Really friendly owners. Don’t let the location deter you. They’re mainly delivery anyway. Big portions. Decent quality. That’s all I need from a greasy Chinese joint.

Wow really thrown off by the 4 star average. Ordered pad Thai and steamed pork dumplings for delivery. Took one bite of the dumplings and was not too pleased(the pork was tough and not very tasty). Next, I open my pad Thai and to my dismay there is basically no sauce on it at all. It looks like plain rice noodles with plain chicken and shriveled tofu from the steam. Furthermore, I asked for no bean sprouts and it’s pretty clear to me that they put them on and realized I asked for no bean sprouts and tried to pick them out because there was still a few bean sprouts in there. Probably won’t order from there again.

These guys will most definitely be our new go-to«greasy spoon» Asian take-out. The actual store front doesn’t look all that promising, but their ordering was easy, the delivery was quick(even in a snowstorm) and the food was tasty.

I’ve searched high and low for good delivery Chinese in the Highlands and this is the first one I’ve had that I truly liked. I ordered the Kung Pow chicken, spicy with no sugar added. Super good. Their chicken chow mien is delicious too but it didn’t have enough sauce or actual chicken. In addition, I had ordered and paid for the larger size chow mien but was still given the lunch plate size so I’d suggest calling the order in rather than doing it thru Unilocal.Delivery took almost an hour.

All you people have no idea what Chinese food is! I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and it was disgusting. The shrimp looked and tasted so weird it was like to shrimp were combined from end to end and when I broke or cut open the shrimp didn’t even look like shrimp it was this really weird looking. The only good thing out of this Restaurant for the first time is that the delivery is fast that’s about all they have going for him, I will definitely not ever order from this restaurant again.

Finding decent Chinese food when you live near downtown can be difficult. I was absolutely surprised to discover that their address is Wheat Ridge as I live in LoHi and that they deliver to my area. Super inexpensive and decent quality. I have had better but for the price and with also free delivery, I think its the best deal in town! The delivery drivers have ALWAYS been very timely and friendly. What sparked me to write this review was the deliverer tonight had to endure the pouring rain to get to my building but she was still as cheerful as ever. No negativity and happy to bring me my dinner even though she was soaked. Great customer service!!!

The food was fine. Ordering via Unilocal was super convenient. My only complaint is that I chose the«very spicy» option and left a very specific note on just how spicy I wanted it, yet my General Tsao’s was not that spicy.

They forgot the rice. I called and he said just tell him next time i order and he will give me a free meal. But we really just wanted the rice~ how can you eat chinese and thai food without the rice. my Phở was awesome. I got the rare steak Phở.

Four stars for price and three stars for flavor. I do enjoy getting delivery from here and I will be going back to them. The lunch special feels like 5 lbs. and you can get two meals out of it easily. It’s not the best mind blowing food I’ve ever had, but it’s perfect and convenient.

The delivery was pretty quick and the food was decent. I really enjoyed the fried pork dumplings. It’s been hard to find a decent place for Chinese delivery in my area and I think this could become my spot.

It’s not exactly a high-class joint, but for what it is, it’s five stars. Tucked into a literal hole in the wall next to a gas station/convenience store, you might be tempted to whizz right past Ly’s Café on your way to a place with more curb appeal. I know I did… many, many times. But, if you’re looking for take-out(or even dine-in, but let it be known that there are only four tiny tables and zero ambiance), you can’t do much better. Many thanks Adrian G. for recommending the fried calamari! I probably wouldn’t have ordered it otherwise(at $ 6.95, it’s a little pricier than your average app), but I’m SO glad I did. It was amazing. Even after the steamy trip home in its styrofoam container, it remained light, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. It didn’t come with any sort of dipping sauce, and it didn’t need it. Honestly, it ranked among the best fried calamari I’ve ever had. I ordered the Pan Fried Noodles with shrimp. The noodles were definitely different than what I usually expect with a Pan Fried dish. Normally they’re super-thin, soft in the middle, and fried into a big, crisp-edged cake. These were all fried hard into a large, block. Think uncooked Ramen noodles, but, fried… and thicker. They got soft when you added the shrimp(so many, so large, so perfectly cooked) and veggies(so-so, mostly celery and bamboo) and sauce(on point). It was really good, but definitely not your normal Pan Fried Noodles. The steamed dumplings are obviously home-made and were amazing. They didn’t stand a chance! The rest of the family ordered cashew chicken and sesame chicken. I didn’t try either one, because I don’t really love either dish. I can tell you that the portions are HUGE and they both seemed to enjoy them! We will definitely be getting our local take-out from here from now on. Best in the East Wheat Ridge area for sure!

I came to Ly’s on Saturday morning, I was the only customer there. I ordered orange chicken with fried rice and got a wonton with egg roll as well. It cost me $ 10. Good was freshly cooked and delicious, service was good. I think for a Chinese place food is a little overpriced — I get the same plate down the street for $ 5. I would recommend the food.

Good, solid cheap Asian fusion. My go to local spot for Chinese food. They do everything very well and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are also quite friendly.

This was a surprisingly great deal! If you’re looking for cheap but decent Asian food – check them out! I got the lunch orange chicken and it was a good sized portion, along with roll & drink! I probably would t order the phở or other unique Asian dishes(just my personal belief, nothing specific against this place…).

I should have realized by looking at the menu that this place was not going to have good thai food, but I was hungry and it sounded appealing so I let my stomach get the best of my common sense. The green curry was salty and the pineapples were. something that I cannot describe… old maybe? The drunken noodles were just lo mein made with egg noodles. Just tends to add to my theory that places trying to do everything(chinese, thai, and phở?!) end up doing nothing well.

What can I say, I’m soo glad I found a place that serves delicious Cheese Wontons. It’s very hard to find a place that service cheese wontons that isn’t just plain cream cheese! Yuck! The wontons are super crispy and the filling is super flavorful! This will definitely be my go to place from now on for cheese wontons. If I wasn’t at work, I would be there right now. Highly recommend this place!!!
