Back at the good old restaurant. Fairly busy for Xmas eve. Ordered foods and asked for the check. Food came out pretty quick, taste just like the old times. Ordered green papaya salad and fried tofu aptzr along with CH drunken noodles and CH fried rice. Fried rice a lil salty and drunken noodle taste not too good(oily). Had better one before. Overall is good as usual, only downside today is one server with 5 tables.

Recently I went to Thai Ashburn after reading some good comments on Unilocal.Turned out the food was really good. Their red Thai curry was great. Now I found some good Thai food in my neighborhood. Don’t need to go far.

I love this place. My wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Ashburn. We are on a mission to try literally every item on the menu. We are about half way through and most of their food is outstanding. The items I didn’t like I chalk up to personal preference as opposed to any fault of the chef. I simply have to say this: their drunken noodles are phenomenal. I got them here because I was working my way through the menu — I DIDNOT like all my prior encounters with drunken noodles, so I was expecting to force my way through this order. That was NOT the case at all — in fact Thai Ashburn’s drunken noodles are the best I’ve ever had. I think their chef might be from a different planet — their food is that good! I’m not saying it was aliens… But it was aliens…

«And forgotten she remained. .. « That was the theme of my first visit here. I was neglected so hard I started questioning my own existence. It took me a minute to decide what I wanted but once I got it(Beef Kra Pow 3.5÷5 and egg roll 4.5÷5) I let my server know and he put in my order, I think. More people start coming into the restaurant. I went during lunch rush and the restaurant was about 45 percent filled. My server looked slightly overwhelmed as he was trying to take everyone’s order as well as tend to the people that were already eating. Mind you, there are two other ladies working the floor as well, occasionally helping with the tables. Then I start noticing. .. people who put their orders in well after I did had received their meals, and I still hadn’t gotten the egg roll I ordered yet. A light bulb goes off in my server’s head and he remembers me for a second and realizes that I still didn’t have a plate in front of me. He says something to one of the ladies, she starts typing something on the machine — then voila — my entrée and my spring roll have arrived(at the same time even though I wanted the spring roll first). I took a couple bites of my spring roll and moved on the my entrée only to realize it was noticeably cold with warm spots here and there. I also realized that everyone else had been brought an array of sauces that I didn’t get. In the end, I was left sitting with my empty plates and credit card bill waiting for the servers to process payment. I’m not sure if I’ll be back anytime soon.

We came here for dinner and the food was awesome. We ordered spicy eggplant curry with tofu, vegetarian green curry, shrimp red curry and fried rice. Everything was great. They even deliver in Ashburn. I would definitely recommend this place for all the Thai food lovers.

Delicious! It was a bit hard ordering over the phone because I didn’t feel like I was being understood. Other than that the food was pretty tasty!

Close to a 5, but not quite there. Ordered the dumpling sampler and my usual panang beef. I always get the dinner size, since I tend to eat a lot. In this case, I’m really glad I did since it was a little on the smaller portion for a dinner size. The dumplings were great! I didn’t really like the wasabi ones, but that’s just a personal thing for me. Next time I’ll sub them out for 2 of the other ones. The panang beef was pretty good. It had a lot of peanut flavor, which I really liked. It could have been a tad spicier, but overall it was pretty good. Definitely worth going back again! They have a 10% off online coupon if you google for it, but unfortunately I forgot to show it and get the discount. Next time!

Thai Ashburn is a great little Thai place with a very solid selection of vegetarian options, so those who follow that diet should check this place out! Thai Ashburn is a small little Thai joint in a quite nice strip mall. It’s very nicely decorated inside and quite quiet, which I liked. Service is quick and very friendly, and prices are ridiculously cheap. The vegetarian options here are good! Many entrees are served with«your choice of meat,» which can include vegetables and tofu in replacement of the meat. The green curry with vegetables and tofu was quite tasty — not particularly spicy, but it didn’t need to be. The fried rice was equally good, and it even had a bit of an interesting sweet flavor that I didn’t expect. The only complaint I have is in volume — there really wasn’t a lot of tofu in comparison to the vegetables. That was a bit of a shame, as the tofu was excellent. The vegetables were tasty as well, of course! All in all, I’d definitely go back.

Love the beef fried rice from this place. It has a really delicious, very distinct Thai flavor that just plays over your taste buds with every bite. You can get it in various levels of heat, but I go for the straight up mild. The portion you get is very generous for the price, and it’s more than enough to feed two people — Or one very hungry person. I would have enjoyed the BBQ pork had I not poured the sauce all over the sticky rice and meat prior to trying it. It was way too spicy for me, and ruined the whole dish. The meat had a good flavor, but there was just no salvaging it from the heat once that sauce hit it. I suppose if you like spicy food, then this would certainly be a plus for you. They do offer a wide variety of spicy dishes, and apparently they’re not kidding in the slightest when they label them as such. Honestly haven’t been to thrilled with the appetizers we’ve had from here. The majority of them are a dumpling of sorts — Most of which are fried. I’m more so a fan of steamed dumplings, which they do offer, but only in a seafood variety — But I’m not a seafood fan. We’ve never actually eaten at the restaurant, but instead opt for delivery which is neither slow nor fast. It’s your average wait time of forty minutes to an hour. The food doesn’t necessarily arrive piping hot, but it’s not cold either. Definitely my new place of choice for a fried rice craving.

Overpriced! Not great quality. This is a little old Thai restaurant in a shopping center that charges $ 12 for a cocktail that they do not know how to make. I ordered two Manhattans and they came like a Shirley Temple. A lot of Cherry Juice, Vermouth and Scotch that you could not taste through the cherry juice. I asked for some bourbon to mix in and they poured one shot for the two glasses. It was scotch, not bourbon. I got the bill for $ 36 for two drinks and one shot. This is higher than DC and they do not know what they are doing. We left all the drinks on the table and will not go back.

Only dined here once so far, but the food was very flavorful and a good value. I tried the Chicken Madness, which was delicious. Summer rolls with the peanut sauce were some of the best I’ve tried.

This used to be a gem, but I think it changed hands or something… The Pad Thai was way to sweet and lacked the true flavor of the standard pad thai. The panning curry was also blah… I used to eat here weekly but have now moved on.

At present, I think this is the best Thai food I’ve tried in the Dulles corridor. It is under somewhat recently changed ownership, new chef and style. Outstanding beef drunken noodles, no modifications, perfect heat and simply amazing taste. My new favorite in Nova. The panang chicken was also very good, but not quite as flavorful and not spicy enough for my taste. The papaya salad was the best I’ve ever had, bursting with flavor and quite hot!

We have been going here for almost a year now(2−3x a month). The food is always spot on. Either the Chef is always the same person or they are just that good. I usually order the Crying Tiger, which is a marinated, grilled flank steak. It is always cook to a med /med-rare, and the flavor is perfect every time. The Thai iced tea is awesome as well. I have tried a bunch of their other dishes as well, beef noodle soup, pad thai, rad na, duck curry, etc. Everything is great here. For dessert, I have had their fried bananas a few times and they’re really good as well. Staff members are always nice. We have taken friends here on several occasions and they all enjoyed it as well.

from: ladies that lunch** Didn’t realize at first but this was my second visit and happy again with the experience. Look — we are in the middle…((sorry commuters, you just really must acknowledge)) of no where —- ten years ago, the entire area was farm land. and still is, plus the smattering of horse country type residents. two of us for a weekday lunch… we ordered pomegranate martinis… yes, at lunch.(judge and ye will be judged!) but the waitress apologetic beyond necessary when she made us cosmos — bring it, never waste the alcohol! basil eggplant and some rice noodle(phat and fat) dish with chicken. this is a decent strip mall kind of establishment. either for immediate locals and the office worker bees that want to get away from route 7 options. what can i say — we did order a second round of pomegranate martinis… drinks were good, the dishes were spicy(perhaps a tad much on the rice noodle dish — but probably an err on our part, not noting the chils noted on the menu) but in a good way. a solid thai lunch. also they had lunch specials listed on the menu that are similar to combos offered at other thai restos closer off route 7… this is good when you are looking for efficient and general selection that is off the crowded and usual options. comfortable and welcoming… yep — will be back.
