How can you not live this place. Jackie is awesome and so is the entire staff. The coffee is exceptional as well as the ampmosphere.

Wish this place was near home. It got recommended to us while in Pismo. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Asked someone where a Starbucks was and they recommeded we try Red Dirt. So glad they did. So we frequented this place all week.

I used to visit here when I was going to school at Cal Poly. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and always made sure my drink was made just right. I had a sandwich a couple times and was really satisfied. I miss this spot, the ambiance is very quirky!

Never really got that coffee buzz I usually get from espresso, but flavors were great.

This is my favorite place to go for coffee! They have awesome flavors you can’t find at other coffee places. There is a cool Island vibe to the place and the employees are friendly. I haven’t tried the food, but my favorite drink is the Black Sand Mocha. If you love peanut butter cups, this icy drink will blow you away! I purchased gift cards for friends to get them hooked on this drink! Try one and see for yourself.

From the OC and took a mini road trip north and came along this place. Staff was very friendly and the food was out standing. Pricing very affordable. A little run down inside but not dirty. Added to the«coffee house» environment. Definitely will be coming here on my way back home.

You can’t tell from the photo but had a Taro Root Latte. This is as close to Aloha spirit as you can get on the Central Coast. Food is ono. Have macaroni salad. Close to the islands. No poko though unfortunately.

Love this place. Yummy food and drinks. Can get a lil pricey but you get what you pay for. Always great service and a clean restroom. Kid-friendly, cool aquarium and lil books for kids, but a one-star downgrade because of the smoke that often wafts in from the smokers sitting within 10 feet of the door.

Red dirt is the best spot for a quick breakfast or lunch in the AG area. Good coffee, awesome Hawaiian plates on weekends(I’ve been told), and I especially appreciate the delicious gluten free options. The island turkey sandwich(avocado, cheese, veggies, turkey) on gluten free bread is better than anything I could make at home, and the price is reasonable. I visit weekly or every other week, and have never had a bad experience. If you call ahead, it’s always ready by the time you arrive.

Was excited to go somewhere not«corporate». This place was a bit dingy… bordering on dirty. Ordered a cappuccino dry, got a latte that was bordering on the temperature of the surface of the sun. Not sure how the coffee tastes because my tongue is wrecked. I should have know because I could barely hold it through the sleeve. My wife’s café au lait was luke warm and no Bueno. I’m sure there was a problem making my foam that turned into scalding my milk. Oh, and you get a free eye roll from the barista when you order a dry cappuccino… bonus!

I’ve always had a good experience here but felt compelled to write a review today. Came in for an iced coffee and really wanted to write my Father’s Day card that I picked up at the dollar store. Needed a stamp so I could drop it in the mail which is right next to the coffee shop. Felt weird asking for a stamp but the owner was so cool about it. Went in the back, dug around, and came out with a stamp for me. This is how all the employees are there. Friendly and inviting. The wraps are really good, blended drinks are amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. Thanks you Red Dirt for reminding why I keep coming back!

Healthy-real food and Juices/Smoothies made with Real Ingredients on site! Kinda of a Hawaiian inspired Coffee House– with incredible Juices/Smoothies. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful! Ordered a Beet-Carrots-Ginger Cayenne pepper juice called Kilauea– spicy! Next time I might ask them to tone it down a bit– but super healthy! If you are up in Pismo Beach area it is worth your time to come here ! Real juice– real smoothies with food you can see right in front of you– no sneaky mixes or mystery ingredients!

Stayed at a hotel near by after doing a little coast trip. Stopped in with my friend and had a great experience. Now I am not a coffee drinker but my friend ordered a coffee and she is still raving about it. She said it was the best coffee she has had in a long time. I ordered a passion guava smoothie and we shared a bagel-wich, and got a 7 layer bar(think that is what it was called to go for the drive) The smoothie was so good, tasted just like the fruit, not too sweet, blended really well. The bagel-wich was on a sundried tomato bagel with cream cheese, turkey, tomato, and avocado. Really good, great bagel and amount of stuffing inside. The 7 layer bar was so good, we both said how we were glad we didn’t eat it while at the Red Dirt bc we would have bought another.

Came here to get some coffee to kill time for waiting for another restaurant, overall not too shabby. I LOVED all the different flavors with macadamia nut and coconut and banana! What?! Nice to see a change from the usual flavors. Anyways, I got the Haupia Latte because it had macadamia nut in it! It was good, not too sweet but I couldn’t taste any macadamia. Buuut willing to give the benefit of the doubt cause we headed over there right before they were closing. Atmosphere is super cute and the workers were really friendly, will be back again soon!

Great little spot I stumbled upon after having some great bbq. Great service and great local coffee! The shop has a nice relaxed vibe, and I dig the décor. It adds a nice feeling to the total ambiance.

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. Not a smile, thank you, or anything else from the baristas working yesterday(1÷3÷15) afternoon. Even eye contact was scarce. I should have gone to the Starbucks across the street. Update 1÷10÷15: changed this from one to two stars. After my review, I was contacted by the coffeeshop and they apologized and tried to make amends. This shows excellent ownership/management. :)
