Wanted to like. Just a bad experience. Trying to do too much. Are you a lobster place, a burger place? Tried lobster hush puppies. Umm these are fritters not puppies.(Big diff) no lobster I could see. Zero flavor. Bygones. Veggies tots? Fried tempura style. Not so good. We all tried and 0⁄3. Nobody asked or offered an alternative. Wings. Don’t even go there. Commodity wings at best. But the burgers??? Not good. Walk across the street and try matchbox full sized burger for a much better burger. They do use good meat and offer pink or not pink, but no flavor. We tried the pretzel, bacon cheese, tavern. Similar to bgr locally, which is fail, fail fail. If u want a good burger try Melt in leesburg, burgerfi(yum) or burger 21 ashburn. Service? It’s early. They have a way to go. Opening crew is friendly but working 17 hour days(admittingly) Will try other items, but a major disappointment so far. Ps: for craft beers hit Alamo across the street. Over 40 on tap. They had no single ipa on tap. Added one star for pbr on tap :-)

Went here for dinner 1⁄31 and I don’t have any complaints! For 6 of us, including 2 children, we ordered a variety of foods. Considering everything was devoured, I’m going to go ahead and say our meal was a success. My brother and I selected 2 bottles of beer off their menu, and the server mentioned that he had to verify that they had it in house that day. It was great to have options that I normally don’t see around. Our server was very friendly and came to check on us frequently. The hostesses were equally friendly, as well. My grandfather had the fish and chips, which was just to his liking. There wasn’t too much breading on the fish, and the ‘chips’ were fat, thick fries. Perfect, because he isn’t a fan of shoestring — but I am, so I had a side of those with my meal. All in all, very tasty and we will be back.

Great burger. Was a bit skeptical when I couldn’t order n it medium rare but their version of a little pink was perfect. Friendly staff and good food. I will be back.

Let me start by saying my overall first impression of b One Loudoun was generally very good. From the moment I opened the door my nose was treated to the succulent aroma of sizzling, seared beef. The ladies at the door greeted me and my girlfriend very warmly and promptly seated us in the back corner of the restaurant — perfect for a little people watching while we waited for drinks and our food. The interior of the restaurant is warm and rustic and I was particularly fond of the lit wall of bourbon. Good start. The drinks are where I knock some stars off here. To preface this, I am by no means a bourbon snob. I enjoy my old fashioned’s and manhattans, and I’ll occasionally sip on something served neat. That being said, a plethora of drinking experiences have now spoiled me in terms of how I think a cocktail should be served, especially when we’re talking about something as simple as an Old Fashioned. I had hoped the«Older Fashioned» that I ordered would come with one large cube of ice. For those that have had a cocktail served this way, there’s really no going back to a glass full of smaller broken cubes that quickly melt and water down your drink. I acknowledge the fact that this may border on being a snob and all things told, it’s merely a matter of preference. However, I have come to associate this«craft ice» if you will with bars that really take their drinks seriously, and given their focus on bourbon, perhaps this might be a welcome addition to take things one step further. Instead, I received a drink that was probably briefly very good, but it ultimately became a watered down shell of what it could have been. My second issue with the drinks was with their presentation of the flight of beers we ordered. Our server came back several times to inform us that some of the beers we had ordered were no longer available, and thus we changed two of them(on two separate occasions) to something else. Not an issue, until they came out on a board with absolutely no designation of which beer was which. When we asked our server what order they were in(since a couple changes had been made), she merely guessed. There were five beers in all, and I was told the second beer was an IPA I had ordered when it was very obviously a stout… and flipping the board around didn’t help given the porter in the fourth slot. My suggestion? Perhaps numbers on the board underneath the glasses, and then a copy of what your server wrote down in corresponding order. That or a chalk board? Really anything other than a complete mystery if you didn’t actually watch the bartender pour the beers. As for the food, we were both very happy with what we ordered. Pickle chips are brought out while you wait for your food, and they are quite tasty. For my dinner, I had the bacon cheeseburger(American cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, garlic mayo) on a pretzel roll, with a side of sautéed kale and company. The kale was absolutely phenomenal with its bits of bacon, and the burger itself was fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the burger salad and enjoyed it as well, and commented on how she was excited to try another burger«in the grass»(bun-less, atop iceberg lettuce) next time. In lieu of regular potato fries, we tried the green fries which were salted, sautéed green beens. They too were delicious. Assuming they can tighten things up with the drinks and continue to put out quality food, this is easily a 4-star rating for me. Considering they had only been open for a week(sans 2 days due to the blizzard), I was pleasantly surprised with the service and the overall vibe of this restaurant. There are plenty of things beyond burgers to try here, and I’m hopeful that with a few tweaks they’ll be able to grow into a hot spot here in One Loudoun for both food and drinks.

Solid four stars for B One Loudoun. I checked this place out the other night right after the snowstorm, they have only been open for a little while, but they seemed to have a great training staff in the place so everything ran smoothly. Sometimes when a new place opens it is a mess for months, not here. The inside of the restaurant is nice, it has a rustic, comfortable vibe to it. Although they have plenty of bourbon I was happy to see they also had plenty of local beer on hand as well. I tried a few of the mixed drinks and they were both good(could have been a tad stronger). As far as the food, I started with the baked jalapeño poppers, which were fresh and had a lot of flavor. It was really the only thing on the appetizer menu that was not fried(not that the bacon was healthy). Given the area I think they should add something else to the appetizer menu that is a little healthier. People around here prefer to drink the calories, not eat them. I felt like I had to try a burger, since they have tons, so for an entrée I got the burger flight, which was a variety of three sliders. All of the sliders were good, but the cuban one was the best, it was a mix of pork and beef. They did have plenty of healthier looking options for an entrée here, so don’t think it is all just burgers. If the staff can keep up the good service and perhaps they tweak the menu a little bit I think they will do great in One Loudoun.

Good impression so far. The sliders are delicious and I swear they sprinkle magic fairy yummy dust on the buns b/c I was licking my fingers afterward!!! The décor is warm and cozy. Yeah us for having another hot bar and restaurant. All hail One Loudon!
