Appalling and disgusting, not only did I see a roach in one of the window displays of this restaurant, the owner and staff were extremely rude and dismissive. I would highly recommend any of the several better establishments in the area. You can do way better than this sorry excuse for an eatery.

This is a very good pizza place. We had the four cheese and it was excellent. We plan on returning but will get the standard pizza with light cheese because at 59 years old it was too much food for me. The service was friendly and prompt. A added plus is the decorated with some interesting art.

We came to this area to enjoy the food at Good Karma in Red Bank and could not help but notice the reviews for the vegan pizza here. So we had to grab two pies for the way home, and we stopped and gobbled some of them in the car, couldn’t help it. LARGE vegan Italian section that easily proves how simple it would be for many classical Italian places to offer vegan food. The staff is very nice too and says the vegan stuff is greatly in demand. Maybe it is because this area is closer to NYC. Normally you cannot easily find vegan beach food. Spouse had the chicken BBQ pizza, and I had artichoke sundried tomato. Crust is on the thicker side, so a few pieces filled us quickly. Can’t wait to get back to this area to try some of their subs and pastas. I hope there is such success with their vegan side that they go all plant-based. Asbury Park is really getting some cool new spots. Cookman and Lake Avenues are really hopping, and I hope this kind of revitalization keeps on spreading. Asbury’s beaches are just gorgeous, and the town’s location is close to so many other cool things.

Great find! Awesome selection of pizza toppings, sauces, cheeses, doughs. Something for everyone. Super fresh ingredients! You could tell that the bread for the sandwich was even homemade! I will surely return!

We were having trouble choosing a restaurant until I saw they have the grilled eggplant stack with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette. That made the decision for me. We tried it and it was even better than it looked! Then we ordered our meals. An Italian Combo sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs, and baked penne alla vodka. AMAZING. And the portion sizes are massive. Be warned of that if you can’t eat a lot, this place is definitely a place to share an entrée! We didn’t try the pizza but I have no doubt it must be amazing too. And their fresh baked bread is incredible. If I find myself in Asbury Park again I’ll be back. If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t miss it.

I had a vegan custom pizza with meatball, cheese, sausage olives, and jalapeño on gluten free dough. So good and crispy. Also they don’t use that Diaya garbage. I totally recommend it.

Amazing staff! Amazing food! Awesome vegan options! I had the staff pick for me because I couldn’t decide between the vegan cheesesteak or the pesto pizza– secretly wanting the pizza a little more. Lol I think she picked up on that, and MANOHMANAMAZING! I switched up the pesto pizza– took off the sun dried tomatoes and added mushrooms and«sausage” — so many good things here! If you’re looking for a quick bite or want a nice little casual date, this is the place to go!

Let me just start by saying I almost threw my hands in the air and walked out when I saw a sandwich was $ 15. THAT said… order a half sandwich, because the whole is on an entire loaf of bread… like a foot and a half long. Insane. I couldn’t even finish a half. It was pretty good. Not amazing. I got the vegan marsala hero. It needed some kind of sauce as it was way too dry, even with the vegan cheese on it. The staff was super nice though. I would go back. Maybe try a pizza next time.

I really hope that I just happened to come on a bad day because I left Crust & Crumble feeling sad today. Usually, when I go to C&C, I order the harvest salad without cheese and with vegan chicken added. I love the salad because it’s always HUGE(see previous review) and a good value for $ 15. Today, I ordered that same salad, and it was very small. I’ll post a photo for all to see. At most, the salad should have cost $ 8. I left feeling very hungry, disappointed, and $ 15 poorer. Meanwhile, the young woman sitting at a table a few feet away was served a GINORMOUS sandwich. She asked, «This is the half size?» Yes, it was the half size. I guess I should have ordered the sandwich.
