I always go thru their drive thru and have had great experiences. One star off bec the set up of the drive thru is a little off… Sometimes your exit can be blocked off by someone coming in. Not easy to get in and out of. Also wanted to give them a little shout out because when I told them I was getting a drink for the bride they made it extra special. Thanks starbucks! Your employees are awesome :)

Hands down worst starbucks i have ever been to. I went in there one day and it was dead and nobody came to the counter to help me because they were too busy talking so I left. The next time I came in I waited around 15 minutes for my drink to be ready because the manager and the other workers were too busy making 30 fraps to exchange with rubinos pizzera next door for free pizza. I thought I would give them another chance but they have shown too many times how unprofessional and little the customer matters.

I have been to Starbucks hundreds of times. A pro tip, go inside. This location has a drive through, but it is always crazy busy. During peak hours, there might be ten cars ahead of you. If you walk in, usually it is in and pure entertainment during the busy times. They execute the mobile ordering system well. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. It has a nice environment inside, and has plenty of parking in front of the store and on the sides.

Slow slow slow !!! They alwayssssss mess up my order. Either too many pumps of a syrup when I ask for half the amount… Or the wrong syrup or even just the wrong drink!!! Its so disappointing to wait in this long line and get the wrong thing. I am a mom of a 2 month old and the drive thru is so amazing for me because its very difficult to take a young baby in and out of the car for a coffee. Just wish they would speed it up and be more accurate !!

Pretty good but is always busy and needs more staff in the worst way. I feel so bad for the staff trying to service the HUGE line in the store and the HUGE line for the drive-thru. I will say this… this Starbuck’s hardly ever runs out of thing so they must anticipate high traffic.

Would recommend avoiding this shop if in a hurry. Incompetent staff goofing around distracting each other while taking our order. They argued about who was going to make the pour overs in front of us. We requested three pour overs, because they only keep Pike’s Place on tap after a certain hour, and we wanted a blonde roast. Then, it took ages to get the drinks even though they had at least four to five people working. To add insult to injury, the coffee was lukewarm. Really disappointed.

Disclaimer– I’m also a former Starbucks employee(not at this one, I worked at the King Street location in Old Town Alexandria. So when it comes to customer service, I’m really particular. As for that. The staff at this location is nice. My drink orders are always made correctly and in a timely fashion. Haven’t had the chance to try the drive though yet. Then again going to Starbuck’s and using drive-through seems odd to me.

Drive thru is pretty quick, staff is friendly for the most part. Never had an inaccurate drink from here. Little confused why they put ice in my kids milk once(didn’t even ask if I wanted it like that), but other than that no complaints.

I am a regular Starbucks goer at other locations in Ashburn, I mean it’s Starbucks you think all of them would taste the same… right? however, The last two or three times I’ve been here, I order a caramel frappuccino and every single time it tasted NOTHING like caramel. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t wash the blenders correctly, if it’s bad milk, syrup, I don’t know. the other times before yesterday that I went, my frappuccino tasted like peanuts or maybe hazelnut but it wasn’t good. yesterday I came back hoping it would taste right.. WRONG. this time it tasted like a strawberry smoothie or something fruity had been in the blender before they gave me my drink. they need to either CLEAN the blenders or whatever they’re making my drink with thoroughly or learn how to make it the RIGHT way. it’s disgusting.

Obviously, this is a big business which almost has a monopoly on coffee. In fact, if monopolies were allowed in America, I’d be happy to just have Starbucks. My only complaint across the board is their black coffee(I hate sugar and milk) is much too acidic for my taste.

Disclaimer– Im a former Starbucks employee(not at this one, I worked in WA state) Because I am a former Starbucks barista I tend to be harder on the baristas because I know what they can and cant do. I also understand that there is SOMUCH that goes on behind the scenes that the average customer just doesnt understand. So with that said the line at the drive though always sucks, one car or five its slow. Ive accepted that and moved on. BUT the drive through order taker has yet to screw up my high maintenance somewhat convoluted drink. Mon-Fri I know they are going to get it right and that is awesome! Nick has my drink nailed! Thank you Nick! All the morning staff are great and although I like the drive through for convenience, I enjoy going in and chatting while they are making the drinks and buzzing around. The weekend crew are super sweet as well and know my dogs(they like to go to Starbucks too!). Overall, if you can get past the slow drive through, this is a great Starbucks with friendly staff who take the time to get your drink right and get to know you.

The morning crew here are great. Their attitude is good and considering the number of customizations their often entitled — feeling customers have, they do a fantastic job. The drive through may take a while, but if any of the other reviewers paused to take notice, the delay is usually because many drive through customers have larger orders and/or don’t have payment ready when they get to the window.

It’s got a drive thru. That earns 2 full stars by itself. Most of the times the drive thru is SOOOOO sluggish but that doesn’t bother me at all. It’s usually my first or last stop in a day of errands(depends on the kids nap schedule). Sitting in a drive thru line for 20 mins doesn’t phase me at all when the car is peaceful and quiet with everyone sleeping. I know this isn’t the reason drive thru’s exist but this«slow» drive thru is heaven for me!

Since I moved I’ve had to switch my Starbucks route to this location and I have not been impressed to say the least. Staff tends to pay all attention to the drive through customers instead of the ones that go in. I’ve been in line with only 2 people in front of me several times and it takes about 15 minutes to get a simple iced coffee. I’ve also been very disappointed In the quality of the iced coffee. It always tastes like it’s been sitting there all day and is poorly watered down. Staff is friendly but overall poor service and quality.

I get the basics at Starbucks(black coffee), so service for me is quick regardless. There were two people inside, and 4 or 5 cars in the drive thru. I walk up, smile and say good morning — and the guy at the front says nothing but«what can I get you?» Really? I order my drink and wait for a couple minutes. The barista looks at me and says, «we are out of blonde roast — would you like medium roast?» Um, there is NOONE in the store… and yet they are out of blonde roast(there are 5 ppl working behind the counter, mind you). I asked for the pour over(never a favorite thing for me — takes forever and coffee is never hot) — and she almost looks beat down when I asked for it, but immediately says«sure» and begins her ‘ever so tedious’ process of making my coffee. Overall — not a fan of this place. It is very clean but for what you pay for a coffee — leaves a lot to be desired. Will most likely not come back and make the effort to go to a different one.

I have been here quite a few times… primarily due to the fact that they have a drive through. I am usually impressed with the speed and quality of the service. On occasion, they have given me the wrong drink or not made my coffee hot enough, but they are always willing to fix the issue. I would love to give this place 5 stars, but with the number of «wrong drinks» or «cold drinks» I’ve received I can’t. While they are willing to fix the issue. they should strive for more accurate service!

The drinks here are fine but the service is lacking. I just went in, it was dead, four employees were standing around doing nothing and it took 10 minutes to get my drink. Then they had no straws out so I had to wait for that. Not cool.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. That’s sort of the point of a Starbucks. But this is an above average Starbucks, particularly early in the morning when the line is almost unfailingly to the door. It’s calm and efficient. They handle what should be chaos without blinking. The drivethru can take awhile — because a lot of people use it — but it’s not outrageous. The Mister and I were in here today. We were obnoxious and had requests with our drinks(less syrup). I make this request a lot and it gets ignored at least half the time I make it(at other locations). These guys got it right. Thanks for listening — I enjoyed my latte a lot more because of it.

This is your regular, run of the mill Starbucks in a strip center. The only reason I stop here every so often is because it’s one of only a couple drive-thru ones around here and when my daughter crashes out while I’m driving I can swing through for a drink. Unfortunately, it is also one of the slowest drive-thru Starbucks I’ve ever experienced, not as bad as the one in Front Royal, but close. Additionally, my most recent visit I got a protein box. Didn’t notice until I had already driven off, but the box had a grand total of TWO grapes in it. Am I being picky thinking that quality control should have caught that somewhere along the line?
