WORSTLOCATIONEVER! I have given this location multiple chances, mainly because a friend insist we go. Every time we have been highly disappointed. Everything from, soft runny ice cream, soggy & stale food, the lack of toppings like loaded tots with about 5 tots covered with chili & cheese & nothing else. When paying for cheese, we don’t get it. The one time with the ice cream incident, we waited for 15 minutes for the our refund because the cashier wanted to clear the drive thru before assisting us, mind you the whole time the Manager was sitting in the dining room playing a game on her phone. I was trying to reach out to district or corporate before writing this review but apparently they don’t care cause nobody has responded. I WILLNOTBEBACK& I SUGGESTYOUDONTEITHER

Barely ever get the Wienerschnitzel but when they reintroduced the corn dog nuggets I seem to be going a lot more often. My son seems to really love them now that he has been introduced to them and I see them kinda as a moderate to poor variant to the McDonalds nuggets when in a bind. I have always liked the chili and corn dog deals where you can get like 2 chili dogs and a corn dog for just a few bucks. What I really like about the«dog drive-thru» is just that, how convenient it is to roll through and never have to leave your car. I’m sure you parents understand how cool it is. The customer service is very good here and absolutely worth mentioning. Always with a smile and happy to get you through as quick as possible. Overall the food is exactly what you are probably looking for and for the price is always a good deal.

Don’t be a Chili Cheese Loser, be a Chili Cheese Wiener! Greasy? Check! Fatty? Check! Unhealthy? Check! Cheap & easy? Big ol’ Check! Let’s keep things real, folks. Sometimes, you just forego any ambitions of eating a healthy, organic, grass fed, pasture-raised, non-GMO diet & give in to the junk food. While I’m proud to say I don’t regularly frequent places like Wienerschnitzel, I do indulge from time to time. What dastardly adversary lures me perilously into Wienerschnitzel’s sausagey web? Coupons! Those dang coupons, man. Whether it’s the coupon for the chili cheese fries or the wickedly good Polish sandwich, that’s what brings this cheap bastard coming back. Wienerschnitzel’s chili is addictive to me. I don’t know if it’s the preservatives, the flavorings(natural and/or artificial) etc, but it’s all good. Recently, Wienerschnitzel expanded their chili cheese fries lineup to include Triple Cheese Double Bacon, Buffalo Bacon, Bacon Ranch & Ultimate. I’m happy sticking with the regular, but it’s nice to know the bacon food group is well represented with the other options. I won’t be wearing skinny jeans or donning a Speedo at the beach any time soon, and one of the reasons why being the chili cheese fries here. The Polish sandwich is another favorite of mine. A split, spicy Polish sausage between two slices of rye bread, topped with Swiss cheese, a pickle spear & French’s yellow mustard. Being a mustard fan, a pickle whore & a bratwurst/kielbasa/knockwurst/sausage slut, it’s the best case scenario. Win win! Service has been good everytime I’ve been. I always check my orders to make sure there are no discrepancies, so I haven’t had a problem with order accuracy. Table & booth seating inside, as well as a couple tables for al fresco dining. Parking is in a private lot, with a convenient drive-thru. ‘Der fun since ’61! Wienerschnitzel, unlike me, provides you with all your sausage needs :(Convenient location, über addictive chili & moneysaving coupons will have me coming back again & again. Just not too regularly, though. I’ve lost a lot of weight & don’t want to balloon up again. Me no want fat boy again. Recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

They always get our orders wrong here. It isn’t hard to remember to bag the chili cheese fries. Going home with just a corndog can be quite depressing. Do not recommend.

Sorry folks for the confusion. Wienerschnitzel does not actually sell the Wiener Schnitzel — a traditional Austrian dish made of breaded and deep fried meat, usually made from veal. But, I’m sure most of you knew that they sold hot dogs. However, some locations now serve Tastee-Freez ice cream and frozen desserts, if that even helps. This should be the only Wienerschnitzel location along the Artesia & Cerritos border, famously known to be the«World’s Largest Hot Dog Chain.» I always laugh when I see those commercials of their chili dog mascot, known as the World’s Most Wanted Wiener. He’s screaming his head off as he quickly runs away from those that want to eat The Delicious One. Talk about FAST food, huh? I’m gonna give you some FREE advice, which is usually what my doctor tells me when I make my appointment. You just can’t eat like a kid anymore, unless you are one. I mostly favor the Pastrami Dog(pastrami, swiss cheese, pickle spear, French’s mustard) which has 350 calories, 160 fat calories, 18 grams of total fat, 1520 mg of sodium, and 30 grams of carbs. Oh dear! Most of us would probably want another, with Chili Cheese Curly Fries and a large Coca Cola. As far as what that all adds up to, I’m not even gonna go there. A few years back, I bought a copy of the 2004 documentary called Super Size Me. I popped that into the DVD player tonight, just to remind me of what eating this kind of stuff will do to me in the future. Aside, from everything else I tend to be ignorant about when it comes to edibles like this, I can’t tell you how many times this location has fracked up my order. I’m tempted to skip the drive thru and just go inside, which doesn’t necessarily mean that things are going to be correct. Add the food poisoning and stomach pains that might accompany eating this junk and you might think twice about dining here.

Went here for a late night snack, sat outside since the indoor dining area was closed. Guy that helped us was nice, and who knew that they served curly fries in chili cheese fries these days? Their chili cheese fries are still their calling card, in my opinion, the best among the fast food chains for me. Area feels safe, does the job for what you’re supposed to come here for: satisfying a craving on the cheap.

$ 3 for just a box of chili cheese fries!!! The portion wasn’t even that big! I probably finished it in 5 bites. The drive thru is a little strange because there is no clear direction as to where the exit is. Come here if you don’t want to make yourself some chili food and would rather pay a few more $ for it.

they get my order wrong 150% every time I go here and I always go here(street dogs are oober yummy). Just make sure to say your order clearly and ask them to repeat what your order is so the mishap won’t happen. Also they don’t use gloves when they handle your food so if you get diarrhea or food poisoning and you ate at this place the same day you got sick, this place is most likely the cause of it.

This place is alright not the greatest. It has potential all it needs is the staff to respond the hello not just a smile as a response. Place is clean. Customer service is key for success.

A great place to get a hot dog and dipped ice cream cone when you are in the mood. I enjoy the bacon wrapped hot dog here. They currently have a dipped ice cream with cotton candy flavor that is delish. I hope they add it to the permanent menu.

Went there today(June 16) with my sisters. The girl at the window(I’m assuming her name was Maria A. Since that’s the name given on my receipt) was beyond RUDE! She failed to apply the lid to one of our drinks correctly and it spilled when she handed it to my sister. Then she asked«oh did it spill?» An my sister replied, «yes, the lid was not on right» The girl replies, «yes it was» then turns and closes the window to get the food. Clearly it wasn’t on right or else the drink wouldn’t have spilled! And she didn’t even apologize! Then she has another employee give us out food and hides behind him, peering at us. HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICEATTHISLOCATION!!! Not even an apology!

I feel the need to write a quick review about this place after circling around the traffic cameras yesterday nightbin search of corn dogs. It’s true. Google maps can’t find this location so in case someone else gets stuck in the same loop of recalculation as me, the cross streets are South and Jersey! Service was okay and so was the food. Just your average Wienerschnitzel for your corn dog and chili cheese fries cravings.

Ahhh der wienerschnitzel… I like this place. It isn’t the best hot dog I ever had, nor is it the best chili I’ve ever had, but its still pretty decent. regardless, the food is decently satisfying, and its a clean location… I work right across the street, so the convenience of being able to walk here for lunch is a definite plus for me.

This is a good, reliable place to go to for that chili dog fix. For some reason whenever I go to this Wienerschnitzel, I always think of Dr. Brown the orthodontist and the free toothbrushes he used to send in the mail back in the day. Could that be because he’s across the street? This unlikely association is permanently engraved into my head. Anyhow, this actual Wienerschnitzel is so reliable. The food is consistent and the quality is good. One of my favorite things to do is to take fries and stick them into the chili dog and eat the whole thing at once. Not only does that make economic sense, but it also makes for one really tasty hot dog. This location actually has THREE ways of dining. Drive-thru(remember that this is right on the border of Artesia/Cerritos on the Artesia side), indoor dining room and outdoor patio. Every once in a while you’ll see brave individuals stick it out and eat outside, because as we all know, doing anything you can do indoors outdoors is vastly superior. The only issue with eating outdoors, if you want to make it an issue, is that you are facing South Street right in the busiest part of town as you enter Cerritos and the Los Cerritos Center complex. Chances are, if you want to be seen, there’s no better place than to announce your presence than to eat outdoors at this Wienerschnitzel. Once you’re done, you can walk across and visit Dr. Brown to have those chili dog pieces removed from your braces.
