Always a fan for you never know what you are going to find. I got there a bit before they opened, and there was already other women in their cars waiting in the parking lot for it to open too. I guess this location is popular? This store is well laid out, very clean, organized, and well labeled. They had a defined plus size section, but it was mostly picked through. I did find a couple cute things though. I also found other larger sizes scattered throughout the racks. So be prepared to hunt around. The home goods section is on the left when you come in. It has it’s own little room. That area was lacking the most. Very picked through. However, I did find two ceramic bowls for my cats. This location seemed to have more clothes than anything though. Maybe that explains the early bird rush?

It’s your typical T.J. Maxx. Higher priced than other discount stores like Ross or Burlington’s, but TJ Maxx offers designer brands. Service was eh. Most of the time, the person working at the fitting rooms doesn’t even offer a smile. However, the people working the registers seem to be a bit friendlier.

Well, I’m surprised it took me this long to write a review for T. J Maxx. I’m a little biased, as this was my first job when I turned 16, back in Ohio. I loved my little 10% discount, I spent mostly all my checks there on pay day and I always had things in Layaway I just HADTOHAVE! Now that I’m older, I still come here it’s my go-to store. I love all the cute unique things they sell, if I get you a gift, most likely my friends and family know where I got it from. LOL. I love everything about this store, everything from the brand names like Michael Kors, in purses to Kitchen Aid Kitchen Utensils. They have a nice big fitting room they have updated, a jewelry counter, loads of shoes, anything for your house décor and what not. Another area I simply am just plain obsessed with is the little furniture/chairs area. They have end tables, entertainment wooden tables, nice desk chairs, for like $ 130 or less. If you are looking for things to decorate, things to wear, gifts to buy, and all want at an affordable price come here. Oh and by the way I do have the T. J Maxx Rewards Credit Card, which can also be used at their sister company Home Goods & Marshalls. And every 1,000 pts you rack up they send you a $ 10 gift certificate. ;)

I come here more than I should because my mother and her friends have an unhealthy obsession with this store. Honestly, if you’re looking for something designer based, I would recommend looking here first before going to the actual stores. BEWARETHISISGOINGTOBELONG TJ Maxx is a clearance store for large brand name retailers. Most of the things you find are in season as well, which means there’s plenty of chances to score really great deals on new items. There’s 4 «main» categories that I hit whenever I come here: purses, shoes, clothes, and home décor/kitchen appliances. Purses/Shoes: I’m quite picky about my bags and purses, so I haven’t bought anything from here yet. However, there’s an excessive amount of good brands here. I have found tons of Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade, and Juicy. Occasionally, I’ll see a Furla or Marc Jacobs. There’s more than just those brands, of course, but you do need to be patient when looking because it’s not laid out on display like in the actual stores. As for shoes, I’ve ran away with so many steals from here. The prices are so cheap compared to other stores. And just when you think you’re done looking at all the racks of your size, there’s another glorious rack in the back that is full of clearance shoes! I’m talking shoes that are like $ 7 – 20! I’ll also add that between the purses and the shoes, there’s a small rack of wallets(that you also need to spend time digging through) and two carousels of sunglasses. In wallets, I have seen a Fendi one before that was drastically marked down(that was once in 2 years, there’s a lot of MK though). And for sunglasses, there’s always many pairs of Betsey Johnson and Guess(usually around $ 5 – 10) and the occasional $ 200 pair that has been marked down to $ 50. I’ve been going out of my way to look for a good pair of sunglasses, but there’s been no avail at TJ Maxx lately. Clothes: I wouldn’t say the clothes are particularly cheap here. They’re fairly comparable compared to going into the actual brand name store itself. Not to be mistaken, there are deals to be found, but they’re not as drastic as shoes or purses. I do find cheap workout attire here, so when I’m looking for a comfortable outfit so I can go workout in the gym, TJ Maxx is great. On the flip side, the men’s section has really great deals. Brand name ties are usually $ 10(my boyfriend always goes on a spree in here), and there’s an excessive number of Northface jackets that are half price compared to the Northface website. I’m thinking about coming back here to get my boyfriend one because they were dirt cheap.(Denali’s for only $ 50, who could pass that up?) Home décor/Kitchen appliances: This section is tucked away to the left of the men’s department. I didn’t even know this section existed until a year ago, and I then realized that I wasn’t shopping in half of the store. If you’re redecorating, I would recommend coming here to grab a few things. There’s also really great quality pots and pans, bed sheets, and comforter sets. Those bed sheets and comforter sets though. Wow! They’re super cheap for what you’re getting. I used to work and train at a store that specialized in home decorating and it’s obvious to me that these kitchen appliances and bed sets are extremely cheap for the quality that you’re buying. I mean, this place sounds really amazing, and it is. But the employees here are terrible, which is why I won’t give TJ Maxx 5 stars. About half of the time I’m here, someone is extremely rude and makes me want to throw punches. Once, I’ve had an employee push an entire stack of hangers into me where I was browsing, just so that she could put back one shirt. I hate when employees take out their«bad days» on customers. I’ve worked in customer service before, and I completely understand that sometimes people have days that are off. But half of the times I’ve been here, really? Aside from the occasional rude and miserable worker, this place has really great stuff. So I’ve noticed, shipments come multiple times per week. But I usually see the most items on Fridays(probably before the hit on Saturday). Come early on Friday, and have a major field day because the shelves and hooks are spilling with new merchandise!

Not my favorite place to shop. But I loathe the mall and avoid it at all costs. I do like the set up of the store. Everything is always well organized and not trampled(not calling anyone out– ROSS) The prices are much more than a Burlington, Ross or Dots though– and most of the time its worth it. I really like the dressing rooms here as they are always clean and the doors actually lock. The floor staff is always running away wen you need to ask a question– so make sure you don’t look needy and snatch one of them as they walk by– you might have to trip one if that doesn’t work.
