I wanted to try Chaat and desserts and walked into the shop. They have a sign saying AYCE for $ 8.99 which includes Chaat. After looking at the buffet tray I was disappointed to notice that the food was stale, oily and displeasing to look. I looked around the dessert section(variety of sweets, kulfi and ice cream stuff) and got some. I wanted to try variety of them and they are priced $ 6.99/lb; Any sweets you want to purchase has to be at least a pound. Tasted just so good. Got their bhel puri($ 3.99) and it was awesome. My favorite is Sev puri but they did not have them on their menu. Maybe should have asked? Anyway I suggest going here to try their desserts and chaat item but definitely not their buffet :(

No taste, no flavor. Pretty bland taste overall. Doesn’t seem to be Indian food. We got paranthas(gobi, mooli, paneer) — third class taste. Don’t try it.

Alright, Just had my lunch at Rasbhog, It was tempting me from a long time to checkout this place with $ 8.99 eat all you can buffet which includes chaats as well. #Short Review: People here seems to be nice people with good gesture. But food is not worth trying. There is no taste in anything and its so oily that it will ruin your weeks workout effort. Worst taste I ever had in this area. #Long Review: Good: * Not crowd * Lot of varieties in vegetables * Chaats included in buffet. * Good staff * Bhindi, Karela, Tofu, Manchurian, Noodles, Butter Naan, * Rice, Naan, Pakoras, Paneer, Saag, Cauliflower, Dhoklas and few more Things to improve: * Just one sweet that too damn oily — Moong halva, are you serious ?? * Worst taste in food, and so oily * It tasted like food was recycled 3 times in 3 days. * Puri for pani puri was worst nightmare for pani puri fans * Did I told you that if you squeez pakoras, the oil you get can be used for preparing one whole curry. This restaurant seriously needs a good cook and people who can understand value of taste and health. Look at the photos and you will understand the oil thing. Trust me they don’t taste good.

It was good at first bite. Ordered an ice cream type dish. It has a bunch of different ingredients inside of it that I could not recognize. But there was also some noodles and stuff. Very different from what I have traditionally eaten with ice cream. It was very good in the beginning but towards the middle it were tons of noodles. Wasn’t a big fan of the gang if noodles that were there. I also ordered some paan. It was good and makes up for the ice cream dish

I can’t believe that I haven’t reviewed this place her. Serious one of the greatest Indian vegetarian buffets around. It’s only $ 10, and honestly that is really worth it for just one dish, which is the vegetarian manchurian. It is so good, I spend most of my buffet time eating that. Besides that, there is fresh naan, malai kofta, dal, paneer butter masala, saag(slow cooked spinach dish), all of the ingredients to make the necessary chaats such as pani puri, bhel puri, etc. Additionally, they have a good selection of sweets to top off your meal. Also, don’t forget to eat the Jeera Cookies. They have a peculiar taste and they can be a good alternative for dessert. Furthermore, around the buffet, there are actual glass cases filled with sweets and they are sold by the pound. The prices are very very reasonable.

Disgusting disgusting disgusting… Avoid this place at all costs. The $ 8.99 buffet might sound attractive but trust me is is not worth it. The food is horrible, below any standard, the place is dirty and the only woman at the counter had a terrible attitude. This place is a disgrace to Indian food. I cannot believe it’s still in business. The paneer masala is the most disgusting think I’ve ever had in my life. Terrible experience, please avoid it at all costs.

If Unilocal had a way to give –5 stars. I would give that to this place … We happen to go inside this restaurant because biriyani factory was too crowded … As we stepped in we just told we want to have buffet. And the lady behind the counter was so rude. That we came out of this place. Don’t care how the food is … But it is common sense to be nice to customers… Never going back to this place even by mistake … Even if this is the only place to go in the whole world … I would rather die in hunger …

Tried their buffet few years ago and did not go back. I did not want to give them a second chance. We tried the vegetarian buffet in the night. I do not know what we were thinking since there was film in some of the curries. The Rasam tasted sour and I informed this to the person behind the counter. He did not do anything about it. What surprised me were some people who were still eating it. I was so glad that I did not get food poisoning. I think they use the rotten vegetables from across the street to cook the curries. The store across the street advertises the buffet, and, you get a discount for the buffet if you shop across the street. Have no positive things to say about this place.

The food is decent here. It is just SO cramped, and the tables are usually messy. It’s great that they are busy, but it’s not enjoyable when the kid sitting on the table next to you spills his water and it lands on you. –_– I wish they would add a bit more paneer to the paneer dishes and the cleanliness of the puri/dessert area needs to somehow be at a better upkeep. Also the situation of the line to pay for something blocking the buffet line is a no-no. Worth the $ 8.99 buffet price. If you can deal with the other stuff.

Amazing food. This is my first time here but the lunch buffet was amazing. So many different types of dishes, all vegetarian and delicious. Everything was fresh and doesn’t look old with a film or anything like that. Naan is made fresh to order, and you can even make your own chaat. The fruit, mango and watermelon, was very sweet and not just garnish. They also have Dhokla and Semilina Halwa which I don’t see in many places. The chutneys were also fresh. Yum! Will definitely return and recommend.

You get what you pay for. I came to Rasbhog by accident. I had actually planned to pick up biryani from the restaurant next door, Biryani Factory, but their kitchen shut down earlier than expected(1 hour before closing time). As I was walking back to my car, I noticed a sharp advertisement outside Rasbhog that indicated«Vegetable biryani $ 4.99». The low price caught my attention, and since I did not want to go home empty handed, I decided to give Rasbhog a chance. After a friendly employee submitted my order, I sat at a table to wait. The door separating the restaurant and kitchen was open, which exposed the kitchen operation. What I observed inside the kitchen explains why the prices are so low at Rasbhog. I watched the chef tear open a packet of what appeared to be a boxed masala(spice mix). This is not representative of sincere Indian cooking, and in fact is the lazy approach. The traditional method of cooking Indian food is by mixing, toasting, and hand-grinding fresh spices depending on the specific dish to prepare, and not by taking a shortcut of using pre-ground curry powders which are mass produced, can become stale over time due to low shelf life, and often contain a heavy dosage of preservatives. One bite of Rasbhog’s vegetable biryani made me miss the biryani at Biryani Factory and Hyderabadi dum biryani at Paradise Pointe. It was an underwhelming«salty curried rice» that was very heavy on the ginger and garlic. The deep complex flavors and fragrant aroma were completely missing. I was also not satisfied with the raita which was served a bit warm and had definitely spoiled. To save the biryani from being a disaster, at least the vegetables were not frozen and seemed to be hand chopped. It was worth $ 4.99 and no more. I noticed that Rasbhog has a $ 8 vegetarian buffet with probably the most extensive north Indian varieties in town, including some Gujarati chaat and curries containing vegetables only usually found at Indian supermarkets. However, some of the curries at the steam table appeared to be congealed which made them look unappetizing. Based on my experience and observations, I did not see anything special at Rasbhog that would convince me to return.

Rasbhog is another Indian buffet restaurant on the Pioneer strip in Artesia that has been visited by most of my friends and colleagues, who have reported that the food here is not too happening so I’ve been avoiding this place, but finally I decided to try it out a couple of days ago and come to my own conclusions. Rasbhog is located on right in the middle of all the action on Pioneer Blvd next to Biryani Factory so its street parking which is generally not an issue on weekdays but is impossible on weekends. I was welcomed with loud Punjabi music when I entered the restaurant which was a little amusing as this comes across more like a Gujarati\Rajasthani restaurant from the outside. It seems to be primarily a buffet restaurant with also some made to order dishes like masla dosa which is south Indian so it seems to be a mish mash of everything. Anyway I decided to stick to the buffet which was pretty cheap at $ 7.99. For those who plan to visit please note that you need to pay first before you hit the buffet. The buffet itself was two steam tables with all vegetarian dishes. Most of the food leans towards the Punjabi style, but it did not come across a typical Punjabi food. You have to use disposable plastic plates when getting food from the buffet and you have to dispose of these yourself between multiple rounds as this is a completely self service format restaurant. I started with the a couple of typical starters including Dhokla, Dahi Wada and Chowmien(noodles) and dug in. The first thing that stuck me was that the noodles tasted state like they had been recycled for a couple of days. I just could not get myself to eat them. After the first round I tried a little more noodles just to make sure of my initial assessment which was obviously confirmed. The wada in the dahi wada was hard and crumbly but thankfully the dahi(curd) was not off. The dhokla was pretty good. I continued and took a couple of more dishes from the buffet like bhindi(lady finger), chole(chickpeas), shahi paneer(cottage cheese in cream sauce), veg manchurian and dal(lentils) rice. Apart from the veg manchurian and dal rice all the dishes were below average and not worth another shot. For the sweet dishes I tried a little halva, a couple of pieces of fruit and the hot jalebi. The jalebi again felt stale. The heated syrup tried to mask this but after two bites it became very clear that this was not fresh. The halva seemed to be very heavy with a lot of ghee which completely eclipsed its taste. Finally the plastic plates that I used to get food from the buffet were small and I ended up making four trips to the buffet which felt like I’d eaten a lot but I was just about full. Overall I was borderline satisfied with what I ate here. Coupled with the stale noodles and jalebi I’m forced to throw in my lot with the opinion of my other friends and colleagues who have eaten here that the food here is not good and there are much better options available on the Pioneer strip.
