Vineland Liquors

Disgustingly rude!!! I never met Ben, but a guy who calls himself Nick has no business dealing with people. Never again!

More craft beers than I’ve seen at a neighborhood liquor store…
There are between… 7 and 10 liquor stores within 5 miles of my house. At least two of them offer around 5 – 7 choices in IPA’s. Vineland has at least double that AND their prices are pretty cheap AND the staff is cool AND well, that was the last AND so far. I’ll let you know if there are anymore AND’s after this 6-​pack is done… Lagunista’s IPA is on Alehead’s Top 10 list but sadly not mine. Good but not top 10.

I always shop Vineland. Their prices are good, but I shop mainly because of Ben. He is a delightful young man; polite, helpful and knowledgeable. His Mother and Father less so, but the prices are the same.

I’ve been going to this place for a while now and quite like their selection and prices. I’ve shopped around the area and can say with a lot of certainty that the prices in this store are the best around.
I’m docking 1 point here because they don’t have the best and latest in scotch, and aren’t too friendly. If you’re looking to get in and out really quick with your poison, this is the place to go

These Greeks really know to run a store! GREAT beer selection. GREAT prices. The only reason I’m knocking off a star… Liquor reps! They are all over with their laptops and annoying order forms. I hate them! Well– except for the one female rep I’ve met.

Some way, somehow, I recently decided that dammit, I wanted to start having wine with dinner. Regularly. So, I dropped by Vineland and threw myself at the mercy of Ben, the guy who is usually behind the counter. For the past few weeks, he’s regularly offered up wine suggestions without making me feel stupid. Furthermore, all of his suggestions have been pretty decent. And! He’s a nice guy. Always a plus.
The store is huge and appears to have a massive variety of just about everything. It’s well lit and clean. Furthermore, the prices I can only assume are competitive.
If it wasn’t for the one time I went in the store and was checked out by a counter person who wasn’t Ben (the sad), I’d give it five. Thing is, I find it unspeakably rude when people go through any checkout lane while on their cell phones. I cannot put into words how aggravating it was to have the women at the cash register chatting up a storm on HER phone while I was paying for my wine. No thank you. Sure it only happened once, but damn. Come on now.
Other than that, yay booze!
