Cozy place to hang out, eat great food at Mojo and listen to free or reasonable music. Bartender is awesome.

This place is as Asheville as you can get. In it’s small«basement”-like setting, it’s filled with the youngest and oldest hippies in town. My parents are old dead-heads so, I feel comfortable in this setting. They have events all of the time including Free Dead Friday with Phuncle Sam which is fun and laid back. It gets pretty crowded so, find a seat early! The food is SO good. My favorite thing to order there is the Kale Caesar Salad but I have had a few of their vegan/vegetarian options as well as their nachos, burger, and wings. I have never been let down by their food and their bar tenders are always happy to see my family!

Coming here with my girl friend we enjoyed our happy hour taking some delicious foods and drinks. The bartenders are here very helpful in time of our needs and the cheap beers are really crazy for us thundering very much both of us. Really very well furnished place for first dates so I highly recommended this place for others and also thanks to the owner of this service as well as the staffs.

Look, I just had a beer here after work one day, this place is pretty cool! Really nice beer selection, the prices aren’t too steep, and ambience is real chill. that is all I want after a hard days work :-)

What is not to like about The One Stop? Great food via the Mojo Kitchen, great beers on tap, and a variety of music! Tuesday’s are my typical night, hip hop vinyl downstairs warming up for the best night of music in town… the Tuesday Night Funk Jam! !!! Any time is a good time, Tuesday’s, however, are the new Saturday!

One Stop is a very interesting bar. It is a small, divey type bar which serves pretty good food, booze, wine and beer. Being raised by hippies it was natural that they wanted me to go with them to the Grateful Dead Tribute band that they have every Friday night. It was swamped! So crowed I’m glad we got there a little early to get a table along the side wall. The band was pretty good(hearing many tribute bands in my life) but it was the loyal and ever happy dead head customers who were there dancing that made the event enjoyable. I ordered the Tofu Lettuce wraps which were alright, but my mother got the fish tacos and they were really good! The staff were awesome! The bartenders and the people working in the food section were all very friendly. Clean bathrooms. Reasonable pricing. Overall, the bar is A-OK.

This is really Mojo kitchen, so it’s kind of confusing when you’re looking for it. You see the sign outside, but then the only entrance is for Mojo. The food was good, but I wouldn’t call it a deli at all. Selection isn’t large. Staff was friendly, but like most of Asheville, almost too laid back. The bar is in the back. I got a sandwich to go and sat at the bar for a PBR on tap til it was ready.

I love the Bluegrass brunch at One Stop on Sundays. I have now eaten here twice at this time and loved it! This past Sunday we went with a group of 9 at 12. We did have to wait a few minutes while some paid their bills but we had no problem getting tables to sit together. During the few minute wait time we had we made our Bloody Mary’s at the build your own bloody bar which features anything pickled your heart desires. I had the most incredible, perfectly spicy gin Bloody. The menu for brunch touches on all basic items but definitely on the southern side. I had biscuits and(vegetarian) gravy with roasted vegetables with a side of bacon. This was the biscuit du jour and it was $ 7 which I think is a good value because my biscuit was huge, the gravy was flavorful and the bacon was incredibly crispy. I have had the shrimp and grits which I did not find special but even so cheese grits with shrimp will always be okay with me. I also tried the chicken and waffle previously and it was incredible! I’ll be back up the mountain next month and will have to revisit One Stop for my bluegrass brunch fix.

$ 2 tacos and Grateful Dead on Fridays. Service is inconsistent, but I love the people who run it.

A humble façade is quite deceptive, for when it comes to the One Stop, the food is phenomenal. When I moved down south, I expected to find delicious homemade sausage gravy around every corner. I have been disappointed so far at every breakfast place I have hit up, except for the OneStop. Their Bluegrass Brunch is to die for, and it doesn’t hurt that they have a bloody mary bar at the ready. They also happen to have some of the best hot wings in town. Even with so many good food options in Asheville, I still find myself coming to the One Stop time and time again, rather than trying new places because I am never disappointed in their food. Try the dish that sounds good to you and I doubt you will regret it. Try the wings or biscuits and gravy and you are guaranteed to enjoy your meal.

Blue Grass Brunch on Sundays is AWESOME!!! The food is pretty good, but not quite amazing. The atmosphere more than makes up for it. This place is located underneath the Asheville music hall. So there’s music in here sometimes and music upstairs sometimes, take your pick. I have only been here for brunch so I can’t comment about the rest of the menu. Everything is a hair pricey compared to an IHOP or Denny’s $ 7−8+, so I normally just shell out the extra $ 2 – 3 and get the shrimp and grits. It hits the spot after a night of drinking. I’ve had the chicken biscuit before as well and I have no complaints with that either. MEGA Mimosa’s and build your own bloddy mary bar, seal the deal with this brunch. I could have been first to review if I would have done this a couple weeks ago. Its a favorite of locals but I don’t think it gets the attention that it deserves. I’ll be back many times over.

A friend and I were lazily strolling through Asheville, and I wanted a sammich. Seeing that this place had deli in the name, I figured it would do the trick. Oh my, did it ever. I stopped by this place at about 3PM on a Thursday, when the place was pretty much empty. I ordered the special of the day, a jerk-marinated burger topped with grilled onions and sauteed plantains. The burger was absolutely amazing – the jerk flavor was perfect. Countered by the sweetness of the onions and plantains, this approximately 6 oz burger is better than most I’ve ever had. Seriously. Most upper-echelon burger joints aren’t even approaching this quality. Because it was the special, the approximate $ 10 price tag included a side(on the menu for $ 2.50). I picked the potato salad, which was made with redskinned potatoes, definitely homemade. I’d make a trip to Asheville specifically, if I knew they had this burger on special again(apparently they only make it occasionally… Not sure why). I live 40 miles away. If you see the jerk burger with plantains on special, you must stop in to get one.
