheeseburger regular and 1 hamburger lettuce wrap. I am lactose intolerant, and both times my burger lettuce wrap has had cheese on it. Unfortunately, both times I was in a hurry and did not check through to make sure they made me the correct food and did not realize until I had gotten to my destination. When I called the manager was not very sympathetic and told me to drive back and they would make me a new one, no offer for a refund and no apology. It seems as if the people they have working are not reading the order through. I do not think I will be using this five guys that often if I dont have to, I would much prefer the chipotle next door or the wing stop a few stores up, both places which have never gotten my order wrong.

Burgers are great but the speed of an online order needed to improve. Perhaps it was a fluke. However, If it’s a first timer’s experience, it can be devastating.

I write reviews for a lot of Five Guys, but this one’s my work horse, my go-to joint. It never seems to be busy, even at lunch time, and the staff are friendly, fast and efficient. I’ve never had anything less than FG perfection here. Sure, it’s tempting with Chipotle next door, but how can one resist a little cheeseburger that is the purest essence of happiness?

The burgers were on point. Everything I asked for, the fries were finger burning and crunchy, just how I like them. The customer service was also good! I’ll be back!

Very nice service. I requested no bun(something that other burger joints bust my chops about) and got it! Plus, even with my hefty selection of toppings, the burger was neatly nestled in its foil wrapping. This burger was made with TLC! The fries were great, as they always are at Five Guys. Bonus: great music at a pleasing volume. Some people don’t like the place being a little poorly lit, but I like that it’s a little dim in this location. I work in the sun all morning and afternoon, so this is a lovely break from that. Plus, this location was SPOTLESS when I visited. Seriously clean. I love that!

I used to love five guys but the burgers just aren’t as tasty as they use to. And if you’re planning on ordering from this particular five guys don’t definitely my least favorite five guys location. And don’t even think about ordering online that is a big mess never seems to work.

Solid burger, pretty fast service. Location is clean… So clean that you’ll probably be pegged as a douche if you do the usual 5 Guys«eat free peanuts and sweep shells to ground» bit. Plenty of open space between tables. My favorite order: Little bacon cheeseburger w/mayo, mustard, fresh sliced jalapenos, grilled onions, and pickles. Just over $ 5. The Cajun fries are pretty good, but it’s a MASSIVE portion — enough to share w/2 other people. This location is in the busy Aspen Hill shopping plaza which is good because it’s convenient(re: in same plaza as Giant, liquor store, Panera, Post office, Game Stop, nail salon, phở restaurant). But it’s also a pain because it’s convenient(re: Every other damn person who lives within a 10 mile radius probably shops there).

Today I discovered the bacon dog. Yum! Totally worth the extra 20 cents. This is a pretty typical Five Guys. Nice and clean. Not too crowded when I went(11:30 am on a Monday). Sometimes a Five Guys just hits the spot and this was one of those days!

My friend brought me a burger and a hotdog with bacon and jalapenos. I must admit, the hotdog was really good, super salty. Be ready to have high blood pressure after that one… The burger is fresh but not as amazing as people describe. I’ve had some really good bugers, this doesn’t compare in taste, just that it’s grilled right.

I love Five Guys, probably even more than In-n-Out Burger(what?! how dare I, right?!). I usually order the little bacon cheeseburger(with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, and green peppers) and share an order of regular fries. Man do these burgers taste good! Also so juicy and tender and the bun, man makes you want to slap your mamma! So good! I love love love the fact that you could put as many toppings on your burger for free(and as you could see, I love my toppings!). The give you a heaping amount of fries, some crispy and some semi-soggy. I have to admit, I like the semi-soggy ones! I’ve tried their cajun fries before, not a fan. Stick to the regular fries! Everything is made to order, so depending on how many people are in front of you, it might take some time for you to get your food. The wait is pretty decent though. Munch on some peanuts to kill some time. This restaurant is pretty clean, and the staff is nice. Five Guys is the best burger joint I’ve been to in the DMV(so far it beats the Burger Joint and Good Stuff Eatery).

Apparently(if you believe their signs that quote from local mags saying things like, «Best burger in town since 1999,» etc.) these gentlemen have been slingin’ burgers for over 10 years and doing pretty well at it.. . but on this trip back to the DC area from the Colorado Rockies, this was the first time I’ve had the. .. experience. .. of eating a Five Guys burger. And believe me, if you’ve never eaten there, it absolutely is a burger experience you don’t wanna miss. The task is an enormous one, especially if you order the«regular» burger and pile on it a few of their more than a dozen freebee accompaniments, ranging from mushrooms, to hot peppers and fried onions. The burgers are huge, and that’s just the prelude to the fries. A «regular» order of them comes for $ 2.49 and absolutely seriously no kidding, the order would serve a hungry family of 4 and by the time you finished you probably would be able to take the burger home in a doggie bag. Now, to the burger. .. very good, especially for fast food, but not truly excellent. Certainly much much better than a Micky D’s and even a Whopper, but not up to the standards of a gourmet burger you’d get at an excellent sit-down burger restaurant. While the bun beats the other fast food guys, it doesn’t have the homemade quality of a great piece of bread. That aside, if you’re looking for serious amounts of good burger /fry food(and don’t forget the free peanuts and never-ending sodas) then you cannot go wrong with a visit to Five Guys. Will I go back every time I’m in town? No. Will I go back when I’ve gotta have a mega-fix of fast food fried stuff, red meat and sugary soda? No doubt about it.

Five Guys in the Aspen Hill Shopping Center has two very important things going for it: 1. It’s a Five Guys — good burgers, loads of free extras, and the largest«small» fries I’ve ever seen. Plus, root beer on tap… and peanuts. Oh I could go on, but you get the point. 2. It has to be the CLEANEST griddle/kitchen I have ever seen! The staff there is always very helpful, but I was more impressed with the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area(I usually get takeout). The splattering grease and oil from cooking burgers, dogs, grilled cheese, fries, etc. is no where to be found. All of the stainless steel is kept gleaming. Good eats? Check. Cheap eats? Check. If you’re craving a burger and in/around Aspen Hill… don’t bother with Wendy’s or McDonald’s…head to the Five Guys. Waiting 2 more minutes for a better burger is a no-brainer!

Forget that 30% of greenhouse emissions are caused by cow farts. Not only that, I keep forgetting that I’m trying to cut down on red meat! Very competent staff — They’ve never messed up my order. Everything is well-stocked: from condiments to toilet paper… Gloomy interior because there’s not a lot of natural light that gets in. Understandable, though, because it’s in a rather gloomy shopping center… Yes, this is an acrostic poem… Sucks that I can’t finish with a bang… :)
