Being severely restricted in what I can eat, I walked into here pretty nervous. They were slammed that night but the staff was still really great. Our waitress was really great and quick. I asked her 8 million questions about what was in their food and what everything was seasoned in, basically I have to be «That Guest» or I get real sick. She was so gracious and thorough throughout the interrogation and I was so thankful! So great job on staff, HuHot! So that’s great and all. But then I got to the actual grill. They so many options for everything! Yes, the meat is frozen but it’s sliced super thin and cooks well. I loved the veggie selection so much! Their sauces were all off limits to me, so I mostly used salt and pepper. They do this thing called The Mongolian Treatment and basically clean off(really REALLY well) and block off a section of the grill so that people who allergies can still eat. Which was fantastic. And the grill chefs were really great about all of that. I will definitely come back!

So the first time I ate here the food was great! Fresh seafood and veggies which was a Sunday afternoon. This time I went here was a weds. Night. We went before the dinner rush and when we walked in, all the staff was sitting in the back on their phones and took a while to be seated. Then we go to get the food and I was pretty disgusted. All the bins were really low and some empty. The was food splattered and sauce splattered all over the place. So already being pretty grossed out, my boyfriend and I both had some of the crab and we both got sick as dogs late last night and this morning. So needless to say we will never eat here again. What a shame! I will not recommend this place to anyone again!

Had my first HuHot experience in Fort Collins. Can’t say this location lives up to the experience I remember having originally. Chefs at the grill aren’t terrible friendly or entertaining, food bar doesn’t seem as fresh, waitstaff for the tables is awful. Love the concept of HuHot, but this particular location just doesn’t do it justice unfortunately.

Huhot was pretty amazing! I went with my family on a com day. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pretty good, but it was a bit tiny. I got the buffet) no appetizers) and the ingredients were lovely! The Asian meatballs were the best ingredients in the buffet! My food was cooked well, but they burnt the noodles a little — but no big deal. I had the chocolate cake for dessert. It was cold, but very rich! The service was okay, but the waitress was a bit forgetful(forgot our silverware and rice. Was a bit slow on the check). 4 stars for the noodles cake and waitress, but other than that it was a great experience! I recommend it to anybody who loves Chinese noodles but had to pick out all of the horrible ingredients!

This was our first experience here. We’ve had Mongolian BBQ before but was always accompanied by a oriental buffet or vice versa. This place made the Mongolian grill the main attraction. We added potstikers, for an appetizer with our meal. The process of our meal preparation was quick and orderly. Our meal with the app. Came to just over $ 40.00. Meal does include a salad or soup, you can also do a takeout which comes with 2 plates. If you’re I. The mood for something different hi e this place a try.

The service was TERRIBLE, server brought the wrong salad, the wrong salad dressing, the wrong beer and the wrong rice. Literally everything we ordered from her, she got wrong. My boyfriend got food poisoning and spent most of his day in the bathroom and they wouldn’t give a refund because it’s company policy to not give any refunds unless 4 or more people call. Terrible customer service, terrible experience, NEVER going back.

The only thing good about this place is the fact they serve Diet Coke. I’ve never written a Unilocal review but this place is bad enough that I want to warn other people not to go there. Bottom line, this place is gross.

More chain blandness. Like the concept of Mongolian-style restaurants, but there are better ones out there. The ingredient tables were a sloppy mess, the frozen chicken tray was empty save for chicken dust, and the sauces all tasted the same. Plus the«chefs» had annoying tip jars on prominent display. Really? It’s not like diners have a choice – the food is either raw or cooked. Why should I tip because you’re simply cooking the food on the menu? I know, I know – it’s a «show,»(i.e. you’re making a bunch of noise waiving around your spatulas). Sorry, but no tip for you.

Overall tasteless food, poor service… and dirty silverware. We walked into this place really excited because my wife and I LOVE with a capital«L» Mongolian grills! We walked in and the place was rather empty, and not just of customers, but of staff too. As far as I could tell when we first arrived there was one waitress, and one cook. There was 6 of us in total but we beat the other two to the restaurant. She asked if we’ve been to their restaurant before to which we said, «No» then she said we’ll wait for the other two then I’ll explain our ordering system, and took off. She didn’t ask if we wanted to wait, she just assumed which was annoying because our 2 year old and 5 year old were screaming hungry. So I pick up the menu and read that the ordering instructions, «pick up bowl, fill it up, 6 things of sauces, etc, etc.» Since I needed to get food into the screaming kids asap I go up to the line and start filling up the two bowls. I’m literally 70% through the line and the waitress cops an attitude that I didn’t wait for her to give me the instruction, and decides to stop me in the line to give me the instructions… HELLO this isn’t rocket science, and I have two bowls practically finished I think I can handle this… because my priority is getting my two kids situated… not your ordering instructions. We get back to the table and I see that my Dr. Pepper has arrived… with dried food stuck to the side. I order an egg drop soup and my spoon has dried food bits stuck to it. The food was bland, like eating dressed up ramen… that tasted just as bland as King Soopers ramen… AND to top it all off I paid just under $ 80 for all of it… Way over priced, way under appetizing, way under served… NEVERCOMINGBACK. The funny thing is that as my wife and I were eating the food all we could talk about was how TASTY the Mongolian Grill is at Genghis Grill down near Park Meadows Mall… and so the next day we went there for lunch!!! LOL.

Our 6-year old had been begging us to take her back to HuHot after she and my husband ended up there for lunch one day. I was pleasantly surprised… our waiter went seriously above and beyond to make sure we were happy, including asking the grill guys to make a huge fire just for their entertainment… I am sorry to say that I forgot his name, but he has a beard and glasses. The food is delicious and unique… and it’s easy to keep it super healthy with all of the protein and veggie options. Then, to top it off, the tabletop s’mores dessert was a really fun and memorable way to end our meal.

Pleasantly surprised. I thought this was more like Phở but I think you shouldn’t compare them at all. HuHot is a grill type of restaurant where you pick what goes into your«bowl». You can add any type of meat veggies fruit and sauce to your liking. If you have no idea what to do they have recipe card you can follow. The sauce range from not hot at all too very hot. Wish we would have tried this place sooner. I really like being creative with what I want to eat. You also get to watch your creation being cooked

My 8 year old son recommended HuHot numerous times before I gave in. I am a pretty finicky eater, so I just assumed this place was going to be average. To my surprise, I had a fantastic time and amazing tasting food. 1. It was crowded that Saturday night. I was greeted by the manager who introduced herself as Susan. She saw I had about 4 kids and 2 adults with me, so she was very accommodating to our needs. Points for customer service! 2. Nicole was our server. She was very detailed about explaining how things worked at HuHot. Mongolian grills can be a little complicated at certain places, but this was a very easy system and explained very well. Points for being organized! 3. Everything was fresh and the bins were full. Most importantly, everything was very clean in the surrounding areas around the buffet. Points for keeping the line well stocked and clean! 4. I’m no amateur when it comes to Mongolian grills, so I know what to get. What really separates HuHot from other places are the sauces. They are absolutely fantastic. I had four different plates using different mixtures and they were all crazy good! That’s unheard of at other places. Points for flavor! 5. Once I was done shoving 4 plates in my belly I was ready for dessert. They have a s’more plate with flame built in!!! Bonus points for a open flame fun closer! 5 stars for sure. I’ve visited 10 times since that first experience with other friends and family and they all share my same enthusiasm. I pretty much always see Susan there behind the host station or running around. Last time I was there she was behind the grill. Oddly enough, I’ve somehow ended up in Nicole’s section almost every time. I haven’t had a bad experience yet. Kudos to the team there! They have done a fantastic job with that location. I wanted to give them the props they deserve. I think a review is the best way to say thanks!

Honestly it was just ok. The service was great, thank you very much AmberLeigh, which I appreciate, but the food was soso and the décor was just kind of weird. The selection of items was a bit sporadic, the meat was still frozen in the buffet, the sauces weren’t anything to write home about. There is a Mongolian spot downtown that I prefer

My wife and I ate at Hu Hot for the first time tonight and we loved it! A plethora of items and sauces to choose from. We had a really nice and attentive waitress too. I think her name is Chelsea. We will definitely be going back!

The only reason I am giving this restaurant 2 stars is because the manager, Susan, was very accommodating and was willing to help us out on a busy dinner service. My friends and I are big fans of HuHot and we have been to other locations across Colorado, so we thought it would try the one in Arvada. My friends and I came here for a birthday dinner and we had called ahead for a reservation and they confirmed it for a large party. When we arrived on the day of the party, the hostess told us that they didn’t have our reservation and that would take an hour to be seated. We spoke to the manager and she was very helpful and she gave us a table within 15 mins. As a mentioned before this was probably the highlight of the meal. The food buffet line were messy and sticky as if probably wasn’t cleaned regularly, there was limited amount of items, most of the meats were frozen solid so even when cook it was still cold, and there was a 30 min line just to cook our food. I did appreciate the manager’s dedicated work as she was running around as a cook as well as a server. Our server was one of the worst servers I have ever experienced, he sat us down and asked(rushed us) for our drink orders and left. Not once did he mentioned that our meals came with a soup or salad. The only reason we knew was because we went to other HuHot and we knew it came with it. When we asked about it, he mentioned«ooh did you want that?» took 6 people’s salad order and didn’t ask the rest of our table. We constantly had to ask him for drinks refills and we even had to ask other servers and host staff to send our server to our table. Each time it would take him 15 mins to come to our table. Overall, I wasn’t happy with the this location, I don’t see myself coming back to the Arvada.

Hell is going to a restaurant where they force you to wait in a long line for someone to cook your food. All while elbow to elbow with this conversation: «Omg, you got teriyaki on my boob!» «There are like, so many older people here, omg, why did we come here? It’s like hanging out with my mom!» «Omg guys this guy totally sent me a picture of… himself!!» *giggle* «Omg! Let me see! Send it to my phone!» «Oh I am not doing that, it’ll save on my cloud or something.» And so on. I waited in line so long I started to give up until a friend ahead of me took my bowl so it can get cooked with hers. Total wait time: 25mins after leaving the line early. Later when I went for a second bowl the line was gone but the mess was still there… I ended up resting my elbow on a pile of sauce the same color as the counters… Our server was also not great. He was nice enough but was clearly rushed, didn’t ask if we’d ever been to Huhot before to explain how it works(a few of us have not), didn’t mention our meals came with soup or salad until we asked(then proceeded to NOT ask the rest of the table) and then disappeared for most of the night. At one point I asked these two ladies bussing tables next to us if they could find our server so we could ask for our bill. One dark-haired girl gave me attitude and said she would do it but then proceeded to bus three other tables. I finally had to go ask a hostess. I mean, I understand you want to get out of here but it would take you a minute to find this guy behind the kitchen door. You know, the door I CAN’T GOINTO. Later that night, I asked the server for the box our cake came in and he said he threw it away. He then offered us a used dessert box with chocolate smeared in it. Ew. The manager is the only reason this place gets stars at all. She got us seated after our reservation for 16 people was lost. She also hopped on the cooking area during the rush which was awesome. But the rest of these guys need Jesus. And because I know you really want to know, yes, that girl was talking about a penis picture. Mom out.

This place is fun. We often come here when we can’t decide what we want to dinner… that way we can just pretty much make our own chicken, steak, etc… Its not 5 star dining and the meats are little frozen pieces. Its simple, you can make up your mind what you want, what you want in it, and what kind of sauces you want to have. Its unlimited trips, so that was nice, even though i have never gone up twice lol. We did finally try the smore’s … interesting and fun concept.

The interior is surprisingly nice looking, I almost thought it was P.F. Chang’s! And that’s not the only great job done by HuHot, IMO, the others include the variety of sauces and the clear labeling of them; the variety of fountain drinks, and the up to $ 10 unlimited grill meal for lunch. The noodles(three kinds: Chinese, Egg, and Rice) and the serving plates are nice too, but then it’s pretty much downhill from that point. First of all, the meats are sliced pretty thin but frozen so hard that even cooking them on the grill doesn’t help softening the texture. The sauces pretty much slide right off the pieces of meat instead of being cooked into it. There’s no real good ingredients(during Saturday lunch). How ironic to see a recipe card for Pad Thai but you can’t even find shrimp and eggs which are signature ingredients of the dish! At least make it available for the peeps who’s willing to pay extra money for! We only got to scallops once because soon after that, they were out and instead, mussels were brought out. Not having them shelled means you risk undercooking the seafood. Heck, even the tiny bay scallops on my plate ended up not cooked through. I’m glad that I didn’t get food poisoning from it! And some of the veggies are not washed thoroughly clean. We made 3, 4 trips to play with different combinations of plates. The foods all ended up tasting OK. If you simply ask for your food to be cooked longer, they’ll do it, so don’t be shy! I’ve also seen special diet needs being accommodated so that shows HuHot cares. Rice comes with the meals but you’ll have to ask for it, another head scratcher — why can’t they let folks self-serve rice? Or drinks? They give you a card of all the fountain drink flavors, point at one and they’ll bring it out to you. Why hide the fancy machine? Kyle is a young lad that’ll answer any of your questions in detail, pretty wholesome staff! But my favorite Mongolian BBQ of the similar style remains to be BD’s. It’s a little more expensive but at least you get better ingredients!
