We stopped going here a few years ago because the place is so inconsistent. I really liked the carnitas, but the last time or two I went specifically for them, I found them really disappointing. The service is just as uneven.

We had high hopes. High. Oh so high. We went here for Father’s Day, and while the girl bussing the tables was incredibly great, our server was the suck. He made the Slowsky’s from the Comcast commercials look zippy. Our food took over fifteen minutes to make it from kitchen to table. Tamales and Tacos? Yeah, not a fifteen minute endeavor. He was not good at checking on us, either — a table of 10 or so showed up and that was it. All of his other tables went completely unnoticed from that point forward. Not cool, buddy. The tamales were dry and my tacos, while decent, were pretty bland. The salsa was all right, too, but again, nothing that made me all squealy. We’d heard good things about this place, and like the other reviewer indicated, it does get busy, so we assumed we’d be more satisfied than we were. Unfortunately, at least for me and my husband, I don’t think we’re going to visit again any time soon.

This is a great Mexican Restaurant in Arvada at 90th and Wadsorth(the address is 88th, but the center is big and it is easier to turn in off of 90th). My favorite, the Mexican Hamburger. I may not have a «cultivated» mouth, but I sure do enjoy their food and it is a family run business and they will take good care of you. I could use a little updating in the décor, but that is a minor thing to me. It can get crowded sometimes, but rarely have I had to wait for a seat. For after the meal they have YUMMY mini sopapillas.
